Now that you mention that, how is it even possible?
Each faction is gonna have at least 65+ members when the war starts
they'd be lucky to get 4 in their war-base, let alone 6.

Directly from Ched's announcement:
- The 300 maximum 'warring members' has been changed to include both attacking faction members and defending faction members to remove the ability of factions bypassing the rule allowing them to 'slut' respect. As discussed previously, we'll most likely increase this 300 limit to 500 depending on the feedback & results we receive.

So has this taken effect already, or not?
because without this, i don't think that this war will work out.

Why cricket bat and not something neutral like chainsaw?

Cricket bat is an average weapon, which is needed to accommodate the middle tier of players. Chainsaw is extremely inaccurate (if anyone remembers previous termed wars), so its only really usable by the highest group of players, and even then 30% of attacks end up in stalemate because you simply cant land a hit on someone.

Again, this is what I hope to be first of many wars to come, so all terms can be adjusted in the future to fit everyone. But for that to work, we need to test them out in the field first.

I meant as in why do Clubbed people who put merits into it can have an advantage over those which put in other categories like slashing or piercing?

Because we have to pick something.....and a cricket bat is fine with me. We would never know who has what specialization anyways.
