this has to be the funniest thing I have seen in the news for a while.
Basically the mayor rode the donkey to his inauguration is now facing legal action for breaching a court order telling him not to ride the donkey. "To mock his rivals, Mr Batista used a donkey as a campaign symbol - as the Portuguese word for donkey, "burro" means "idiot"."

Tell him to come to England, where he would be allowed to ride the Donkey, as long as he didn't post images of himself doing so on Twitter or Facebook, or he would be arrested for malicious communications...

it all started when , during the campaign, one of his rivals called him an "ass" ... so it sort of made sense for him to use the donkey as a symbol 
funny thing is the "ass" won
in the end .... he'll get a small fine and it'll end there

Mr Hands didn't accidentally slip and fall on that horse, so I'm going to guess that, regardless of how true it was when the rumour started, there's some bright entrepreneur out there willing to make it a reality.
