My connection is about 3mb down and 60 ping . When I turn on my computer for 2 hours or more my speeds drop to 0.50mb and 300 ping . Even when every device in the house is off its still shit slow . Then for like 3 days often my connection will still be running at this speed . My Internet usage is unlimited and there is no speed capping , does anybody know what's wrong ?

Your fan is probably blocked by dust and gunk, it causes the CPU to overheat, a temp solution is to turn your PC off and find the fans outlet, put your lips to it and give it a good old fashioned blow job. Short term it will work but to be honest if that is the problem you'd need to take it apart and clean it with nail varnish remover (or any alcohol based fluid) and cotton buds

Sell your PC and get a Galaxy S4 or iPhone 4S.

I also had internet connection with unlimited download package. But its only problem was you can't use it in office hours(8am-12am and 2pm-6pm) and it'll reach its max limit only during 1am-6am.

It could be just getting congested. Is it being pumped in through a line or are you using a Vodaphone or another phone company's Mondem wirelessly?

Try connecting your computer directly to your modem. See if that does anything.

Is it Over Wifi or Cabled to the router?

if its Cabled..maybe time to get another one.

Got a smart phone? (Android or Apple) Install Speedtest on it and check whether the speeds are any higher.

Or you could just use a can of compressed air instead of sexually assaulting the pc works much better.

I used to have a slow internet connection. I had an old cabled router, but recently upgraded to WiFi & switched provider.
But yeah, my old router used to be slow, then after a few hours it got very hot & went slower. Combined with an extremely slow computer, it was a bitch...

Download, if you can, Auslogics duplicate file finder and registry cleaner. They're free. I use them with the disk defrag they have once a week and my pc stays fast. My pc is about 6-7 years old and I can play some graphics heavy games with my 10 year old nvidia card.

25 Mb = 3.125 MB.

Not bad. I have a 15 Mb connection.

Depends on how good of a router you get Hades. I have the WRT54GL with Tomato Firmware on it and it has yet to drop any connection. It will last me a few years.

The internet uses megabytes (MB), e.g., "this file you're downloading is 8 megabytes".
Internet Service Providers advertise in megabits(Mb), e.g., "you'll get 8 megabit fibre optic broadband with BT".
A megabit is 125 kilobytes, and a megabyte is 1024 kilobytes; hence 25Mb is 3.125MB.

Oh...
That means Grk has 1.83 MBPS(2MBPS) and hades has 3.2 MBPS.
Now I knew the difference between Megabyte and Megabit.

Thanks LSD .
