I've been back and forth a few times. Saving moneys a lot easier when you live with your parents.
First place of my own was uni halls, but they were by far the best halls I've ever seen and full of international students so pretty decent really, aside from the whole building being overrun by mice.

Personally feel like society puts too much pressure on people to move out too young, a lot of peeps just end up in big debt or stuck working a shite job just to afford rent. No problem whatsoever living with the rents if you behave like an adult. i.e. you shouldnt be mooching or having your laundry done etc

If you're not paying market value for your rent, plus bills, plus food, you're mooching.

If you were doing all that, you wouldn't be able to 'save money a lot easier', so you've just admitted to mooching.

funny how the internet discounts real life experiences as "trolling"
Probably cause most people on here never lived.
Moved out at 17 in NC, USA, (got kicked out for selling weed and my prescribed xanax) lived in my car for a few weeks selling weed and working at Wendy's. I'm half Guatemalan so I applied for Guatemalan citizenship realizing I couldn't cut it in the US without college, and would have it better in Guatemala anyways. Beautiful ladies, beautiful beaches.
Saved up $4,000, already had $7,000. Got citizenship accepted (Dual citizenship, by blood descent)
Bought a plane ticket, bought a crappy beach house for 70,000 Quetzales (About 9000 US dollars)
Been living the life ever since. Age of majority is 16 here I can drink smoke go to clubs whatever, I'm still 17 waiting to enlist in the military. Growing and selling fruit that was already in the property to get by. Tutoring kids my age and college kids in English.
Man I love the beaches here.
And it's only about 75 cents per hour in the internet cafe

Because I'm smart I can't buy my own computer or they'll think I'm rich and rob/kidnap me haha, so I play TC at the cafe.
Can't really party like you'd suggest, I'm 17 with an american accent in a very dangerous country.
The price of freedom
There's nothing wrong with enjoying torn. I have ALOT of free time, I'm basically retired already ^_^

So, you're happy to support a capitalist structure when it benefits you directly then?

Hypocrite.

Im gonna call bullshit on that. 1) its not freedom if you have to restrict yourself. 2) if your American, computer or no computer, they allready assume your rich & have plans, or at the very least "have discussed" kidnapping you.

Your rite about nothing being wrong with enjoying Torn. It is a fun lil time killer. But for my preference, if i was in a location as you describe, i sure as hell know what i'd be doing instead of wasteing 1 lil milli second on this bullshit.
