Robbie let out a stiffled giggle. "How long do you think before we get another one?" He asked the others, believing this was an apocalypse.

Eddie, still standing outside Phil's room had witnessed the, 'thing' as he would call it and seeing that two guys are freaking out. Lyndalia hat killed the 'person' with her machete, now labeled as a murderer and immidiantly not trusted after her action. Not to mention that she is shrugging it off, even eating breakfast as if nothing had happend. Eddie has his suspisions but either way she had saved them. He overheard her and Barry talking about what she had done and seeing thier reasoning. He is fimiliar with zombies, well, only those he would see in the films, movies and games he be doing on that desktop computer of his. He is slightly alert as he looked at the body, knowing that 'it' is no longer human.

He walked in the living room along with Lyndalia, having the same thought in mind. Information is crucial right now, knowing the situation is better than just running outside killing or hiding away from zombies. He stood not too far from Lyndalia, keeping his distance from the adolscene, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable around him- or make her swing a machete to his head.

" Let's see what we got here..." He told himself as the television screen begins to flicker on.

To Eddies surprise the TV turned onto the discovery channel. Ironcly it was a documentary about animals in the wild and their struggle to survive, especially with cannibals in certain species. A flick of the switch would go to the news channel, which was covering the Birthday of King Julian from South Africa.

Phil pulled on his shoes and marched out into the hallway; "If anybody else wants to get out before someone else flips and kills us all I'm leaving now! I'll be back in a little while, just to make sure none of you touch my stuff."

Phil awaited an answer, just in case anybody wanted to come with.

Eddie looked blankly at the screen.

" Th' news is feeding us a load of bullshit." Eddies eyes squinted to his dissapointment.

He walked away toward his room and went to his closet to atleast get ready to leave the house. He bent down and went under his bed to retreive his backpack, having bought it not more than afew weeks back. He tore the plastic away from it, got rid of the paper stuffings and began to look in his room for what he can use. His room is useless, the only thing usefull seems to be the tool box he uses to build and repair desk top computers. He brought it with him and then wore his running shoes. He walked to the kitchen to see the food that they have left.

Phil was not skilled enough.

The first women, a big fat thing with half a jaw missing, fell on him like a leopard on slow prey. He screamed out and then began rolling around as the bitch tried to gnaw his face off, only being held back an inch or two.

The second zombie stepped around the two and made its slow way to the kitchen...

Robbie leapt into action. First he ran out of the kitchen, screaming like a girl, then he ran to his bedroom, thinking about hiding in there. It was only as he entered and spotted his prized bat that he decided otherwise. He grabbed it out of the trophy case he had, and ran back downstairs. He dodged the second zombie and headed over to Phil.

He swung the bat like a pro, hitting th Fat Zombie on its head. He fell limp for a moment, falling to the side a bit. Robbie swung again for good measure, poping th skull. He turned around, only to see the other zombie still headed towards the kitchen.

Phil got to his feet and acted on pure, terrified, instinct. He ran like a headless chicken screaming; "ZOMBIES!!!"

After a moment of simply running around in circles he sprinted back into his room and bolted the door once more.

A girl's screaming was to be heard...

" ..." Eddie turned around, towards the kitchen door.

A female zombie, pale as the eye can see, wearing a bloody blous and jeans. hair black and ruined, dark coloured blood on the sides of her mouth and a disgusting hole or 'bite mark' on the neck. Zombie. Pure and simple. The man kicked it down on the ground, he acted quick on getting a cleaver from the knife drawer.

He got it as soon as it went up. He swung that knife clean through the neck. blood splattered everywhere as that came off. He backed of surprised at his single swing attack. It is unrealistic ! He is shocked that the cleaver had cut through the neck, flesh and the spinal bone cleanly cut off. The head bounced in the kitchen and Eddie didn't feel like looking at it. His heart pounded, he felt fear throughout his body, adrenalen and shock. panted, gulping lungfuls of air. Calming his heart from the shock.

He headed over to Phil, that idoit.

" Close the door!" Eddie cried.

The man slammed his body against the door and quickly acted by locking the door, The keys were still in the door knob and he acted quickly by turning the keys and locking the door once more. Looking at Phil and the fat zombie that was on him. He is surprised of Phil's choices.

" Everyone alright ?"

" That was beyond the stupidest thing I have witnessed so far." Eddie looked at his cleaver, seeing the few blood drops dripping down it.

" I really wish that girl killed them, rather than me having to do it." He swung his cleaver towards the wall, it went through and was stuck thier tightly for awhile. now resting away from the man's dirtied hands.

" Those two things that came by," He kicked the fat body away from him as he walked towards Robbie.
" This is obviously dangerous for us to go alone out there..."

Refusing to accept what he had just seen Phil booted up his Playstation 2 and slid in his copy of Final Fantasy 10.

He quickly loaded his save and become a little training session on the Mi'hen Highroad. Auron was nearing another ability, whilst every other dam character couldn't progress in their Sphere Grid because he was struggling to find Ability Spheres. Dual Horns were almost common in this area and throughout his several plays of the game he had realized that they were probably the most common enemy early on in the game that dropped Ability Spheres.

