Rend opened his eyes only to have them fall shut once more. He placed his hands over his ears to stop the ringing and settle his headache.
Apparently he had been knocked unconscious by a strong form of magic, exhaustion and probably a mixture of physical trauma. But like a real Ork warrior he rose once more, without any second though Rend stood up and flexed his tight muscles. Like a curtain of brawny steel his back rippled when he flexed his large meaty arms while stretching his upper back.
"GGGGGGGRRRRRRRAAAAAA!" Rend roared upon standing back up before making sure he had his weapons, shield and armour mostly intact.
Rend then turned to see he was not alone in this room. Apparently an elf guard had been placed here perhaps to guard him, his memory of what happened on the streets of Sardo was still rather hazy he could have gotten himself into trouble, with Rend this was always a possibility.
Before Rend could reach for his weapon, just to make sure he was not here under penalty, he was interrupted by the small elf guard.
"Sir I have been given instructions to make sure you reach the courtyard of the king, there a group is gathering perhaps to deal with this new situation."
Rend was silent for a moment as he weighed his options. He could easily return home to his palace as his assistance here would likely no longer be needed, but he was wounded at least slightly by one of those dragons and he was unable to make a fair number of them pay for their arrogance and ignorance... if they knew who they were dealing with he doubted they ever would have come here.
"Take me to the courtyard elf, I wish to take my revenge on those who would dare insult the kingdom and our king."
Rend would make sure whoever was responsible for this cowardly attack would pay, with their lives... or he would die trying to make them. He was a Lord now but by no means less of a warrior or a Ork. It was only a matter of time before those responsible would taste the dull taste of blood and steel Rend always seemed to bring with him.
Rend and the elf made their way down to the courtyard to join those gathering there.

"The dragons are from this realm, you fool." Er're smiled; "They inhabited this land far before your foul brood besmirched it with your constant war and fighting."
"As for the dragons coming from a portal, perhaps they were being teleported from a different part of the world." Er're of course did not realise that John was talking about Wvyrms being summoned from the underworld, if he did he would probably smack John for mixing the two species up.

(I had post 600)
John, being old and far away at the time, didn't know the difference between Wvyrms and Dragonlings. "That could be so, but as these dragonlings were fighting for Hades, I doubt it. They did kill at lot of desertmen, and even a few demons." He looked as though he suddenly remembered something. "I wonder what happened to Balthazar..." he mused aloud. The staff suddenly shot it's metalic spike upward, causing it to disappear in the sky.

Er're smiled to Rend as he entered the courtyard, then his eyes opened wide and his face was a total blank as John said the name 'Balthazaar'.
He turned slowly to face John again; "You...You don't mean Balthazaar, the Alpha demon do you?" His face was deadly serious, as if John had just said something immensely insulting/dangerous.

John was suddenly puzzled. "Umm, yeah. I think he was a demon. It's been a long time, but he might've been an Alpha demon. Why? Do you or the king not like him?" As he asked this, he looked aver at the king, expect him to order John head on a spike.

The king looked just as puzzled as John about Er're's reaction, he watched with clear interest.
Er're's eyes appeared to search John's face for any hint of lying, and when they found none Er're leaned back on the bench as if he had just been told he had some sort of fatal disease, his face had an expression of utter disbelief; "Balthazaar Rehanda... He's still alive, and he was here in Sardo of all places." Er're spoke in a strange language after he said Balthazaar's name, the word he said after it sounded as if it were a title of some sort and the way he said it it was clear it was one of great importance.
In truth Er're had just spoken Ancient Elven, a long dead language that hasn't been used in Sardo since the original founding of the kingdom. It was thought to be an entirely dead language, lost in the flow of time, so much so that few even knew of its existence at all.
He stared blankly outwards, as if his mind had just been torn apart by the fact John had seen Balthazaar 20 years ago...

(Brun doesn't even know it -everyone is shocked- )
Shilor did not answer for a while probably mulling over Faolin’s words. “I used to be a blind man searching for the light. Brun took anger to me and appeared before me. He challenged me asking my worthiness to see such light and when I did not answer he gave me these eyes to see; these eyes to show that I was not blind; I was walking in the darkness.” Shilor answered vaguely.
He paused for a second before adding “You are a man of practicality and a straight answer is what you seek. I do as Brun commands for he will take me to the light.“

"Well, he was alive twenty years ago. Back then, he was, which I find ironic, the leader of the templars. Of course they stumbled across one of my forts, we fought them back and came to a truce. I never saw him again, until the war twenty years ago. I wonder what Bahamut faced when he went into Hades portal of dragons." As John spoke, the spike came back to earth. It landed in the ground between Er're legs, going deep into the mud.

