Yes. Brunnex said I apologise that you found my mortal flaw. No-one will be doing so ever again. As we speak I am working on my mind barriers. You will not be tearing my face up again any time soon. Brunnex answered somewhat peeved However I must agree. I see why he would want a non-magic round but did he also have to put the best enemies in it? If it had been a magic round we could have truly saw, at the very least, some extent of power.

You should really see about getting some training, Fenrir, or you wont last long. Shang said with slight frowns of worry on his face.

Fen leaned back slightly as he walked, bringing his hands to rest on the back of his heads, his elbows sticking outwards; "Well, I can't afford proper training if I need to pay... Unless you teach me?" Fen shrugged; "Other than that I don't know where I'd get training at all."

---

"Sorry about that again.

Though I think that by the time the non-magic round came around the king had grown irritated by the fact his men had not beaten a single one of us.

Though I admit a second round with the same difficulty but with magic would have been nice. Though I presume he thought most of us would agree for the grand champion round, thus letting rip more of our power."

"Ha, gathering intel, thats good." John told the elf, walking towards the guards. "That the kings knows I'm should tell you something, and I for one know too many secrets to not wonder. But alas, I am an old man mumbling on. As long as the king knows that fighters in his tournament helped save the people of Dale, giving him a few dead dragons for armour and shields in the meantime, then my job is done." With his back turned from the elf, John was on edge, waiting for something to happen.

"If you could elf, please ask the King if he'd have a chat with me,for some private problems and solutions. I have a feeling we both know much about the other."

*Tourivil seemed to think about it for a second. He then gave a half hearted shrug. He seemed to have stopped listening. He then spoke.*

I can feel the forest. We are getting close. I would not be surprised if someone recognized me, and we revived a welcoming par-

*Tourivil was interrupted by a loud bang as Sebath appeared before them. Saying that Sebath had been twisted by his magicks, and the writings of strange, would be an understatement. The Threllos had large, rectangular sections of bandage attached to his torso and arms, soaked with blood. He had been inserting amplification stones into his flesh. Blood seeped from around his eyes, his teeth had turned into fangs. He had a rather large growth on his back, no doubt a blood storage unit of some sort, which was covered by a bone plate. A simple robe was draped around his bent frame. His voice was little more than a snarl. *

"Tourivil, I see you have returned from your long trek. No doubt you will want to rest in the forest? "

*Tourivil's brow furrowed. *

Strange is indeed dead then.

*The monster known as Sebath seemed taken aback. *

"So you heard, even in your travels? Yes, it is very unfortu- "

*Tourivil cut him off. *

No, I did not hear, but I know that he would have never allowed self mutilation amongst his pupils. You are an abomination, Sebath.

*Sebath then gave a wicked grin, leering at Tourivil. *

"Ahh, poor Tourivil, you do not know. Strange himself was an abomination. He was never born, he was built. In the new forest, only a few old bags like your self and Jan don't modify. After all, if Strange was an abomination, isn't the best way to become as great as he was to be one too? Welcome home, Tourivil. "

*Tourivil stared blankly for a moment. Unable to comprehend the words that had been said to him. Slowly, his face began to turn red. His anger building up. Sebath simply began to laugh. Sebath was immensely stronger than Tourivil, there was little comparison. But when Tourivil was angry, he seemed to, swell, for lack of a better word. He lashed out, and simply teleported Sebath elsewhere. He absolutely should not have been able to do this. But he did. After a moment, he caught his breath, and forced his anger away. He didn't speak to his companions for a moment. *

We aren't going to the forest. *He stated simply. * Does either of you know the way to the tomb?

Yes, I am sure I do. Brunnex answered Tourivil quietly and calmly. It is this way. He said and lead the merry band away from the forest.

It was not far until they saw the small hill with the stone structure atop it. Brunnex stopped and pointed at the distant structure That is where I believe Strange rests. Brunnex said.

"No, his royal highness is busy rebuilding his city. You may speak to an advisor, that's the best your getting." The elf did not seem pleased, but John had a right to at least some form of council; "And trust me, the advisors know as much about people liike you as the king does."

