Take the R word right out of it and get straight to the end i say, even if you dont think there is one or you arent planning on going there, what do you think it will be like.

Can you talk to each other?Does that mean you have to talk to others you might not want to..is it like a phone system with call waiting? Can you see one another or is it like Yoda and co when they died in Star wars,Is it your own personal heaven but then if your personal Heaven invovles someone else and your not in theirs how does that work? Are the angels (if its your thing) like the staff of Heaven? And do you think you can be chucked out for doing something wrong.

Mine if it was there would be a Star wars jobby with a big chill out room somewhere at the back. But apart from that id be happy with doing crap im doing in this life, with at least family members as poss.

If there's an afterlife and it turns out to be as dull as this one, I'll be pissed off. Rivers of whisky and endless groups of gorgeous women would do it for me. Then I'd take back everything I've ever said about religion and learn to love it.

The end is just the end. The brain is merely an electromagnetic device, when it stops working, there's nothing, nada, zip.

It'd make as much sense for calculators to have an afterlife, as humans.

Not necessarily an atheist, I just don't believe that some supreme authority is masterminding this sick world we live in... unless you count the US govt... j/k

Honestly, Im anti-religion. Religion plays on fear of the weakminded.
Religion = Hypocrisy
I watch tele-evangelists conning old ladies out of their pensions, while claiming to do "Gods work".
I see Pastors driving around in luxury cars nicer than mine while doing "Gods work".
If you read history, religion along with greed are the largest root causes of war and unnatural death. More often than not, if you study cases of genocide, it was really religion-ocide.
Any asshole with a grudge can kill people, use religion as an excuse and then cry religious bias, and even tho hes a killer, he can still find support from other "religious" assholes.

Not an atheist per se, I simply opt out of such an ugly business.

All these people all their lives wanting to get into this place. Then when they get there it is not what they thought at all. It turns out their souls actually end up in the stomach of a hungry dimensional being. The ones with more turmoil and strife and torment taste better. Slowly being digested over eons. The secretions of its stomach numbing your soul, making it see and experience big puffy fluffy clouds, being caressed by the sounds of strumming harps and gentle horns.

I don't think he's saying that, I think it's more that if something can come from nothing, then something can come from something, and nothing can come from something.

It's more a belief in theoretical science than anything.

I was commenting on the possibility of something happening. We just have huge egos and have a problem with accepting that this is probably it, and then spend our lives striving for what could be.

Live here, live now, be a decent human being. If there is something more, you'll know when the time comes.

I understand your sentiment and live by the 'don't count on it, make this one count' rule. I'm not sure that the ego argument only works that way though...

Who knows how this universe works? Who knows what happens when someone dies? Who knows what makes them live?

I won't be convinced until someone can break a human (or animal, or plant) down, atom by atom and put them back together again, alive and well- or at least identify what every single one of those atoms, or electrical circuits do.

We're heading towards answers, but I'm not on the pioneering wave of discovery and I doubt that even the greatest minds would think that we're close to cracking this one, well perhaps they would but the greatest scientists thought they had solved the majority of problems before they even discovered quantom physics.

As anyone could probably guess I'm an agnostic (a fierce agnostic if there were such a thing), my debate isn't whether one of the countless religions you could name is correct or not but whether anyone really knows what is going on. For me, it's the only stance that's logical. I guess I'd fall under the "atheist agnostic" category, but having said that I have a small amount of optimism that there is a big fella out there somewhere, doing only 'it' knows what with whatever, if any, powers it has.

TL:DR, I don't know and I don't trust anyone that tells me they do know.

You have great egos saying one thing and great egos saying another, then plebs like me who can honestly say that they don't know.

I think Heaven would be the upgraded version of earth.

You can still got hungry, but food are unlimited, abundant, and disease free.

There's school, market place, shops.. All kind of places available on earth. But of course, none of that ruins your moralship such as porn, weapon, alcohol, and the like. Everything is simple and humble, but creative and innovative.

You still got to work, but also you have the freedom of doing it to your heart content. No pressure of shitty boss, shitty working place, or shitty job paid.

You can still get old and get sick. But all is cureable.

It is a place so wide as far as eye can see. Unlimited places to explore, but there's always a home to welcome you back.

But the most important thing is, every citizen is honest and happy citizen.

Oh, and the coolest thing ever is we will get a pair of wing to fly around.

Impossible for anyone to know the end. Including scientists that say that we are mere logical biological creatures interacting through biological processes throughout our brain.

I don't know if it exists, I don't think it does, but I do not say with certainty. Nor do I disclaim the fact of conciousness, unless completely provable or disprovable, both options remain open.

Is there a creator, I believe so. Even though I am a physicist, like all the great Physicists in time Einstein, Maxwell, Bohr, Tesla, all accepted a creator.

For this Universe, and it's perfects mathematical laws, cannot be coincidental, nor pop into existence randomly. When random itself cannot be defined without the Universe. The Universe was engineered by the architect, it is a design of engineering. However the creator of this vast Universe, may or may not have an interest in our small planet nor us for the Universe is vast. I accept the creator of this Universe. In my mind, I find it far more logical to accept a creator which is beyond logical human comprehension to create the Universe, rather than invoke some quantum physics dealing with spontaneous emissions, which in itself are simply roles of unknown parameters and highly sensitive initial conditions producing seemingly randomly results i.e. the electron and its spontaneous popping in and out of existence around it's orbit cloud.

This definitely got me thinking. I do not believe in any creator and usually like to avoid the topic completely because, to be honest, I do not have an opinion on the creation of the universe and would prefer not to think about it, however I find through reading this small agreements and disagreements that should help me be able to voice an opinion on the matter which I would actually rather keep to myself for the time being. But thanks anyway.

The fact is, nobody knows if there is or is not some kind of 'creator' or 'designer' so really, why do we even bother to argue about it? And how, if it does exist, do we get to this heaven? As far as humans know we cannot teleport matter from one destination to another (unless you are into the quantum physics theories) and consciousness isn't really matter, your brain will be there before and after death until it decays. Will you be the same person in heaven as you are here? What is the point in being here if heaven is so much better? Again, nobody knows the answers. It's all just theories and belief.

TL;DR - Heaven = Tits.
