Shane knew what he was doing and he couldnt block it. At least he didnt know if there was a way to do it. He knew how to do it though. When he thrust downward and M disappeared like he expected he very quickly counter-clockwised the swirling magic in his other eye.

There was a dizzying spinning feeling, a bright yellow pinprick of light and suddenly he stood in his bedroom at the royal palace. Stood was not the right word because he had not much longer appeared then his legs had given way. Suddenly there was a violent wrenching in his stomach and its contents exploded out of his mouth like mortar fire.

After several gut wrenching, and increasingly violent, disturbances Shane felt well enough to stand. Why had he ended up here? He hadnt thought of a place specifically. Hed just hurled himself through the space-time continuum with no regard to where could end up. That was pretty f**king hardcore to say the least. He couldve ended up in a Volcano; in space; on a different planet. He didnt know exactly the limitations of his eye but there were certainly some places he would rather not end up in

He urged the sword quicker and brought it around to creat a ring of flam that spiralled outwards disintegrating the sand as it came toward him. The massive flames, now having turned into a cone of flame, flew outward threatening to engulf the whole central mass of the demon.

As Balom's sand was dissolved by the intense flames a yellowy haze rose into the sky, creating a rather odd overcast for their little exchange.

As the flames seared their way through the sand around Balom's chest the sand became lighter and lighter, until eventually the flames had burned away the last of the front of Balom's chest, revealing a shining golden orb of pure magical energy it his core. When the flames licked it's surface the orb reacted by sending out a pulse of pure kinetic energy, that sent even its own sand flying in all directions, Shilack would have no time to dodge at all.

The orb floated in the air for a moment, and then it rocketed away from Shilack, towards the desert of Unu'keth at speeds faster than the human eye could follow...

-

When M appeared and Shane was gone the man wasted no time in vanishing once more into his eye, since the boy was out of the way his body was now going off to carry out it's real objective, that being taking care of the demon.

M appeared in the centre of a large group of Sardonian men who were cheering as they toyed with the last of the abominations in their area, M set them alight with black fire and their cheers turned to screams...

Johns smoke magic was a wonder to behold at times, and as Jon Jong came near him, John created a smokescreen to cover himself, before teleporting to the otherside of Jong Jong. While he hadn't had time to go completely smokey, he had enough time to teleport.

If Jong Jong got close enough to the smoke, John would begin his trap.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _

Jasper knew an attack was emminent, he was, after all, still in mid-air. He kicked his shield towards the attack, or towards Nahkaro, he didn't care, and used the moment to redirect himself to the ground, landing right next to the hole he had shot out of, and near Fenrir.

"How you doing kid." He'd asked when he landed next to Fen.

Sensing that John had teleported Jong Jong's body flicked its wrist, willing an aura tentacle to fly forward and push off of the ground long before Jong Jong even neared the ground where John stood. Jong Jong was sent rocketing the other way, but a second tentacle extended in the opposite direction of the first and when it it ground it countered his momentum and he came to a standstill, or rather a float-still since he was some thirty feet of the ground now, and rising as the tentacles grew longer and longer.

"Good, keep dodging but you'll have to land a hit at some point as well." Jong Jong's voice whispered in John's ear, as if the man were right behind him. When John turned Jong Jong would indeed be right behind him, or at least a clone or Jong Jong that would be dispersed in a single blow.

In the instant that John would turn his head however Jong Jong would slashed outwards with both hands, lashing the air with two tentacles and firing long waves of greeny-blue aura towards John's position. These projectiles would have no problem hitting John even in smoke form.

-

The air blast cut the rock-shield in half either side fell uselessly to earth far away from their battle.

Fenrir managed a tiny grin, which was washed away by a look of terror as the air around him and Jasper began to humidify and become thicker, and Fenrir could already feel that this was not Nahkaro's ordinary mist, no it had a strange heat to it that told Fenrir this was the makings of his corrosive mist.

Nahkaro made several un-common handsigns and then planted his palms on the ground, whispering something unaudible under his breath. A perfect rectangle of clear energy some fifty feet each way appeared around the trio, with them being at the exact centre of it.

Rising back up to his full stature Nahkaro growled to himself; "You won't be able to teleport anymore, and you had best find a way to defeat me soon or that mist will reduce to to goo in under two minutes!"

Fenrir knew N wasn't exaggerating, and against the pain in his entire body and most likely his better judgement he began to rise again, by now the mist was already blinding and it was beginning to singe the hairs on his arms as it became more and more corrosive...

Shilack was blasted away and spent many precious seconds writing himself before he sped after the thing sending waves of fire ahead of himself at it. He had a feeling he knew what it was going to do and stopped himself before he crossed the threshold in the UnuKeth desert. He wasnt going to find a sand demon in a desert. Now way was that going to happen. He gently retreated back to watch the creature from the relative safety of the Ascension Fields.

***

Shane had dallied too long. Imagining where he had been before he reversed the flow of magic to his eye and he was suddenly gone once again. He managed to stay upright when he appeared on the Ascension Fields once again but could not stop himself from being violently sick. If it wasnt for the fact he could take in energy through the moisture of the air Shane would be potentially quite physically weak from emptying so much of his stomach.

Shane looked around the battlefield searching for signs of the black flame within the carnage. Seeing some in the distance he sprinted toward it stopping only to take down abominations that got in his way.

Balom shot into one of the large dunes of sand that surrounded Unu'keth, entering it as if it were not there at all. There was no delay in him entering and the initial stages of change in the sand, the dune that he had entered began to grow even larger and larger as sand from all around it was sucked violently through the air, at the same time the dune began to rise higher and higher into the air, shedding a layer of sand here or there so that in only a matter of seconds Shilack was now staring at what was obviously a huge version of Balom's head, blown up perhaps forty or fifty times so that it now blotted out the sun for half of the battlefield.

A cylinder of sand perhaps thirty foot wide shot from the growing mass of sand, starting some twenty feet in the air, and moved towards Shilack with surprising speed for it's size. It was quite obvious that if Shilack got pinned by the cylinder then not even his improved durability would be enough to survive that many tonnes of weight.

-

Unknowing or uncaring that Shane was back on the battlefield M began a slaughtering-jog towards the resurfaced figurehead of Balom, cutting down or burning with black fire any Sardonian that got anywhere near him, and some that didn't.

*Tourivil's battered body was thrown backward and smashed into a pile of rubble. He smiled a broken smile up at the little beast. *

Well, he will come over here and kill me if you don't do something, you little monster. And I swear that if you try and teleport me I will kill myself, beast.