John stopped, his foot still in the air. It was like someone had frozen time. Slowly he turned his head, then twisted his body. His foot followed and slowly John turned around, facing the elf. "People like me? If they know little of todays events, then I can assume other things. Hmm, why not. I'll talk to an advisor. Maybe they'll know as much as I.

John was, forcibly, teleported into small dark room somewhere near the western edge of Sardo(City.). All that was held in the room was a single table and two high backed chairs, a small candle sat in the centre of the table giving a small blotch of illumination to the room.

"What is it you wish to discuss?" A Threllos appeared from nowhere, sitting on the seat. He wore fine purple robes and helped a quill and paper ready to make notes.

The the duo travelled the rest of the day(I think we were day whilst everyone else is night so I fixed the issue.) talking somewhat. Though mostly about stupid things, weather-talk really.

Fen stopped, they were in the middle of nowhere on a long cliqued dusty road; "We should set up camp a little ways of the road, its getting dark."

After being teleported, a minute second before the threllos appeared, John looked around. That elf was a sneaky bastard. Definatly an assassin. John didn't trust assassins that didn't belong to his group. Right now, he was back in his white robes with the staff.

"What do I wish to discuss?" He mused, mostly to himself. He paused for a moment, waiting a few second for the threllos to think about replying before continuing. "Well as I would've spoken with the king, I am assuming you know about the assassins, and the threat that both groups can have against the kingdom."

"The king has under his control an army of hundreds of rank 2 Threllos, and many hundreds more weaker ones. Every clan of the Dwarven empire, The great Ork army of Orkonaso and to top it off a royal army the likes of which hasn't been seen in generations." The Threllos looked at John as one would a fly; "To sum it up, your little group isn't a problem.

Now, does this lead somewhere?" The Threllos was typically Threllosian, a total dickhead.

----

"No...I've sort of been using what little money I have to sleep in towns." Fen smiled apologetically.

"Well I know my group isn't an army that could contend with the king, but does he know the other group of Assassins, which you seem blind to, are not only massing an army, but they are after The Amber Scrolls. With them, they have the ability to not only resurrect their long dead leaders, but to tie them to the earth forever.

I know how to stop them, but unfortunatly, King Izandi has decided to not tell me their location." He stopped, leaning forward and looking the Threllos in the eye. "On my own, I could decimate your rank two and one threllos army, but I would die. If this group, the Dark Assassins gets their hands on these scrolls, Not even the combined might of the threllos, the orks and the dwarves could stop them. Now you may think I'm bluffing, but tell me, have there been any odd deaths lately?"

Shang smiled in the way he always did before he was about to show off Youre lucky Im here. He said with a smile and with a purposefully lazy-looking flick the very earth around a spot some ways from the road rose out of the earth in the shape of two tents. Once they had formed they shimmered and, in an instant, turned into actual tents of canvas. Next a ring of stones formed from the earth and, in the centre, a flame rose as if someone had flicked on a lighter underneath it.

Done. He said with a smile read for praise.

"Toun would decimate you, your army, and the entire other assassin guild on his own." The Threllos's eyes grew steely as he stated this fact, Toun was of course one of two Rank 1 Threllos in existence; "Now, stop this bullshitting and get to the point.

You want to know where the scrolls are, correct?"

---

Fen looked at the camp site in amazement, he offered Shang a High-five in a rather childish display; "Nice man! You're pretty awesome."

Fen smiled as he followed Shang over, he swung around a small pack on his bag; "Its only a few wedges of cheese and some bread, its not much but it should do us until we reach the temple."

Fen tossed Shang a half-load of bread and a small chunk of cheese, he smiled as if to say "Yummy" and then began eating his own supper.

---

"No they don't." The Threllos stared blankly at John.

"So, you expect the king to tell you where the scrolls is so that you, the ex-leader of one assassin guild, can go and take them from another guild." He stared at John for a further moment; "You realise how stupid you sound don't you? What part of this benefits the king, if he thought these scrolls were dangerous he would deal with them himself."

---

The elf lead Rend and his men straight to the palace, through the doors and past the guard and straight to the throne where the king sat doing approximately nothing important at all. He looked rather bored really.

He rose from his throne as Lord Blackflame entered; "Ah, you came quickly! Please, have a seat."

