Hope that's a joke.

Either way, the great thing about Lincoln is the lack of absolutely everything. Enjoy your stay.

I'm a current student, alhough finishing this year (hopefully). One thing Lincoln has got is...SWANS!!!!!!

Being a mature student, I'm prob a bit...ahem...older than you, but I've been in Lincoln for over 10 years now, and while it can't compete with the social life of the 'big' cities like London, Leeds etc. it's still a nice place to be!

Oh yeah, lots of good looking ladies (although I'm sadly old enough to be their dad...sigh)

Tbf the night life looks alright, theres something on every night and lincoln is designed around students which is good

It's not designed to run a business you fool, its to help you become... wait for it... a manager...! :0 Shocking! You can take electives to do entrepreneurship if you please which is helpful if you want to set one up. Now go troll somewhere else.

A manager lmao... Stupid it's easy to become an manager you can learn by playing business simulation games or if you want to be a manager at a retail place just be good at your job and work there for 6 months to a year and get promoted or if you want to be a manager at a job that requires skills you can't do that just off a business degree you have to actually have the skills, so you can get that just by hard work. Your chances of becoming a manager is slim to none though because you can't even manage your own life!

I know a few people who have done degrees in business management and it has taken them straight into work. At a higher level than they could go into work without the degree and it helps them develop themselves faster. Don't be a prick about someones decisions. Just because your life hasn't done the way you wanted it to. Don't try and change the way that people live theirs.

i think snoop has a fair point. i dropped out of school to run my own company.

think about it, no loans. can start company earlier aka more years to make money. youre still young so you have energy to run the ceo position. old people get tired and might fall asleep on the job since its so much work and effort

Exactly. He has no idea what a manager does going to a uni will teach him the basics, wanting to be a manager is a job you learn more based on experience.

@DD I find it funny when people judge others lives on the internet and know nothing about them.

Uni is a once in a life time experience that allows you opportunities that it's very unlikely you would get if it weren't for uni

working abroad, gaining life skills in general, preparing you and giving you the highest level of qualification besides masters and PHD

Besides the point, I really hope I get in, honestly can't wait!

Your opinions are simply invalid! Go get some qualifications and shut up.

You judged. I said a fact.

Like why you still waste your time logging onto this game when there is obviously nothing here worth you being here. Strange you would put your shit account ahead of the great life you think you have.

Why would you contribute to a thread about someones life when they are not stupid enough to listen to people like you?

I already have more qualifications then you so how about you shut up and try to get your first qualification so you can be worth something. Uni teaches you how to think that's all you can work abroad in the real world and gain life skills in general. Sounds to me like you just need practice in life before you step in the real world

@DD because I can

If you have more qualifications than me, you must of gone to uni, therefore your comments would be well, a waste of your time...

Lets hear it then, what qualifications have you got

I have but at least when I went I studied something more complex then business management... I studied electronics engineering and when I graduated and got my degree I already knew I wasn't going back again because instead of wasting my time and money I could make life easier and just get all of my certifications which mean more then a degree from a university.

Clearly nobody here is planning on doing an English Language degree. Poor thing is being butchered.

Unfortunately, nobody here has quite got to grips with the fact that you can't judge somebody for their choice of degree. Education should be more about the love of a subject, and not simply taken for job prospects.

Not that I would expect Snoop "Fraud-man" 187 to appreciate such a notion. His entire existence would appear to revolve around feeling superior to other people.

For shame, Fraudman, for shame.
