Here Leader. I will give the the answer to why Ford left. However this is the answer that will keep Silvan from tearing my balls off.
Ford got tired of the general roleplay community here and he had been wanting to quit for a long time. He finialy got to the point that noone would really protest or argue or in general attack him if he left so he left TornCity and joined another online RPG community with a small group of friends.
Dont ask for any more truth in the story or any more details because if you ask you may burst into flame.

Despite the fact that in his later months, ford seemed to greatly dislike me, i too would not mind to see him come back.
As long as he could keep his emotions in check.
anyways, new subject, you mafia boys need to get back to work .

With Grandpa Stranges permission of course.

Uh, yeah.
Anyway, Ford chose the path that for him meant peace of mind and enough chances to expand his skills and imagination. Some self-exploring, if you will.
In any case, there are some of us who still keep tabs on him, but we basically let him do his own thing, undisturbed and non-bothered, both out of respect as out of knowing that it is the best to all concerned.
Now for crying out loud, respect the wretched guy and leave him alone. If he wants to come back eventually, he will. Guys like him usually do, unless someone goes blabbering about how he should come back, or eventually will, or that coming back is a decision not his to make.
Catch my drift? No? Very good.
Speaking of which....where'd I leave that list...

Alright guys, I may not be roleplaying here any more but occasionally I do drop into this section just to see how you're all getting on, and I couldn't resist correcting some of the mistakes and holes in your story about me.
Arthur, you've got the second half of the story right.
By ArthurDent [880230]

This is mostly true. I think I must add the first part of the story before the second part makes sense, though:
As most of you are aware I was married to Silvanxan for a long time, until one day we had mysteriously divorced, and she was married to strange2 instead. Silvanxan and I are both in the middle of a vital year at school, with life-altering exams only a few months away, and we felt that it would be detrimental to be thinking about each other every single day.
So, we decided to go our own separate ways. Originally I planned to leave Torn City altogether, to let Silvanxan have some time to herself, but I realised that I was enjoying it too much to quit.
As a compromise she allowed me to stay in Torn City under the condition that I stopped roleplaying so that there would be at least one sure place for her to be without being constantly reminded of our relationship.
That's why I stopped roleplaying here. I can see from the way you all respond to Silvanxan that she has somehow turned this into a taboo subject which you must all remain silent about or be hunted down mercilessly. I can only assume this is because she feels guilty now that she knows my departure was not without a reaction from most of you.
But that is totally irrelevant now. You know why I quit and Arthur provided a fairly adequate description of what I'm doing these days.
I have founded a small (very small) roleplaying community on another forum, and I invited those whom I respect to join me there. We have few members but the roleplaying is of a very high standard.

Later months? I haven't been here for a year yet and you make me sound ancient, can we say later weeks?
To everyone else, as I have always said, it takes the right thread at the right time to motivate me. If you want me to return then someone's going to have to make a decent space thread sometime soon. Part of the reason I didn't think twice about leaving is because swords and arrows threads were becoming tedious and repetitive.
Saying you miss me flatters my ego, but it doesn't motivate me. I need my damn threads .

It is only common courtesy to not shed the light on a busted relationship to a whole community simply because it isn't our business. Usually the two involved confer with one another whether it's best to make it public or not, so it was only natural and kind of us to divert the pressure for truth away so the two of you weren't affected.
Instead of accepting the favour, thereby avoiding all the drama and having everyone in the RP section know the details between you and Silver... you just had to go and spill the beans. .
Meh, it is your choice, I suppose.
Speaking about the space thread... Seriously. If you want one, surely you have a vague idea of what your perfect space thread would be. Use that.

I'm no longer bothered, I couldn't care less what details are revealed. Silver is just a person to me now, a person who has yet to regain my respect.
And a space thread isn't particularly what I'm looking for, any decent new thread will do. I just want something that isn't mafia (which is way too far progressed for me to drop in now) and isn't the same fantasy thread we've been putting up with for months but this time under a fancy name.

That's just not true. Please don't go slagging me off to people. I never asked you to stop roleplaying, at first you were just going to quit outright, which I was happy with. But then, you decided you did want to stay, but you would leave me roleplay. I did not ask you to leave roleplay. I for one am capable of detatching my emotions from roleplay, I was happy for you to keep roleplaying, and actually wanted you to, simply because no matter what you do, I can't stop liking you.
I don't mean it to be a taboo subject, I will admit I didn't want to talk about it at first because it was painful, and I did feel guilty. But, I said up there, don't ask. I realise that. And I regret it now, it's not my place to hold back information about other peoples friends simply because it's slightly upsetting to me, I don't mean for that, and so I apologise to everyone.
I'm upset to have read the above posts, but fine, it was going to happen.

Did you fail to see the capital letter at the start and the punctuation at the end? Yeah. That's a sentence, made out of a single word.
Besides, I've never heard of such a thing as a "sentance".