There was heavy scraping as a chair was pushed across the stone floor by a large guard, a series of whom stood at the sides of the room. Said chair was put a few feet in front of the king's throne.

I don't know if the king has dealt with them himself, but if he does give them to me, then I can guarantee loyalty to the king. After all, he has forgiven me of any crimes I have committed, so I am merely repaying that trust. After all, I know where they are, and who they plan to bring back. This Toun threllos, he wouldn't stand a chance against them.

and it is not stupid, trying to save this kingdom when it's king won't help. There are only four people alive who can read it, and I doubt he can. If he gives me the scrolls, then I can show him the power they hold, and he can have eternal life.

"If Toun doesn't stand a chance, then your guild is a hopeless cause in this plight then isn't it?" The Threllos was quick to reprimand John about his thoughts on Threllos.

"If you know where they are then what is the problem?" The Threllos looked at John strangely, that is what the man had just implied after all.

"As for eternal life, those scrolls won't grant it without a drawback. If the king wished eternal life he would seek it elsewhere." This threllos seemed to simply enjoy shutting John's ideas down, that and the fact that John's case was shaky at best to begin with.

Tour doesn't stand a chance against the leaders, should they get the scrolls, which apparantly they nearly have. As for eternal life, I don't know for sure, but I've heard roumers it's a life for a extra life." He told the threllos, his voice calm and sinsire. "You may know where we are stationed, but you don't know everything, do you. I'll bet on my life you don't know anything about the blood hand. They know where to find these assassins, and if the king won't help, then they'll find it." John finished, leaning back

"It's either that, or I tell Sin about his true father." He added, grinning like an evil mastermind.

"Attempt it and I'll blow you up myself." The Threllos narrowed his eyes, he raised his right hand and clenched his fingers together to illustrate his point.

"This meeting is over, if these leaders are as strong as you say. So strong they can defeat Toun, then you are useless. As is your entire group."

The Threllos stood; "It was truly a pleasure proving the rumours that the famed Shadowfoot is nothing more than a blundering old fool." The Threllos continued to hold his fingers up towards John, he wasn't kidding. If John made a move to do the action he said he would, he would die. If the Threllos proved to weak then the others would not.

"Now, have fun collecting these scrolls that you already know the location of. Quite frankly the true intention of this meeting stil eludes me but I have indulged an old man enough.

Leave now, I would be most happy if you teleported yourself outside of this building. The room door is magically set to explode should anyone attempt to open it, so going that way isn't wise." The Threllos smiled for an instant, then his serious face returned as he pushed his fingers together slightly more in preparation to blow the aforementioned Assassin to bits.

Everyone knows about the assassins here, in the land of Sardo.
Rumors says that from a far land over the seas, over the oceans and beyond the great plans there was a small village where a man lived. He was 5.9 feet high but nobody knows what race did he belonged to.
-Why?
that was a frequently asked question, here in an inn, that hasn't got a name, only people who had
bad business went there.Yes it was in Sardo, in an alley.
The rumors said that the man always wore a black hood and nobody has seen his face yet. They said
he was an assassin. He didn't had a name, people started to call him nameless, or The Stranger.
The story went on:
-They say he is planning to come here, to Sardo.
-What did he want
Asked someone nervously.
-We don't know, but may the gods protect the victim who is followed by nameless.
The bartender served the next drink that everything went to silence.
That night nobody could sleep, and they didn't even know, that at that moment The Stranger was sneaked past the borders of Sardo....

John did disappear but not because he teleported away. John suddenly found himself on a beach. It was a pleasant beach of white sand and turquoise sea. A palm tree stood framed in the distance. The only sounds were the gentle lapping of the waves on the beachhead and distant call of seagulls.

John found his magical powers inhibited to the extreme. However he could think freely. It just seemed as if he were out of magic. Obviously this place was affecting him somehow or was it not this place but a being of great power doing it?

A head suddenly appeared above the water some distance away. The head bobbed up and down as it walked out of the ocean its body slowly revealing itself as he walked. It was a man or appeared to be at the very least. This man was recognisable to John who had seen him once or twice as mortal. However Brun had changed much since then. He had grown a gray-streaked goatee, acquired grey-streaks to his head hair and gained ultimate knowledge of the Universe.

