If you live in the Northeast of the United States, you're most likely going to be affected by Winter Storm Nemo. This is considered a "life-threatening" winter storm and some areas could get anywhere from 24 inches of snow to 30 inches of snow. I live on the east coast, but my area is only expected to get 1 to 3 inches. Bummer. Every time there is a big snow storm in the Northeast, it always misses us. I want like 3 feet of snow sometime during the week so all of the roads get closed and school gets cancelled. Oh well, I'm sure we'll get one here someday. To everyone who is being affected by this winter storm: Stay safe out there!

just another storm being overhyped because the news doesn't want to report what is actually important.

Well I can't speak for NYC but parts around boston were hit with nearly 3 feet of snow, so the travel bans make sense. Not because everyone is "scared" but more just because its mch easier and faster to clear snow on the roads when there are less people. And any other cities hat routinely get 30+ inches of snow are nowhere near as busy and populated as the I-95 cities are that's the problem, there's too mch snow in a too small place where space is already at a premium.

Although I don't know which roads you heard owed til Monday. The travel ban is bein lifted in the hardest hit areas of Massachusetts as of right now, less than a couple hours after it stopped snowing.