*The little beast gave a sigh, and turned it's attention to Tao. Hovering in the air, it coated itself in a thick coating of compressed steam. It did this with the wink of an eye, and any who punctured that layer would not only be burned, but blown back as the steam discharged. It then coated one tiny fist in a cone of red hot steel, and held it out in front of itself. With great speed, the beast hurled itself at Tao, point at his back, intending to impale the undead.

The little beast did not mess around. *

Tao stumbled forward, loosing his footing even, when the beast hit his back with such force that any magical defense he may have raised would have been shattered instantly. Unfortunately for the beast Tao did not need a magical defense, not when he had the ultimate physical defense.

Still on one knee Tao clapped his hands together, the air around the little beast rapidly compressed inwards with enough force to crush a small car, and then he rose up with a wave of his arms towards Faolin whom was about to re-engage him, blue flames blazed into existence and sped towards Faolin like two giant scythe blades.

Faolin leaped into the air just in time to dodge the attacks, the buildings behind him were not so lucky and were cut clean in half by the flames, and then engulfed in a small inferno a moment later as the flames exploded.

Shilack was quicker. Ever quicker. He dodged out of the way and began to swing his sword in a quick clockwise motion like he was stirring something. Flames leapt out of his sword and went round and round too until he was unleashing a tornado of flame at the giant head.

*After bouncing off Tao, the little beast released it's steam shield when the crushing attack began. This rapid released of pressure quickly countered the rapid increase in pressure. Thus, an unscathed beast. It landed on the ground, and began to prepare a spell.

The spell in question was no mundane attack spell. Nay, it was something much greater, one of the more complicated spells in known blood magic. It was a series of three glyphs, which, when made in rapid succession, were designed to sever, seal, and expel. The first glyph was the blood magic symbol for knife, which the little beast blasted into a brick. He placed this on the ground before him. He then began work on the second glyph, the symbol of the cyst, he blasted this into another brick, and placed it on top of the first. He then picked up the final brick, and began work on the final symbol, that on the broken artery....*

Rend was deep in the fray. Around him was nothing but a sea of limbs moving in their inherently chaotic manner. It was like watching the shore during a calm rainstorm. Each raindrop puts its stamp on the surface, causing a random but unique impact on the surface.

Although he enjoyed the scene Rend had no time to spare. With a quick motion he removed his axe from the neck of an abomination. He then kicked its head, now firmly removed from its horrifically maimed body. He was quick to find his next victim. This abomination was fixated on an Ork warrior, one who was clearly on his last legs, his left arm spurting blood. Despite this he defended himself well, using his shield to rebuff his opponent again and again. Rend wasted no time, raising his axe as far as he could, smashing it down on the back of the Abomination. The axe ripped through the back of the abomination, clean through the armor out its chest on the other side. The large Ork then raised the Abomination up as it squirmed and screamed before dislodging it, in order for the creature to savor its slow demise.

Grahl you better make your way to safety your in no condition to continue the fight.

The Orkish captain was well known to Rend as he was one of his shining pupils ever since he became Lord. He was a good warrior but he was unable to recognize when to stop, a quality that Rend both shared and admired. Normally he would have let Grahl continue but he had already seen dozens of his warriors die today, he did not wish for Grahl to die without at least some honor and with only one arm he would not be able to do much more than sacrifice himself.

Thank you sire.

The Captain then left, holding his arm with his now free hand. He tried to run back but the battle was too intense directly behind them so he was forced to make his way to the side of the battlefield, now filled with casualties and bodies of the recently slaughtered. Rend swung his axe while holding nothing back, his body spinning and arching to shred through Abomination after Abomination.

Rend stayed busy for sometime before something caught his eye. It was another Ork. This Ork seemed rather odd, his stature was of course quite impressive but rend was also drawn towards him. Rend was sure he had seen this Ork before, despite the absence of presence in his army or even his capital Rend would have remembered seeing a subject so tall, so strong he certainly would have drafted him. He then realized why this man was so foreign, he donned the armor similar to that of the Abominations but obviously modified to fit such a large frame.

Only when Rend made his way to a few dozen feet did he realize who he was dealing with. It was of course Burtz the Orkish hero of days past, famous for being the first Ork Lord in the history of Sardo. Rends father Gert and his uncle Morgall both served as basic foot soldiers for Burtz. Morgall died in an extended campaign against persistent raiders but Rends father Gert was known in his village for his courage and bloodlust in battle only to die in a bar fight in the twilight of his life. It was to Rends delight to meet an opponent so qualified. He knew what it takes to become leader of such a violent race. But he and Burtz were quite different leaders. Where Burtz commanded loyalty by raw fear, Rend was more interested in respect of his people and freedom from their curse. It would be an honor to do battle with this Ork as they both stacked up well, Rend only being a few inches shorter than Burtz and perhaps a few pounds lighter. Burtz wielded his giant hammer, while Rend sported his two-handed axe.

The two warriors now stood almost face to face, only a few Ork warriors and Abominations stood in their way. Burtz then swung his hammer with both his hands, sweeping down two Orks, leaving them both in a heap of mangled carnage.

Well, well, well if it int big bad Burtzy. Rend spoke through his oversized black helmet.

The Ork kept coming towards him, now at a good pace, his path cleared.

Yer washed up old man, you had yer time, now its mine!

Burtz did not speak, Rend wondered if he was able too in this state, either way it would not matter now.

As soon as Burtz got close enough to Rend he brought his hammer down with both hands. Rend brought his axe up to meet it at the last second despite being quite large the first Ork Lord was lightning fast. His movements were graceful and his raw strength was more than impressive.

With a quick kick Burtz knocked back Rend, releasing them from their clashing of weapons. He then twisted his arms in bringing his hammer to head level.

Rend dropped down, barely missing the large hammer. Although Rend dodged the hammer his helmet was sent flying, the stained metal crunching in while emitting a horrible crunching sound. Rend was sure that if the hammer had hit him he would have been killed instantly and even perhaps decapitated.

My turn!!!

Rend fought back swinging Gorehowl at knee level, only for Burtz to jump over the blade. Rend responded by stabbing in using the large point on the top of his weapon in a spear-like jabbing motion. Burtz simply smacked down the axe, sending painful waves up the hilt of the weapon, created by pure force meeting solid craftsmanship.

Burtz now took the initiative, swinging his large hammer down like a master blacksmith hammering armor into a uniform design. He landed a blow to Rends shoulder, putting a massive crack in the plate metal. Rend stumbled and fell, the force behind the swing was staggering and despite having several inches of thick armor and chainmail, he was sure his shoulder was on the verge of breaking.