“Wyverns, fool.” Came Brunnex2’s voice from inside the shell. It was magically powerful and resounde around the whole courtyard. “It was a portal to a region of hell filled with wyverns. Not dragons, wyverns. Not of the same species, different species. I apologise for this but I have a really bad hangover.”

"You have been gifted eyes of your own and yet you still seek the light of another, what have you learned from Brun truly? Brun spent most of his life doing as he saw fit, trying to better himself or the world in his own ways, and this man chose to gift you such brilliant eyes.
So you repay him by following his 'light' blindly? Brun followed no one else's ways, nor did he ever think that he was lost in his path. Perhaps if you adopted his ways, instead of just following his orders like a sheep, then you would find your own light instead of syphoning off a portion of his." Faolin shrugged; "Then again, who am I to judge."
"Thank you for answering my questions Shilor." Faolin added.
----
Er're seemed to still be thinking things over.
"Assassins playing in the dark with Templars, how curious." The king smirked to himself.
*It was at this point that a heavy beating of air could be heard, and soon a great red dragon could be seen coming in for a landing in the courtyard.
Within a minute Erda's giant bulk smashed down in the courtyard.*
He lowered his head to those gathered in a sort of bow, his voice filled the yard; "Greetings, I am Erda."
The king clapped and stood up straighter; "Hello dragon, these are the men that you shall lead to kill the dragon Bahamut."
Erda seemed to eye the king up as he would a deer, then he focused on the others; "Your names, if you would be so kind?"

He united the tribes, elevated us from primitive ancestor worship, and took us to a land where food literally grows on trees. This is merely the start of his blessings. If we had to fight for him, then so be it. If we must fight for your friend, then we will fight for him as well. Assuming he lives, of course. *The high priest did not seemed angry, merely disappointed that brunnex thought that death was something important...*

“Good enough.” He answered sitting back from the food. “Why are you the leader here?” He asked suddenly.
***
The grass shell shrunk back into the ground revealing Brunnex2 sitting cross-legged. “Where are my men, King?”He asked hoping the King was not about to do what he thought.
***
Shilor chuckled “I talk in too many riddles. A great tragedy had befallen me some ten years ago and I took my rage out by slaughtering everyone in Brun’s floor of the temple. It was only seven; nought to me but some would say otherwise. I kept demanding to the heavens ‘Is this the wisdom you send oh omniscient God?’. When I came to the last priest, a threllos, Brun appeared before my eye. He was livid with anger and at that moment I feared for my life more than any other moment.
He cried ‘You want to see the truth? You can’t handle the truth!’. Despite my fear I scoffed ‘Show me the truth for it can’t be worse than this.’. There was a flash of light and next thing I knew I was lying naked upon a field many miles away from the Temple. Something had changed my vision though. Everything was in slow motion and my vision darted around attracted to every movement. Then I met my first sentient being. It was a human and I looked up into his eyes and truths started to fill my brain. His name was Garland.
He was a farmer.
He had a wife and three kids; two boys, one girl.
Sometimes he felt like killing them all and just running away.
He had a sword hidden in a shed.
It would have been so easy for him to just collect it in the middle of the night and kill them in their sleeps.
Perhaps he should use a dagger instead.
It would be much quieter.
That was the day I found out that I’m not a monster; I’m normal.” Shilor finished placing his hand behind his head.
“You should not take me too seriously. I will die soon.” He added closing his eyes “The world looks so much better already...” He mumbled before falling into a deep sleep....

*The high priest laughed. *
Because Strange said I should be leader. Frankly, I have no idea what I lead here, but I do, and things seemed to work out reasonably well. I suppose when I die, I will follow suit with the prophet, and choose the one I think is most suited.

Brunnex sighed contently. “I have no more questions for me but you have been light hearted enough. Do you have any questions you would like to ask me?” Brunnex guessed beyond asking who he really was the priest probably wouldn’t have many questions. A question on his mind was why he still looked like a desertman. He could easily fix it but for some reason he didn’t.

