I see a lot of blah blah blah.
So we brought a few evo members.. big deal. Lots of factions with sister factions do. I can think of a few who do on a regular basis. That whole numbers thing is a big factor considering when we chain we have like 3 people hitting lol. Some people take this way too seriously and cry way too much. Its a game. Get over yourselves. Seriously. Heads out of behinds. Just sayin.
Oh, and why do I have a Vulpes member mailing me tonight asking if he can join? Moo something? Either you have great members or silly trolls. *shrugs*
Eh not so much about you bringing members in to help, it's about you doing it against such a weak faction that was fighting you for a challenge which I guess you couldn't bring *shrug* guess rank 9 doesn't mean all that much. But hey no one said you had to fight fair, it is a crime game. I just find it funny how you and Evo went about it after we declared on Evo to help them at their request. Can't fight fair against people that spoon fed you respect to help you, shows a lot about your character.
Also up to 10 in past 3 days and more before that. You sure you don't need more? We're whiny noobs but you're jokes Just curious how many facs you begged to declare on you in the past few days.
I'm still not sure why you keep referring to yourself as the weaker faction, as if rank has something to do with how good the people in the faction are. Other than that argument, this thread is highly entertaining. But what makes a faction strong for a war has nothing to do with physical rank other than letting you declare up for a respect advantage. More people, more chainers and hence more energy and a single person who can hit one person in the opposing faction for the 5 bonus hits. You have more people, you have more active chainers, you have plenty of people who can hit them. Stop thinking being 54th and them being 9 and 3 means anything. Nota created 2.0 from a low ranked faction and took a 1-3 man faction from the depths to #1 to prove a point. When he was ranked in the 50's did that make it a weak faction. 2.0 was just beat by M&C in the last war we arranged. Lower ranks can win, do win. Res is teaching their newer people how to chain, it's a training faction now and they were hitting you with a couple chains a week. They are not a mighty oppressor. But you are fighting back, which I think is great. But why the surprise when they DO call on Evo, the mighty oppressor? It's their sister faction, and I think most know it.
Anyway, great You guys are fighting back, I think you're better than you give yourselves credit for, but just drop this whole omg, we're so lowly ranked line.

Yes. I declared because I was helping you out because that is what friends do and that was after I turned down JFK 2.0's offer to declare on them. And I only asked around for help from our usual honorary Vulpites AFTER Res got their stronk people in because that is also what people do when they know they are out gunned. As it stands I have recruited mattyb and mat. Plus one n00b.

Honestly, you're winning and your lead is still growing. There's no reason you shouldn't win, 80 against 35, of which several are semiactive, non chainers. You should thank those Evo members for joining and helping build up a bigger bonus for you, and Vernunzio gets to brag about owning the #9 ranked faction over and over again.
We both know that's not true. You go on about your inactive non chainers and our numbers but you got stats and activity on your side you simply have more targets. We got plnty who are unable to chain properly they're so weak, we have our own inactives and semiactives which actually make up a majority of our faction, numbers? You guys got more active members in this war, more targets and more stats. Building a lead? I highly doubt that, you're just trying to gt us to build up your bonus, I don't for one second think you're that bad with all those new members in there. We know we can't win but we fight because that's what we do so you don't need pretense to get us to build up the bonus. Besides even if you couldn't you'd just pop 50 more members in there.
The funny part is you act like you want a more balanced war system but you try to stomp on anyone who tries to fight a fair battle, all you care about is #1.
It is true, just look at the war stats. The bar is slowly moving to your side. If nothing else, the people that went to guest chain are actually making it a more fair fight. Otherwise you guys would have won already. Just look at the first page of this thread where you were posting the war stats and how quickly it was moving. It's still moving in the same direction, just slower now. It seems you're upset because they're actually making you work for it instead of you walking all over then like you were 6 days ago
And Honestly, I only asked one person to go over there, and that was to replace Trips as leader. She asked a few to go with her to help her run the faction. A newsletter was sent here, and a few more went to guest chain. I doubt anyone else is going. Trust me, if we really wanted to stomp you, we would have sent a lot more people over from the get go and it would have been over already. That's not the case, it's a training faction, and for many of them, this is their first taste of a war. So it's benefiting everyone. You guys will win (assuming you keep it up), and our guys will gain the experience of fighting a real war. The 5 or 6 guest chainers are only making it a closer fight, they're not overpowering you.
And about the personal attack, when did I ever say I wanted a balanced war system? I'm not stupid enough to think that's even possible. All I've lobbied for was longer wars, and less 'free' respect.

It's not so much a problem as it is a funny observation that Res had to go to big brother to even have a chance in this war.

Except going by all the mouthing off in irc and on the forums, we are a weak, n00by, low ranked faction who roll over and don't fight back. So I am not sure why we are worthy of all this attention...

That is BlueBear so I'd go with the latter.
And if you actually read this thread, all this crap did not come from us initially. We actually try to avoid smack talk during a war and just have fun with it but we also do not let people talk shit about us, be it in irc or on the forums, and not respond.

umm, you started this thread, and it was your members who started mouthing off about res. Your own words you have stated you don't normally fight back. The opening post even states you have let others walk all over you. So why is it all of a sudden you are butt hurt when someone else points out the same thing? Maybe you would do better by taking your own advice and reading your own thread properly, it was Vernunzio that started with the digs at us, it seems you just wished to try to stir up some forum sympathy? (Seems that way, maybe just been overlooked).
I think it is great that you have decided to fight back against your warbase, but why all of a sudden was it such a drama when res also fought back? I also part own the faction, so why wouldn't I come back when we are not chaining in evo at the moment?
I like being hosped in war, boring otherwise. Keep up the good work and keep stocking Matty with epi. I look forward to the attacks.
Rank means nothing, I don't see what your fascination is in continually trying to point out rank differences. Your faction outnumbers res in active and efficient chainers. The majority of res chaining are doing so for the first time and dont really understand it properly.
And bottom line, it is a game lol. Don't lose sight of that and relax a little.

And look. Whenever a HoF faction does this to us I always think of HT and the lead they LET us get before they smashed our faces in. This 'aint over until someone sees that victory button and I have no illusions that it will 100% be us despite our current lead.

Regarding ranking etc. I actually was the one who decided to fight back and defend ourselves, I didn't look at ranking, realize you were rank 9, or remember that you were Evos sister faction, I just saw that the members were a little stronger than us, willing to chain, and the activity level was a little higher than us regarding how often your members were online. I honestly was looking for a fair fight and thought Res~ would supply it. But, nuf bitching let's have some fun, I do think Foxxehs right though and we're just being led to give up a larger bonus. I'm just glad win or lose we're gonna get good respect since we haven't been able to chain in 3 months. Anyways as for all the whining, someone had to and I was bored so it should be me...least that's my take on it.

Beer then supported the motion after the Umbrella mishap and then Res did get help yes.. I don't know if people were bored of training in Evo or if some Res members complained or requested a member or two? I also don't care.
It's a hell of a lot of fun, I'm also going to be so skint after this war, my wallet's actually crying but it's been worth it.
Smack talk is a bit cheesy in my opinion so can we just enjoy it(and the kitties) and drop the hostilities and bickering?