Blood rushed to Rends head, his eyes swelled and his throat tightened. He could hear life rushing through his veins and anger hurrying the pace like a hunter closing in on his prey.

Rend sprung back into action, connecting on a swing to Burtzs chest, producing a loud thud noise on contact. The larger Ork shook it off by returning the favor, landing his own weapon to Rends chest, knocking him down once again. Just like the last time, Rends armor might as well have been made of twigs as It bent under the weight and force of Burtzs hammer. Rend was barely able to bring himself back up. He had never seen such strength. This was not the first time he had been overpowered but it was certainly the first time it was by this much. He could not hope to overpower Burtz he was simply too strong and too focused. Rend had another idea, something he hoped would even the odds.

Oi big boy, if ya want me comen get me.

Rend then did something no Ork would be proud to see him do, but nevertheless he believe it was the only way he got to his feet and ran. Behind him Burtz howled no doubt insulted by Rends actions. The Ork ran in pursuit but Rend had a head start, and his smaller stature was now working in his favor. He ran through the battlefield, zigzagging in between soldiers locked in combat. Burtz was slower but more determined, having no problem with killing both Abomination and Ork alike. Rend ran in order to tire out Burtz, and eventually ambush him. His plan was working perfectly up until something caught Rends attention, enough to make him freeze. Burtz had found someone blocking his way that was more than a push over. It was Grahl, Rends still very wounded prodigy. Burtz, being unable to smash Grahl out of his way, picked up the warrior by his wounded arm, he then proceeded to tear the limb from his body before tossing the rest of the Ork to the ground with incredible force.

GRAHL!!! Rend turned back and charged. For the first time since he could remember he had abandoned his plans. His strategy was now irrelevant, no no longer cared for anything but revenge now this was personal.

Rend charged back, intentionally allowing Burtz to block his attack. When the two locked weapons Rend twisted his arms as hard as he could sending both weapons to the ground. Burtz instinctually went to rearm himself by reaching for a weapon tied to his belt, but Rend landed a punch just under his helmet, revealing his battle-worn face.

Burtz may be the better warrior, and the stronger Ork but Rend was a better brawler and he knew none who could match him with fist-to-fist combat. Burtz returned with a left hook, landing on Rends cheekbone, causing a spurting of blood upon impact. Rend, still undeterred fought back with a combo of two stiff jabs and an uppercut as fast as he could. Burtz showed the first sign of damage, his chin now swelled from Rends three consecutive blows. But the Ork was skilled and he did not lose a step, coming back with a vicious body shot, landing in the exact spot where Rends armor was now the weakest, in the chest. Burtz then went in with a hammer fist to the side of Rends exposed head, dazing him immediately. Burtz then grabbed Rend by the back collar of his breastplate before bringing a small dagger out of his waist. Burtz pressed the dagger to Rends throat.

Rend was dazed but not dead, his body was breaking, his head was spinning but he would not accept defeat. He would not allow his army to be pushed back, his kingdom fall into disarray and his King to be put into danger. This turn of events was unacceptable. Rend always pictured his death as something with meaning, not something to be noted in a history book, a small mark beside his name with a tiny cross to be placed at the side of some field. This was not the death of a champion, this was how sheep were killed.

Burtz pushed down on his dagger. Rends throat sliced, with a crimson tide spilling out the side of his neck. Rend then kicked back, slamming his armor into the chest of Burtz, causing him to drop the dagger and take a step back.

Rend held his neck with his left arm but struck back with his right. He first landed a thunderous right cross, directly to Burtzs jaw, causing him to spit blood in a large spurt. He swung back but Rend caught his left fist, squeezing down as hard as he could. Burtz now showed pain for the first time in Rends memory of him, going back to when he was a small boy. Rend let Burtz swing with his right arm, but he was able to steer the larger Ork by twisting his arm and not letting his fist free, causing him great pain as well as tremendous frustration. Rend could hear the bones in Burtzs hand grinding and popping as he seethed anger. Rend then released his hand from his neck, releasing the flow of blood once again, a necessary evil. Without delay he struck Burtz with all his might, smashing his face over and over with his free hand. Now certain that every bone in Burtzs hand was broken Rend released it, revealing a twisted mess that once resembled a fist. Now at a great advantage Rend pressed the attack even more, landing punch after punch while easily being able to pass Burtzs defense, consisting of only his right hand. After a good while Rend saw Burtz drop his guard low enough for what he had in mind this while time. He grabbed Burtz by the shoulders before head-butting the larger Ork, dazing him momentarily. Despite this weakness only lasting a few seconds it was more than enough for Rend. He then kicked Burtz in the chest, knocking him down. Rend jumped on Burtz while he was down, pinning his arms under his massive weight, now augmented by his thick and heavy armor. Rend was now right where he wanted to be, unbridled by his opponent and able to strike at will. He struck Burtz without mercy, without holding anything back. When Burtzs face was thoroughly battered he then reached for his short sword, this time he brought his knife to the throat of Burtz.

Were a good leader, a credit to our race but this isnt you old man, this magic must have taken something from you because when I was a youngling you were my hero, I wanted nothin more than to be lik you. I heard the legends and I couldn beat dat Lord Burtz, I ain in his league. So whatever ya ar go back there and dont come back.

He then smashed the short sword so hard through Burtzs neck it broke on the ground behind it, leaving the pieces deep in Burtzs throat. Blood hit Rend in the face, blurring which blood was his and which was his opponents. At this point it mattered little, the deed was done. Despite winning the fight Rend was still bleeding profusely from his neck, but he had no time to stop, he kept fighting with the small short sword that he used to kill Burtz with, with his axe nowhere to be found. This would be a glorious battle, if it was only just beginning.

Tao's body must have felt the power of the little beast then, for it turned wholely to face the critter for the first time and Tao's eyes focused on the little beast in a mixture of terror and regret; "Beast, prepare yourself!"

Tao's arms rose to shoulder level, for every inch they rose the earth shook more and more violently, by the time his arms were at shoulder height the earth was shaking so much that buildings were crashing in on themselves and the rubble that lay around the city of Unu'keth was bouncing off of the surface of the earth as if it were a bouncy-castle. It was obvious to all already that Tao was about to unleash an attack of supreme strength, with two blinks of his eyes Tao's body created two clones and one darted towards Faolin whilst the other darted towards Tillion whom was almost done catching his breath.