He wore nothing but a simple rubber-like pair of pants around his middle. As he walked out of the water he smiled. His skin had a watery shine as if constantly wet. He clicked his fingers and he was suddenly adorned in regal red robes.

Ah, John, it has been many years since we last conversed. I apologise for how rude I was then. Hasty and mad are my only justifications and justify they do not. Brun said.

Ah, I inherited the great and mighty God Titanic who held dominion over chairs. Would you like a seat? He paused after the question with a frown and added. Oh dear, I was being boastful again wasnt I? It does not do; it certainly doesnt. Brun seemed a lot more loopy this time than when he had appeared to Brunnex. Perhaps he did not take this trip quite as seriously or perhaps he was just in one of those moods. Who could tell?

***

Shang sat down next to Fen and helped himself to a hunk of cheese Thanks, Im starving. I could catch some animals some time but this place doesnt look very abundant. He said this with a mouth full of cheese sure Fen could understand him in the way that children seem to be able to understand those with full mouths.

The slightly reddish pidgeon flew through the slightly reddish night sky, its slightly reddish wings flapping frantically as the largely reddish beast tore through the sky only metres behind.

To sum things up, everything was pretty red.

This of course had an overly simple reason, Through Erda's eyes everything appeared a slight red tinge. Though most humans would shake their heads at it being described as slight.

Any hint of red was miraculosly light, as if they had flood-lights brightening them at all times. Whilst everything else appeared to be dull and bland, with a tinge of red but otherwise their natural colours. Add on to this that Erda's eyes were sharp enough to pinpoint a farm mouse running through a corn field, whilst flying a hundred feet above said corn field, added up to Erda's eyesight being pretty unique.

Now, back to the chase.

Erda's giant wings slatted the sky as they flapped furiosly after this small bird. Sure, Erda was faster but it was a tricky thing to maintain the same speed as the Pidgeon since it flew so very slowly, Erda roared and the poor thing tweeted(?) and flew to the right sharply.

Erda hummed in delight as he snapped forward, catching a tail feather but ripping it out, the bird escaped hurt but not dead yet. "Yet." Erda hummed under his breath, of course this was in his head.

He did so enjoy the hunt, mostly because he knew he was the biggest, baddest, bossest animal out there. He was king of the jungle, king of the sky, king of the plains and king of the se...Well he wasn't too good in water, but that didn't matter. The fact of the matter is, he ruled!

He flapped his wings a little harder than the rythym he and the bird had set in this chase, the bird couldn't match the speed increase and soon found itself a new home.

It was a lovely place, well heated and quite comfortable really. He had quite a few neighbours but not many like to talk to him very much, a house-side pool as well. This sure was bird-heaven!

Of course the heat was given off by Erda's fire gland which was located near the stomach, the neighbours were the decaying corpses of other eaten animals ergo why they didn't talk much and remember that house-side pool? Well, as it turns out its actually Erda's highly acidic stomach acid. Too bad, what a shame!

Erda soared through the skies some more, wondering if he could see any more fun to be had...

----

Fen nodded as he shoved some bread into his mouth; "That would be awesome." He then began to finish his mouthful before speaking again; "I haven't seen that many animals so far on my travels actually... Who knows, maybe I wasn't looking very hard.

Animals are everywhere. Ones big enough to eat are rare out here. There are many in some of the greater forests of Sardo. Shang replied wolfing down the cheese. Boy was he hungry.

Shang closed his eyes and breathed deeply. He did so for many minutes ignoring his growling stomach. He sent tendrils of magic out into the world. He felt several tingles as he found some living beings unfortunately the best he could find was a rabbit hole some ways left of where he sat. He was hungry though and there were two rabbits there so it was worth a shot.

Shnag got up and moved over to where he had felt the beings soon coming across a hole in the ground. He crept up to it placing a magical one-way barrier over the hole. He could put things in but nothing could escape. He erected himself fully and reached to a pouch by his side grabbing a handful of white powder which he threw nonchalantly down the hole and closed his fist the powder exploded into fire toasting the two rabbits which he promptly collected and brought back to Fen putting them down on the grass.

Do you know how to prepare rabbit? Shang asked somewhat nervously now I can cook the meat but I ont know how to, err, skin or debone it.
