i dont think this artificial intelligence they are seemingly trying with the nap "algorythm" will work out very well. torn is not google.

One of our wars we were going to win, ended up being a failure. After no hits for 2 days.

Couldn't even bigger factions, turn revive off then self hosp? Ending a potentially "lost" war? idk just the way i see it.

We manage To pull 2 100 chains a day.

SS was a rank war and only had like 10 people in it so we mainly focuses bonuses on them we got them to about 70% our way. We were just about to get ready to do another 100man chain and this happens. Its now f**king joke. Thanks Chedburn for screwing every fac hof and esp not hof small factions.

Once again,I log in this morning to find 2 more wars ended for us, 1 of them a ranking war that we devoted alot of time and e to.. I do not understand the criteria for deciding what wars will be terminated for us and which ones wont.we are doing at least 2 50 chains a day and use all of our targets.. ..
Does anyone know what they use to decide which wars to end?

All I see this update doing is giving an advantage to bank factions and 1-3 person teams. The middle man gets ace'd and this doesn't improve the quality of warring, only gives those that don't want to war, but still want to be in a faction, an easy way out. For me, if it looks like I am going to lose a war, or don't want an opposing faction to garner any bonus respect from my faction, I'll just boot everyone when at 10% and travel for two days.

Seems counter productive to me

Well i think that ched has just made the war system a bit worse with his changes and making it harder to have real wars.

Having the max war limit set to 300 for declaring and being declared on i see wont be working. In Big wars factions can pull easily 500 hits in a few hours but being only allowd 300 people in a warbase will only be able to pull off 3 100man chains.

The other update about faction wars napping and ending if attacking isnt active enough i see as another bad idea for smaller factions who arent strong chainers will just make it more difficult for them to chain, and wars ending un suspectingly i see as another inconvience as youll need to wait a whole day before being able to declare on any other faction.

The cap on energy however i dont mind that itll just make big hof wars start of alot slower then usual.

What do you think O-o

The algorithm for ending wars works like this, it takes in to account the faction with the lowest amount of members, and requires half that amount of hits per day. So if the lowest faction has 8 members, only 4 hits are required per 24 hours of war time.

I'm confused with what clansy said.

If faction A has 10 members and faction B has 20. Do the 5 hits have to be made on faction A to keep ALL wars going? or just for faction A and then you have to hit faction B 10 times to keep that war going as well?

A tad ridiculous to me. We try to declare on factions with larger member groups as a rule. That means we have to chain half their members every day or fail.

Take one day off chaining in the middle and lose all of your wars.

EDIT: On top of that you would also still have them in your warbase and be unable to go past the 300 limit.

2ND EDIT: You can no longer tactically beat a faction by outchaining them if they have members with stats you cannot beat.

No tantrum but this seems like a solution to a problem (factions filling their warbase to stay peaceful) that only arose because another problem was 'fixed'.

My opinion would be to unfix the fix and just implement a respect cap per 24hrs.