The air around Unu'keth had, within mere seconds, become hazy and distorted by the sheer magical presence in the air making it hard to see clearly in front of you. The world seemed to bend and twist, molding the simplistic of things like a ruined wall into a titanic monolith of dark impressions. In life Shang Tao had never used so much magic so openly before, though that's not to say he couldn't have, rather Tao had refrained to doing so because of the highly dangerous potential repercussions of releasing this much magic in preparation for charging attack. One slip of his mental preparations, one stray spark of lightning too near to Tao when he was charging, even something as frivolous as someone teleporting behind him and...Only the Gods knew what would happen.

That being said whatever attack Shang Tao had in store appeared to need some time to charge up, so for the time being Unu'keth was only subjugated to a rather hefty earthquake...

---

M was a highly skilled sensory mage and he sensed the attack early enough that he wasn't taken completely off guard, he raised his eyes to the sky just in time to see the barrage of ice-needles fall to earth. His sword moved like a blur as he darted to a thro, cutting many icicles in half and dodging countless more. He couldn't risk pausing even for a moment to use his eye to escape the attack, nor was his eye ready to spew more black fire just yet, physical movement was all he had in him at the moment.

And yet, for all M's skill and speed he was not skillful nor fast enough to dodge and strike all of the spikes, one grazed his right shoulder and caused him to grunt in pain and close his eyes for a half second, in that instant a second spike took him right through the right shin and pinned him to the floor. He managed to cut the last of the spikes in half, granting himself enough time to slash the lower half of the icicle that pinned him as to free himself, he limped onward as he tried to find the caster of the spell within the mass of destruction around him...

-

The fiery tornado hit the huge mountain of Balom's face directly causing it to lose shape and half-disintegrate as some of the sand was reduced to mere atoms by the intensity of the flames, and yet half a minute later Balom's face was regrowing as the sand continued to pile up.

-

There was a flash of movement to Shilor's right and then suddenly there was a lean figure standing next to him, sword on shoulder and an unsmiling face that regarded Balom with due interest; "Two heads are better than one, no matter the size."

"You take out as much sand around the centre of the head as possible and I'll do the rest, the key to killing this thing is in destroying it's core, taking out the sand itself is useless." Shino knew what he was talking about when it came to Demons, you didn't get to be the God of the underworlds second in command without knowing a thing or two without demons...

*The little beast, seemingly completely unphased and unimpressed by this display, continued his work in silence.

The final glyph was done, it was a moments work. He placed the last glyph onto its now hovering companions. Then, the little beast spoke. As always, the mass of tentacles it called a mouth did not move, a deep voice simply seemed to resonate up from somewhere. *

" Sever, seal, expel. Begone from this world, necrophage, I sever you from your body, seal your soul from the necromancer's touch, and and expel you from the realm of the living! " *With that, the tiny fist of the little beast punched the floating pile of a bricks, and a great beam of light shot forth as they exploded, more than likely going to hit Tao right in the chest.

If it worked, and if Tao was not prepared for it, the spell would do exactly was was foretold. Tao would be disconnected from his body, sealed away, and banished from the earth. The first segment of this was accomplished by literally detaching the brain from the spine. *

The attack was fast as fast can be, but Tao's defenses were luckily faster.

All of the gathered energy around Unu'keth swirled into the air in front of Shang Tao, along with a hefty amount of magic that Tao had gathered within his own body for his up coming attack, in the form of a blinding white kite-shield several feet thick. The shield was formed from pure magic, condensed to such a level that it might even have stopped a stray bolt from the masterbolt, though a direct strike would surely shatter it.

At the same time behind his magical shield Tao curled his body somewhat and placed his forearms together in front of his face as a strange secondary defense. His body seemed to know that in theory any blast of magical energy in a physical manifestation, no matter the strength, should be made utterly redundant by his Stygian curse, yet it also seemed to feel the need to defend itself in case the worst should happen.

The blast impacted upon the shield and Unu'keth was consumed by the resulting light-flash, and the explosive sound that the impact made was enough to knock a grown man off of his feet a hundred yards away.

When the dust cleared Shang Tao remained as he had been before the attack was fired, though he was smiling to himself now. The beast may not have hit Tao with his attack, but it had granted Tao hope that he was not going to slaughter everyone here. That shield had cost him a good deal of his magic, nothing so large that he would not still be a large threat, but enough that his body wouldn't be able to throw around top-level spells willy-nilly any longer and that was enough to spark some hope in him.

His smile vanished when his arms extended to his side once more and suddenly a figure appeared in either hand. In his right hand Shang Tao held the struggling figure of Faolin, and in his left he held Sir Tillion, his hands tightened to the point where both men let out croaks of pain and their faces went red almost instantly.

In a voice not at all his own Shang Tao called out to the clearing mist; "Left or right, one must die little beast for your efforts you may decide which." The voice was cold and merciless, the sound of it would remind Tourivil of a certain all-encompassing mental force he had battle quite recently..

*The little beast shook its head sadly. It flapped its little wings, and propelled its flabby body to eye level with Tao. As the beast's myriad eyes focused on Tao, it spoke. *

"I care nothing for either of them. Their fates are not my responsibility. Destroying this form is. "

*And with that, the beast created a sever glyph in the air, and shot it into Tao's forehead. More than likely, having used up his defenses, it would shut down his brain. This might save both of them, or it might be too late for both of them.

Frankly, the little beast didn't care. He had no appreciation for moral quandaries, as his task was singular. Literally all he cared about was keeping Tourivil alive. Past that, it did not care. *

(In other words, sorry, that is the only reaction I can do with the beast. )

(It is better to remain in character than to do what you want to do.)

Tao moved as quickly as he had the last time, his left arm moved inwards and the glyph that was aimed for his forehead hit Sir Tillion between the shoulder blades. The Elf's eyes went wide and then he slumped uselessly in the Tao's hand.

Through bleary eyes Tao watched as his body tossed the limp body of Sir Tillion right at the little beast, and then followed up by punching towards the beast with his now free hand creating a rather intense jet of white-flames that were hot on the corpse of Tillion's tail.

Faolin continued to struggle in Tao's right hand, but it was clear that the fight was going out of him with every passing second. For all Faolin's dragon-enhanced strength he was nowhere near strong enough to break Tao's grip, a grip so crushing his mind would not formulate anything close to a reasonable magical escape...

Shilack nodded. He was good at taking orders. He brought the sword about his head swirling it around creating a flame tornado above his own head which he threw downward expecting it to hit Balom directly in the centre.

Shane allowed himself a fist pump of success before creating a second attack. He crouched down placing his hand on the ground. He muttered something and stood upright.

