Worked there for 3 whole days, until I realised it was a pretty shitty job..
In the Netherlands they make you buy more than 3,30 and then they'll give you 50% discount.

^ 2 of my friends worked there when they left school and it's not all you can eat it's more a basic well.. lunch, still not good for you.. but i guess when you work at McDonalds it would put you off eating it, i know it would me.. either eating it to much or just seeing how it's made and thinking yeah... i'm alright. I eat out quite a bit but eat McDonalds maybe 2 times a year thankfully.

Or you know, you could do something productive like explain why the food is so f**king unhealthy and encourage people to improve their diets.

Why would you want to do that? If they're so stupid they can't work it out for themselves, they deserve the diabetes and heart disease.

I thought it was a fairly common right of passage for unemployable young teens to take their first job at McDo. I know dozens of people who had that as their first job experience. Whatever you think of the company, they have training down to a science, and it can teach some valuable job skills (ie: importance of punctuality, pride in how you present yourself aka:hygiene, responsability, etc). These, while laughable to most folks in their mid twenties and up, are things often lacking in those with no real job experience to speak of.

There's no shame in working a job for your money. You're working to improve your situation, no matter what the job, nor where.

I dunno, maybe you'd be intelligent enough to realise that intelligence and knowledge are different things, and that not everyone who goes to places like macdonalds is actually stupid.
Or you could continue walking round with that stick up your arse, but it will eventually splinter and that'll be no fun for you.

Hear, hear.

My Uncle used to work for McDonalds as a store manager. From what I've heard from him, there's actually some pretty good opportunities there if you don't mind working hard.