Phil quickly entered game mode and soon forgot all about the zombie Apocalypse outside his room door.

Barry had gone back to his bathroom after the argument he had with Lyndalia and locked the door behind him. He was sat on the toilet answering nature's call and reading a book about cats that he had picked up from the very small collection of books he kept in one corner of the room.

He could hear alot of noise coming from outside and while he wanted to stay calm, he couldn't help but let fear creep into his mind.

..'Has she gone nuts? Is Lyndalia killing someone else downstairs?!' He thought to himself in a panic.

He looked to the lock on his door to confirm that he was just that little bit protected from whatever might be going on.

"Shit" he said to himself in very depressed tone, knowing that he probably had to make his way out of the bathroom rather than be a sitting duck.

Just as he finished on the toilet, an odd noise came from the bathtub causing Barry to jump in his seat and almost fill the toilet for a second time.

He stood up and pulled the duvet back around his body, and then edged towards the bath to investigate, to be confronted by his cat Sapphire trying to pull herself out of the tub.

"What's the matter Saph?" He whispered in the most comforting voice possible

It didn't take long for him notice that there was a big chunk missing from his beloved pets rears end, as if someone had tried to take a bite, and that his once loyal companion was now pawing at the duvet Barry had wrapped around him and trying to bite.

"What the hell!" Barry shouted in anger while holding back manly tears that only a strong bond between man and pet could create.

He looked down at the struggling creature, into it's now vacant eyes that were just a day ago filled with the soul of a happy and playful pet.

As much as he didn't like to think it, at the back of his mind he knew that the whole zombie 'rubbish' he was being fed by his house mates just 10 minutes ago was probably true.

"I guess she wasn't lying.." Barry said in a tone laced with regret and defeat.

Barry took another look back at Sapphire, or what used to be the body of Sapphire, before removing the duvet from himself and pushing the zombiefied cat back into the bath and placing the duvet over it. He couldn't bring himself to kill the thing, even if it wasn't Sapphire anymore. And so he left it under the duvet that it probably wouldn't be able to lift in it's crippled state.

Despite being on the brink of starvation most of his underfed life, Barry knew he couldn't just sit down and wait it out with the lack of food in his bathroom.

He threw on his normal clothes he had piled in another corner. A black pair of jogging bottoms, a white shirt, and his black hoody. And since he knew he might not get the chance again, he took his red and orange scarf with him in one hand.

He picked up a small, metal, club-like item that he had stolen from a nearby school that used it too keep gates locked in place, and headed towards the bathroom door.
It wasn't an impressive weapon, but it was good enough to open a few skulls if need be.

Unlocking the door cautiously, Barry made his way to the nearest room to his which was Phil's. Having seen Phil rush past him on his way back to the bathroom he assumed he was still in there and gave a full force banging on the door.

"Phil, you awake?!"

Phil had just beaten down a trio of Mi'hen wolves when he heard the chap at his door. He paused his game and called out; "That you Barry? The world's gone crazy out there, don't be insulted if I don't want to open the door with that craziness out there."

Barry kept his guard slightly up, looking around in case anything or anyone came from behind him.

Realising Phil might not be too inclined to open the door if he rambled on about zombies, Barry decided on a less crazy sounding approach.

"Heh, yeah it's me. Was just wondering if I could hide out in your room for a little while since everyone's acting nuts and Lyndalia's gone and killed someone. We should take safety in numbers from that crazy woman after all, no?" Barry finished on a artificial chuckle to try and ease the mood and get Phil's door open.

"Sorry, can't be too safe." He smiled slightly and then slumped against the door.

Barry quickly regained his composure after being forcefully pulled into the room.

"T-thanks man"

Not quite knowing where to sit, rather than ask, Barry took position underneath the Halo reach poster on the wall, and leant against the dresser.

Barry was unsure where to go from here, it seemed a little soon to break the news about how likely the zombie outbreak was since he didn't want Phil to kick him out and brand him a nutter too.

"So... got anything decent to eat in here?"

Barry was quite hungry, the peanut butter sandwich he had treated himself to earlier not doing it's job. While he didn't want to come across as sponge and leech off of Phil, he couldn't think of anything else to make small talk about so went with it.

"Hmmm, I guess I can go without. I've been hungrier than this before after all."

Barry picked up that Phil went to say Zombie but had quickly changed his mind.

Wondering if he should bring up what had happened to his cat, and maybe discuss the situation, Barry let out a short sigh before speaking up.

"So... you don't believe zombies could be real?"

He decided to ask a question that didn't give away his own take on the events going on outside in case Phil took badly to them, but rather tried to see what attitude he was working with in Phil.

Lyndalia became quite sad, as she finished her breakfast. Since no one else seemed to want any, she took the rest of the food and put it in a large plastic bag to take with her, made another couple pots of coffee, which she poured into her large thermos bottle.