He shouted over to where he could see the injured M searching for him. Hey you! Whats up? You were harder last time you sissy!

M saw Shane and although he had no emotional control there was a part of him deep within that boiled over at the boy's insult, using his eye M moved behind Shane and tried to stab him in the back. It was a basic attack, and one that he had used before in this fight, but gosh darn it was bound to work one time, and that was all he needed...

*In a rather uncaring move, the little beast used a rather large blast of air to send Tillion's body right back at the fist. Then, with a flap of his little wings, he was gone.

For a few seconds, he seemed to really have simply left the fight.

Then, he reappeared, diving from the sky, he smacked into Tao's head. There was no attack, he simply latched onto his head, and dug in with his little claws. The tentacles around his mouth wrapped around his head, snaking into his eyes and nose as they found grips. Two long tentacles began forcing their way into Tao's ears. *

*Meanwhile, the battered Tourivil forced himself to his feet with a groan...*

Shane tapped the ground with his foot as the sword slid into him. The earth spiked up where M was standing. Taking one for the team Shane knew that if Ms actually stuck his sword into him he wouldnt have enough time to get away before the earth impaled him completely.

Shane was in agony but he managed to swirl into his eye. He reappeared behind M, just as he would be impaled and launched his trident forward into Ms back for a hopefully killing blow

Tao sent Tillion's body to the right with a flick of his left hand, but when the beast landed on his head he dropped Faolin to the floor as both of his hands shot up to wrap around the little beast's frame with titanic strength, doubling down on himself gave Tao that extra bit of reach meaning he could a good grasp on the beasts body, and when he got that grip he squeezed with all his might.

One could wonder if the little beast could actually kill Tao in this manner, if the idea was to rip out Tao's brain then one could also wonder if that were physically possible due to the Stygian curse. Did said curse apply to the vital organs of the affected, or merely the skin itself, Achilles and the others affected by the curse have at times displayed defenses that would suggest that the innards themselves are defended but none of them have ever said conclusively if their organs are indestructible or not. Was every molecule of an affect person's being immortal, or only some, and if so which parts? Just how all-encompassing was this curse exactly? Considering the affected is usually submerged entirely in the river one could assume that their entire being is indestructible without jumping to any huge conclusions.

(The last paragraph is literally me thinking the curse over, I'm at a loss to how far it extends into the body if I'm honest, I shall do some research and come up with a solution.)

-

M didn't have time to react at all, the earth shattered his ribcage and pierced more than a few vital organs, Shane's trident being thrust into him was just overkill really.

His body exploded a half-second after Shane's trident plunged into him..

*The little beast had no intention of trying to rip a brain out, just to get Tao on the defensive. As Tao grabbed onto the little beast, and began to squeeze, the little beast flapped its wings. It flapped them again, and again. Before it should have been possible, Tao and the beast were ten feet of the ground and rising.

The little beast then put into effect stage two. It opened it's beaked mouth, which was pressed right up against Tao's head, and began etching the severing glyph onto the back of his head with a pointed tongue. The beast was also proving rather resistant to crushing damage, it seemed to be able to flex all of the muscles in it's torso very hard, turning it more or less into a little barrel.

Meanwhile, on the ground, the staggered Tourivil was dredging up magic to fire of some kind of spell at the airborne Tao. *

Shane had heard about the bodies exploding. Tartarus hed spotted one doing so earlier. As soon as his Trident was in he let go off the thing and swirled into his eye once more. He reappeared at the edge of the battlefield. His legs didnt support him this time, not that he expected them to, and he fell forward onto the grass blood dripping from his soaked robes.

There was nothing left to throw up so his body settled for feeling even woozier than the loss of blood was meant to make him. The Earth spun around and around. He was losing his grip on all forms of reality. He was tumbling around and around; down and down. His pain became more distant with every moment. He was dying.

Suddenly he felt gentle hands on his body; felt himself be laid down on solid earth. Shane didnt know when he had done so but he suddenly realised his eyes were screwed shut. Cold air hit his chest as someone opened his robes. He winced and groaned as his pain came back to him like a strike from Mjolnir. Shane tried to open his eyes to see who had opened his robe but he could not open his eyes. They felt as if his eyelids had been glued together with industrial strength. A cool feeling washed away the pain and Shane could hear a gentle humming.

Fear not, Shane, I was close at hand for just such a thing. A familiar voice told him as he was healed. Shane still couldnt open his eyes to see but he would recognise that voice anywhere. It was the voice of the calm and wise Uhbo for which he had spent some time of his life with on the road to the Capital.

***

Johan had been correct, as per usual, the first stage of the Occulis Genkais healing abilities required the users eyes to remain closed even if against the users will. Shane was sub-consciously repairing his own Occulis Genkai at the cost of his own sight until it was finished which could take God only knows how long with the state he was in.

It was, in fact, Johan undisguised and frankly a little casually healing Shane. He had mimicked Uhbos voice perfectly and with one hand had healed Shanes wound and restored a necessary amount of blood. The kid was far from fighting fit but neither was he in mortal danger anymore. Johan stood, satisfied with his work, and vanished with a click of his fingers. He had only come to save the chap and now that was done he felt no need to stick around. The boy owed him a favour and until that debt was paid he was more used to Johan alive than dead.

(Another point to Brunty. Strange and Brunty I aplogize but your current fights have progressed much faster than the others and as such I won't be replying at this instant because I need to wait for another post as to even out the flow of battles.)

King Izandi's yell was drowned out by the screams, which in turn were as silent as a whisper when compared to the noise of the huge metal-wrought doors of the palace being blown off entirely of their hinges and sent toppling inwards to crush servant, fleeing guardsmen, and walls alike. The enemy was in the new entryway in an instant, and they were moving through a red mist that could barely be called a defensive line, and all this while the King roared over and over for those unarmed to get through the throne room door which he stood at, his arms flailing wildly as he pushed one after another through the doorway to hurry them on their way.

"Quickly now, get in now! Yes, over here man, now!" He grabbed the last scrambling survivor he could see by the collar and tossed him into the room as best as he could, the man was an Ork and a rather large on at that so the King wasn't exactly able to lift him off the ground or anything. As King Izandi crossed the threshold and closed the door behind him he heard and saw the last of his household guard fall as his throat was ruptured rather violently with a single effortless click from the leader of the invading army.

With a wave of his hand King Izandi activated the defensive wards placed on the throne room door, which burst into life in the form of a dozen or so interlocking glyphs that moved around the surface of the door like insects trying to find a way to escape from the surface. The King himself had not placed the ruins, he had simply used what little magic he had at his disposal to activate them as he had been prepared to do in case of situation such as this.