Faolin nodded, smiling to himself; "Brun sure does know where to send his followers in times of need, that's for sure."
Fenrir groaned and, to Faolin's surprise, sat up rubbing his head as if were slightly itchy.
He looked to his right to see, lying down in a line from closest to furtherst, Faolin, Shilor and Shang. Shilor and Shang appeared to be sleeping but Faolin was staring at him, worried and yet also looking rather confused.
"Well, you're up faster than I thought you would be." Faolin chuckled and sat up; "How do you feel?"
"Like I've been used as a punching bag by some psychopath for no reason." Fen smirked, then groaned as his ribs began to burn; "How long have I been out?"
"A few hours, you've recovered pretty quickly actually. I expected you to be out for a full day at least...Perhaps its your godly blood." Faolin smirked as Fen looked startled by his comment.
"You know who my father is? How?" Fen moved backwards slightly, who the hell was this guy anyway, he didn't have a clue why he hadn't asked yet. Something about the guy just oozed calmness.
"I fought alongside him during the battle with your grandfather, Hades. I am Rider Faolin, at your service." Faolin dipped his head.
Fen untensed, he had heard stories back home of a large man who had tamed a mighty dragon and fought against Hades alongside the new gods, this guy was a folk-legend!
Fen tutted and shook his head; "I didn't even thank you for saving me! Thanks, Faolin. I'm-"
"Fenrir Shalzor, I know." Faolin lay back down; "Your friend will be out for a while longer I think, he doesn't seem to have your healing abilities."
"Healing abilities?" Fen quized, what did he mean?
"Well, I did what I could with magic but your bruises were still pretty bad not too mention you had a broken rib. Judging by your movement this is no longer the case, nor do you have any bruises any more. You're father's blood must have given you an oddly fast speed of natural healing, nothing that's too useful in a fight sure but it seems you recover faster than most would."
Fen felt his ribs, checking for any pain. He felt none, he wondered if he really had had a broken rib at all; "So, why did you save me?"
"I was looking for you two. Two demigods wandering Sardo on their own, its not a wise move. I was making sure you both knew what dangers you would face if you travelled the world, I guess today was a good example of that." Faolin closed his eyes; "Rest now, we'll speak more later."
Fen groaned, he wasn't tired at all any more but he would try to sleep...
----
"I'm sorry champion, but I need all of my men here in case you fail to kill the dragon and he attacks again." The king said exactly what Brunnex was thinking, probably.

It was Brunnex’ turn to chuckle now. “I don’t know him as well as you think but I see a flame within him. He will be great and this I already knew. I follow him for the same reason you once followed a man you hardly knew out of the desert and into death. Those of us who lack that flame must warm ourselves with their presence.” He looked over at Tourivil thoughtfully wondering if what he had just said made sense. “Any other questions?”
***
Brunnex2 grew lighter “In that case I will ask upon my return and muse as I battle the mighty dragon.” He looked over at Erda and bowed “You know who I am.” He told her. It would’ve been rude to have forgotten a man he had killed not four days previous...

Atlast the axe has been made, Oh and how it was a beauty compared to the other sorts of axes that lay about. The main colour of the weapon is black, but strangely this piece of metal is of infact several metals fused together making it give of waves of different silver light if the sunlight were to directly hit its surface. The handle is out of standart metals, just like any other axe. As said before, the Orks make reliable weapons and aren't as nearly as decorative as the dwarven armoury.
The young man thanked the green humaniod for his hard work and walked away from Neo Orkanso. He had did what he came here to do, no reason staying here unless he is interested in screwing an ork female and fathering a freak of nature. horrible sense of humour, he might say to himself.
He walked out of the town, going up hill on the baren black earth around him. The dirtied sky of the workshop smogs and the natural light grey sky that blocks the sun of its radiance.

"I am Er're, Ega." Er're spoke once again in the strange language, rising from the bench and stepping past John's spike entirely without care for it at all.
He came to stand before Erda and bowed low to the ground; "My greatest respects Ega, we knew not when we came to this country that it played host to the last of the riders and his dragon."
Erda dipped his head; "Greetings Er're Iranus(Draconic word for an Elf from Er're's country/one of his kind.) I also did not expect to meet any of your kind here, nor anywhere I must add."
"My clan's numbers are not as great as they once were but my great race still thrives in our home land. Even if there is a large host of things in this country daring to call themselves Elves, the real Elves yet live." Er're un-bowed and looked up at Erda.
"I see, may I ask whom your clan chief is at the moment?" Erda seemed to be quite knowledgeable about Er're's background.
"Xavra're is the current leader of my clan, as he has been for the past century and a half." Er're answered calmly.
Erda nodded slowly; "Yes, I recall my mother telling me of him. Well, Er're of the Iranus I hope your skills will come in handy in this hunt."
"They shall Ega." Er're bowed again and then backed off to sit on the bench again.
Only Rend was left to introduce himself..

The young cloaked man had made it out of the barren wastelands of the Orks' official capital city, wishing that he will never go there again and instead roam around the lush grassy landscapes of western and central Sardo. He walks onward the road, having no clue where to go next. He thought for a moment. He now has a weapon to protect himself with, going to Trees Aura doesn't really have a meaning anymore since he already studied the military and trained half of his life. Going to The Capital city of Sardo also has no meaning anymore, it is rich, well educated, aristrocat behvior and yeah, 'too soft'. Might aswell follow the road.
He is located away from Orkanso and is heading northeast.
He thinks that he'll either 'stumble' upon Strange's Forest or the high mountain ranges that inhabit the short stuborn dwarven race and thier hidden city, Fara'Kull. Interesting since both areas will give him something to experience maybe out of the ordinary.