This being done, she moved quickly into the bathroom, had a quick shower, washed her hair, and applied no cosmetics of any kind. She then, wearing a towel, proceeded into her room and proceeded to dress herself into her camping outfit, the serious outfit that she used to go into places that were dangerous, extremely thick jeans, cotton socks, black hiking boots, a black denim shirt, the amethyst pendant which always brought her luck, and finally, her leather jacket. She then packed her backpack as if she were about to go camping, put it on her back and went out to take her leave. She took Grandfather's sword, and the hilt was sticking up out of the backpack. She then took up the rest of breakfast and her thermos and put them into the camping backpack.

Lyndalia then proceeded to the door and said the following:

"I thought you all were my friends, but I guess I thought wrong. I think we should try and make it through this together, but whatever. If you want to call me a murderer, despite the fact that the 'man" I chopped into bits was mostly bloodless, and was trying to kill Robbie, then whatever. If you want me to leave then I'm gone. Let me know, because I'm off, unless you'd like to report me to the police first, in which case you know where the phone is." Lyndalia glanced over her shoulder to see her "friends"' reactions.

Her hand moved toward the doorknob, fully expecting that they would tell her to get gone. She hadn't forgotten about the machete, but made no move toward it, intending to grab it concurrently with the twisting of the doorknob.

Alecksandir Strange hated his first name. He had labored for a large amount of his life to not to have people know his ponderous first name, which his Russian mother had buried him under. As far as he knew, his housemates only knew him by his last name. This was fine with him, as he did not overly like any of them. The girl was alright, but only because she was unpredictable, and perhaps a bit loopy. He also had a hard time relating with most of them, as games were not his great passion in life.

Make no mistake, Aleclsandir liked games, especially stratigy games. He had no problem at all spending days commanding armies and empires alike, but it was not his obsession. That was reserved for Theater. Comedies, tragedies, dramas and musicals, he loved them all. He worked at no less than three different theaters around town, building sets, assembling lighting, and acting in extra parts and walk-ons. By all accounts, he was a good actor. But, it was rather hard for a starting actor who couldn't decide what type of actor he wanted to be to find a job doing it, so he built sets, and took what he could get.

He was a young, like his housemates, but his hair was prematurely gray, and he sported a rather hefty mustache, when not required to remove it for a performance. He currently wore a dress shirt, untucked into the loose fitting casual pants he was rather found of, Khaki today. Perhaps blue tomorrow. He lived up in the attic, his small bed tucked into a corner, a few ricky bookshelves on the walls, and two desks. One with a few ragged notebooks, the other with his gaming PC. He had also done his best to soundproof the attic. Both to keep out the noises of his fellows, and to protect them from when he practiced his lines, or watched a taped performance on the PC, as he was doing now. A rather shoddy production of Miller's The Crucible.

He was learning from the mistakes of others. *

Barry looked down at the floor in front of him, still upset from the encounter with his half eaten and now zombified pet.

"I think Lyndalia might have been right about that guy being a zombie after all..." Barry spoke in a depressed way, sniffing and wiping tears out of his eyes before they had the chance to run down his cheeks.

"I found my cat half eaten in my bathtub... S-still alive though."

He wiped a few more tears out of his eyes before continuing, not looking up from the floor in front of him.

"Pretty sure my cat's been bitten by some sort of zombie, she looked half dead and was trying to bite and scratch me as well."

While talking to Phil Barry had made note of the noises coming from the rest of the house, and it sounded like people were moving about quite a bit out there. Zombies? The rest of his house mates? He had no idea what was going on just the other side of that door.

Not wanting to stick around after being so visibly emotional about his lost companion infront of Phil, Barry got up and made it clear he wanted out, hardly waiting for Phil to move at all before unlocking the door and squeezing out of the room.

"I'm just going to grab some food" was all he could come up with for a reason for his abrupt departure.

As he left into the hallway outside, he just caught sight of Lyndalia making her way towards the door.

He stood at the top of the stairs listening to her sort of speech which was declaring her leaving, before managing to speak up and say something in an attempt to stop her.

"Lyndalia, wait a second!..."

Barry didn't quite know what to say. He didn't like being wrong, especially to a girl, and he didn't like apologising either.

After a few seconds of trying to think of a way of admitting he was wrong without humiliating himself too much he took a few steps into sight and resumed talking, looking down to the floor while he did so.

"I don't think you're a murderer, or crazy. I... I... well you can't blame me for reacting this way to something like this can you?!" Barry finished the sentence in a defensive way, nearly shouting.

He looked up at Lyndalia after his sudden outburst.

Barry didn't think another sob story about his cat was appropriate, definitely not in front of near all of his house mates either.

He dried his eyes again before calming down.

"I think you're right though. We should stick together if this really is something nuts like zombies, so don't just walk out of the door and leave."

The fact was this. Robbie and Eddie had been standing by the door. Eddie having a meat cleaver knife sticking in the wall and Robbie having his bat down. Eddie locked the door, only to see that this girl wants out of the game and he aint having that.
Not to mention that Barry came bustling after her and saying the most embarrassing things infront of the four people.

" Calm down !" Eddie smacked his hand loudly at the door. grabbing the attention.

" You there, little girl." He pointed his finger for nomore than five seconds at her.

" Don't assume things so lightly about everyone here !"