He was still in shock, by the grace of the Gods he had never in his wildest dreams imagined that he would be taken by surprise so bluntly as he had just been. All his caution, his wits and his best scouts had been made redundant by what was quite a simple tactic really, if he wasn't busy fleeing for his life he was sure he would be feeling shame right now.

The men atop the walls of Sardo had spotted the standard of Lord Blightly at the head of a rather large group of soldiers that had been approaching the city for some time, when the King was informed of this he had the gates unsealed and had a small honor-guard sent to meet Lord Blightly at the gates of Sardo to make him welcomed.

What exactly had happened when his envoys had met Lord Blightly at the gate the King did not know, all he had to go on was the frantic babbling of an eye-witness that described the scene to him rather hurriedly as the King was ordering his honor-guard into their positions. From what he could tell though they had been deceived, Lord Blightly's banner had been stolen by an unknown enemy force and they had used it, and magical cloaking to disguise themselves as regular Sardonian soldiers led by a mounted Lord Blightly, to gain entry to the city, after which they drew their swords, dropped their cloaking, and began cutting every man, women and child in sight to ribbons, as well as throwing around magic like there was no tomorrow. Whoever was leading this force was smart, and quite knowledgeable if they were able to mislead the magical sensors of the King's honor-guard long enough to actually get into the city, and perhaps just as disturbingly the man may not have actually been Lord Blightly but it was painfully obvious from the eye-witness report where he had scavenged those banners from.

Along with the banners, bearing the hightower of house Blightly, the leader had appropriated one other article that had once belonged to Lord Blightly, a rather personal article at that, which now dangled at the man's hip. Blood-stained and hideously marred by battle, it remained instantly recognizable as the severed head of one Lord Barristan Blightly. The Lord's face was twisted in a mixture of pain and anger, and yet his eyes were as calm as any pond, his hair had been tied into a knot and it was that by which he was strapped around the leader's belt.

The enemy had swept across the city, slaughtering what little resistance the remaining guardsmen of Sardo could give them, and leaving no survivors in their wake as they set the city ablaze with fires both magical and of common nature. Half the city was ablaze before the King even knew what was happening, his palace doors were closed at once and all those who had managed to get inside the palace in time were being lead towards the palace room for emergency evacuation via teleportation when the enemy had reached the palace gates, and found no resistance in them.

Four Threllos stood, hands interlocked, with their eyes closed at the far end of the throne room preparing the mass evacuation of everyone in the room, which was close to two hundred people of both noble and low birth.

The crowd was screaming and crying out, far too large a crowd for the throne room to hold with any morsel of comfort, especially when half of the people were running around madly trying to find some physical exit to escape by. Even the King's shouts would not quell their fear, and nor he saw would the frantic pleas of the young Demigods new wife whom was near the throne herself, yelling at the crowd uselessly. All four Threllos were rank 2, but the surprise by which they were ordered to perform such a hefty teleportation meant that they had little time to prepare, and concentrating on getting this thing right was pretty difficult in a room of panicking Sardonians.

The King began moving through the crowd, then the first violent rattle of the doors came and drew his eyes back towards it. The throne room door had been prepared for assault by Toun himself, it should in theory be able to hold back all but the strongest mages for quite a reasonable amount of time.

Or so the King was in the middle of whispering to himself when the door exploded inwards, nearly crushing him as it sqaushed quite a few of the men and women to his right, when he turned back towards the door the leader was already through the threshold, and his eyes were trained on the King alone as he moved forward, ordering his men to fan out to either side of him.

The King turned his head towards the Threllos, over the now deafening screams of the crowd he projected his thoughts towards the Threllos; "NOW YOU FOOLS, NOW OR NEVER!"

Alas the Threllos were not ready yet, and the King did not have the time to even turn around again to see how far the attackers had made it towards the crowd before he felt a sharp pain in his gut, that he knew full well was more than just simple nerves.

Using all his willpower the King managed to turn around to see the leader, whom stared at him without mercy with his sword stuck all the way to the pommel through the King's stomach, with the last of his strength the King managed to stutter his final words; "E-E..Er're, why?" And then, not for the first time, King Feldour Izandi died by the sword.

Er're ripped his sword out of the King's body, not taking it backwards as would have been easier, but instead slashing to the side and half-cutting the King's body in half in the process. Flicking the blood from his sword he raised his free hand and pointed towards the crowd with barely any emotion on his face at all; "Leave none alive, they are of no use to us."

His Elves moved forward, with full intent to follow their orders to the letter, but before they could reach any of the others in the room the entire crowd vanished with a loud bang, leaving behind the corpse of their King, the slaughtered remains of his household guard, and a sieged and burning Sardo..

John knew better than to turn around, especially against someone as strong as Jong Jong. That being said, all he did was jump backwards while spinning wildly, his swords a whirlwind of death. He had to be unpredictable, and simply turning around to slash at his opponent would leave him open to an attack, especially from someone as strong as Jong Jong.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

"So kid, how did you find him before?" Jasper asked Fenrir, covering his skin in an electrical skin wave, in the hope it would possibly hold off the acid. He wasn't sure though, and plan B was to just run in one direction and hope for the best.

Having simply jumped backwards John did indeed destroy the clone of Jong Jong, what he didn't do however was attempt to stop the aura-slices heading his way. They were close now, John had about 2 seconds to block them before they cut him pretty much in half...

(Should have technically hit you since you didn't write a reply that blocked them, but since there was no other damage they could have done other than insta-kill I have made that a last warning to all posters. Next attack that should hit, and would insta-kill(On anyone) will hit, and insta-kill.)

---

Fenrir didn't answer, Fenrir didn't even hear the question actually, all his attention was on his right index finger which he had pressed to the floor, his legs bent so that he was close enough. Before him was a black void, the only change in the void was a thousand different lightning bolts rising into the sky, undefined and unrelenting they rose wildly and he could not tell one from another.

As his focus increased the strands of lightning shortened and seemed almost to take rough-human outlines, though it was still impossible to tell one shape from another. This level of electrical-sensory was all he needed for the moment, looking around he saw a mass of electricity to his immediate right which he knew to be Jasper, the only other current that was even remotely close to them was actually not that far away, and getting closer to Jasper than Fenrir liked...

Rising upwards Fenrir's sword became a spear and there was a clink of metal a half-inch above Jasper's head, then a moment later came Nahkaro's voice; "Sorry, I'm moving too fast for me to give you warnings anymore, Fenrir good block."

