who cares, I'll be long dead before anything happens... and for all the people who say "think of the future"

It's their problem, they'll no doubt have the technology to deal with it.

that line of thought is fascinating.

That would fall under "Magic Bullet"

If I really wanted to be some wet liberal climate apologist, I could sit here, wring my hands, eat carbon neutral lima beans and ride an organic bicycle to work, but I'd rather be warm, dry and comfortable, so screw that, and screw the climate.

best thing said in this thread so far... I lol'd

I have said it before, and I will say it again:

Want to reduce anthropogenic climate changing emissions by 50%?

Simple.

Eliminate 3 billion humans...

Otherwise, deal with the reality of the situation. Because until mother nature decides to deal with the issue, everything else is just lip-flapping twaddle designed to separate us from our money, so the fat cats can continue to live their carbon-burning, fuel-consuming, energy-draining, posh lives, while pretending to change things, while they stick their hands out for more.

People who believe in depopulation should kill themselves.

On topic: yes the climate changes, and is changing. But regardless of whether we are influencing that we should still try and greatly reduce emissions, as the levels of co2 are definitely higher than they should be.

I don't believe in depopulation per se, but if there is any chance you are one of those people who does, then please have at it, Limetree... I mean should the urge overtake you that is. Far be it for me to try to change your mind... and a very happy journey to you, as well.

You just heard my opinion on people who believe in depopulation. If I was one of those people, then naturally I would have already killed myself. Hence from the fact that I posted, you can assume I am not one of those people. I really doubt that even you are so stupid that you couldn't work that out, and as such I can assume that your reply was simply a pathetic attempt at trolling or trying to insult me (though a very very poor one). Anyway thanks for attempt, its the thought that counts hey.

Climate Change. Where do you stand?

Under an umbrella normally.