Fenrir felt the opposing weight lift from his spear, and instantly he retracted his spear and bent double so that he could once more touch the ground with his index finger, at the same time he thought it was best to give Jasper a fighting chance; "I'm sensing his electrical current but I'm pretty sure that's a 'child of Lazarus' only kind of thing, duck!"

Nahkaro was doing a drive-by to Jasper's left, not that the man could hear or see him at all, and was aiming his sword to lop Jasper's head off as he done so. If Jasper ducked in time then Fenrir would take initiate and plant a single foot on Jasper's back and push off of him and into a straight tackle to Nahkaro, this would certainly send Jasper to the floor as well but Fenrir wasn't thinking at all he was simply moving on instinct.

If Jasper didn't move he had more important things to worry about than getting a little muddy, the sword would easily sever his neck. His attempt to counter the acidic mist had done nothing to stop it's affect on its skin, which by now was beginning to feel like it was enveloped in scolding water.

*Fenrir was right about the lighting sensory thing in a way, the fact it came so naturally to him was indeed because he was a child of Lazarus but it wasn't something that was totally unique to the Sky God's children others could learn the skill too, though it took years of intense training to build it to even the level that Fenrir was working at right now. Being a Demigod had its perks at the worst of times, but sometimes the bonuses almost made it worth having a life filled with demons and war...Almost..*

-

Tao never would have thought he would be looking back at his time in the Styx and smiling, he had lived a long and battle-filled life but that had been by far the most painful experience he had ever lived through, and even more painful than what the little beast was doing to him now.

It had felt like his entire being was being ripped apart over, and over again, like his soul itself was being dipped in acid, he could not scream for the water filling his lungs nor could he escape for it's dashing current. It had been suffocating, terrifying and most of all, excruciating beyond imagination.

All the while he knew that if he hoped to survive he had to keep a calm mind, or at least remain conscious of a singular spot on his body which would become his tie to the world of the mortals. Tao was never one to go into anything unprepared and before departing to the underworld to take his little swim he had spent many hours researching the Stygian curse, which he had found out was a scarcely discussed topic even amongst scholars.

When someone receives the Stygian curse they ascend to a new level of being, their body is no longer mortal and cannot be harmed by any mortal means whatsoever. However, for such a being to exist in the mortal world they must remain connected to it somehow, and that somehow has come to be referred to an 'Achilles heel' by the very, very, very few people that understand the Stygian curse enough to know about this little loophole.(Unlike in our world this is not a common phrase so don't start throwing that around in conversation or I'll ask for edits.)

All three of the men whom have entered and exited the Styx have been forced to chose a single weakness on their body, and if this singular weakness was exploited to any degree they would die as any mortal would from a grievous wound. For Achilles the choice was made by his mother when she held all but his heel under the water, Lazarus had made his own choice but what his weakness was was never discovered by any living or dead being, and Tao you might ask? Why, fortunately for our little beast Shang Tao just so happened to pick a place he thought no enemy would ever be able to invade so long as he still had breath in his lungs: the very back of his nose cavity.

He had reasoned that the brain itself was not a wise choice because a lot of mages aimed there first when trying to defeat a powerful foe, the nose cavity however was never targeted because it was not a vital organ therefore he should in theory have escaped any plausible threat. Shielding his nostrils from wide-spread attacks was easy enough, but when the beast directly tried to force his way in Tao's defenses were not great enough to stop it. The first contact that the tentacles made with his weakspot was blinding, and then it was queerly painless for a time.

So, remembering the day he had endured unendurable pain and chosen but a single weakspot with a smile Shang Tao seemed to gather the strength of a God from nowhere and ripped the Little Beast from his head and tossed it away. He doubled over screaming out in pain a moment later, holding his head as if trying to keep it from bursting apart. Fracture lines burned into existence all across Tao's body, spiderwebbing a neat pattern of pure blue light that shone from what could only be described as widening wounds of a magical nature.

The suddenness of this caught Faolin off guard and most likely would have had the same affect on Tourivil and his little beast, though who knew what their reactions would be at anything.

Falling to his knees Tao let out a single blast of a roar and then fell silent, staring up at the sky blankly as the fracture lines faded slowly and seemingly with great reluctance. It appeared that he had died then and there, but a smile crept onto his face a moment later that broke this falsity. It took a moment but Tao's head ceased to be limp as he forced it to do his final bidding.

Regarding Tourivil with a smile Tao dipped his head towards Sir Tillion's battered corpse; "Bury him as a King, he was better than any I knew." and then he was consumed by the sort of explosion that had consumed the bodies of the other fallen. He had intentionally separated the Little Beast from his body in time to make sure it was not harmed by the explosion.

(Another point to Strange, though whether Shang Tao should count as a single point due to his insane strength is open for debate really.)

(Strength is meaningless. It's the will and determination that determines the victor.)

John did have an attack ready for the tentacles. Lifting his hands he wordlessly muttered an attack, one that hit the tentacles head on, bursting them into a sparkling rainbow. "If you can tell me when your body lowers your defences, or has your weakest ones possible, I will try to end your suffering with one attack. Until then, I will do my best to stop you from killing others." John replied, sending a grey smokeball towards Jong Jong. Once touched, it would create a smokescreen.

As his electric skin wasn't doing much, if anything, Jasper decided to get rid of it. He heard Fen though, and ducked under the attack, throwing an arm out to create a spear in front of Nahkaro. If he continued at his speed, it would likely hit him. If Fenrir was going to knock Jasper into Nahkaro though, then it would be useless.

Fenrir did indeed plant a foot on Jasper's back, launching himself through the air but also unfortunately making Jasper face-plant the ground. Sorry Fenrir thought, as he sped towards Nahkaro with both arms extended for the take-down.

At the last possible instant Nahkaro grabbed Fenrir's outstretched wrist and dragged the boy downwards, twisting his entire body to the right of Fenrir as he plummeted to earth. Fenrir managed to break Nahkaro's hold on him with one powerful tug, and half-saved the fall with a shoddy combat roll. His fingers brushed the earth and told Fenrir all he needed to know, Nahkaro was right in front of him now and he wasn't moving yet.

Taking hold of his spear Fenrir willed it to become a sword and swung for Nahkaro's heard, when his sword passed through clean air he stopped it and then swung back the way he had came, this time a little lower, once again he hit air but he heard a slight scuttle as Nahkaro fumbled backwards a little shakier than his usual movement. Grinning Fenrir continued swinging like a mad-hatter

Fenrir pushed Nahkaro backwards with wild swing after swing, simply moving forward with one attack after another so fast and so broadly swung that Nahkaro had no other option than to back pedal. It was a silly tactic and one that would have gotten him slaughtered in a normal fight, luckily this was no normal fight, Nahkaro was as blind to the position of Fenrir's body as Fenrir was. So long as Fenrir pressed Nahkaro constantly the man would have no time to think about his next move, no time to listen and smell and calculate Fenrir's precise position, he knew well enough to dodge each swing but that was it.

His arm felt like it was about to fly right out of the socket with every swing, his chest was filling not with clean air but the burning gas of Nahkaro's mist and Fenrir was sure that he could taste blood in the back of his throat now which could only be a bad thing. His wounds were closed over sure, but only just, and every movement brought a jolt of pain from at least one nick or cut. Most men would have been overcome by the sheer spread of damage done to Fenrir so far, but he was not most men, he was the son of Lazarus, God of battle and war, his body was half God and his will total steel. He would not stop fighting until there were no enemies left to fight, even if it cost him an arm and a leg he would beat Nahkaro, and anyone else who meant to hurt his allies.

Fenrir heard small bumping noise in front of him as he swung his sword back around for an upward slice, he was sure that Nahkaro had not simply tripped over his feet and fallen but he didn't know what else the man could have bumped into to make that sort of noise...

Nahkaro felt a hand take hold of either of his shoulders, and then he didn't feel very much at all except the wind fighting against him as he flew through the air having being picked up and tossed like a pebble. He landed in a tucked roll, outside of his mist, but not his teleportation blocker.

He stared into his mist, wondering what the hell had taken hold of him from behind without him hearing or smelling it at all. Then again Fenrir had been taking most of his attention, so maybe that other kid had had enough time to slip around behind him and attack from behind, or at least that was one possible option.

It did not take long for the cause of his flight to become apparent, half a minute passed and then Achilles strolled out of the corrosive mist whistling a jaunty tune to himself, Fenrir being dragged behind him by one hand and Jasper the other. The two boys looked confused and dazed and Nahkaro quickly worked out that Achilles hadn't taken the time to warn them before he grabbed them by the collar and dragged them out of the deadly mist.

It worried Nahkaro that both boys had spent so long inside the mist, they both looked pretty badly hurt already and he himself was doing alright as far as actual damage went. That being said now that Achilles was here he was sure that things would start going better for the two youths, he knew full well the sort of skill Achilles possessed.

Just as he began convincing himself the three of them would be enough to take him down, Fenrir was snatched by the shoulders once more, this time by a green blur that carried him off through the air at some speed...

It took Fenrir a moment to realize that the creature that had grabbed him was no creature, but Ryuk, though the Ferrock looked as feral as any creature Fenrir had ever laid eyes on.

"Where are we going? Nahkaro is back there, turn around Jasper needs our help!" Fenrir was glad that Ryuk felt strong enough to fight again, but he was confused why he had snatched him up when he could have gotten a sneak attack on Nahkaro or at the very least landed behind him to force him to fight on two fronts.

"That is not your battle any longer my master." Ryuk said impassively; "Your allies are more than enough for that one now, you are needed elsewhere."

"What? Where? I'm needed there, I'm the only one that can beat Nahkaro!" Fenrir began struggling against Ryuk's grip, then realized that they were some sixty feet off of the ground and stopped struggling instantly. He wasn't good with heights, nor fast speeds, and he could feel his stomach churning already.

"Hmph, you're good master but not the best, they shall be fine without you. Your brother will also be getting away from this battle scott-free if you do not see to him before he escapes. You're lucky that one of the mages that fixed me up put a locator spell into my vision so that I can track him still, though even the trail that is visible to me is fading now that his distance has increased so much." Ryuk spoke in his same gruff tone, but it was clear to Fenrir that he was trying to mask the pain in his voice. For all the mages had been able to do, Fenrir guessed that Ryuk had rushed off the moment he could stand, uncaring if he was fully fixed or not.

"Auron." Fenrir said, his face growing serious; "He's leaving the battlefield, but why? His side hasn't lost yet, and he's powerful enough to make a difference, he's not a coward is he?" Fenrir thought many things about his brother, that he was a bastard, that he was immensely power and a little mad, but he did not think him a coward until now.

"No." Ryuk said certainly: "A man like your brother does not flee unless he has an ulterior motive, I know not what it is but it must be important for him to leave the field so suddenly. Now silence, I must focus on flying if we hope to catch up to him."

Fenrir took a deep breath to settle his stomach and then set his sights on the fixed point of the horizon in the hopes that it would help somewhat. Now that he was about of battle he could feel a funny tingle all over his body, like a light electrical charge being injected into him, and he knew almost instantly, and without having to think which was odd, that it was his body going to work healing him. If there was a single thing that Fenrir was most glad to have as a benefit of being a Demigod it was his healing ability, he had seen men go down from wounds that he barely even registered and had heard many a tale of the greatest warriors succumbing to fatigue and wounds sustained only minutes before in the battle that were not serious enough for instant death.

As far as Fenrir could tell, so long as he wasn't stabbed in the heart or decapitated he was going to heal pretty damn quickly no matter the damage. He could feel his skin realigning after receiving quite bad chemical burns inside of Nahkaro's fire, though that's not to say that the burns didn't hurt like hell. His lungs felt better already, a few coughs of worrying blood clumps and he was sure they'd be as good as new. The holes created by Nahkaro's air bullets didn't feel like they were there at ally anymore, but Fenrir was sure that he would have some scars from those for sure, but hey he had scars already a few more couldn't hurt right? He still had the issue of his breastplate being dented and more harm than good, but he was just hoping he would have enough time to remove that before he engage Auron for what he hoped was their final battle...

"I shall do what I can to aid you." Jong Jong said as his aura launched him into the air, avoiding the little grey ball entirely. When he was about sixty feet in the air Jong Jong's aura stopped him by creating two aura-legs that supported his body, the other two aura tentacles shot further into the ground, creating cracks as they broke it's surface.

Not a half minute later the earth by John's feet rumbled, then burst open as two thick aura-tentacles rose from the earth to either side of him. One swept low and in front of him, the other high and from behind, they exact middle point where the two tentacles would brush one another happened to the spot John was standing on.

*Tourivil hobbled hid way to the little beast, who still seemed thoroughly nonplussed. Tourivil simply shook his head, and scooped up the little monster, who immediately perched on his shoulder. He then walked over to Faolin, and gave him a long, sad look. *

That could have gone better.*He stated simply to the battered dragon rider. *
