I blame the invention of internet pron for this same old thread appearing every couple of days. When I was a kid it was all in magazines which you could readily find under bushes in parks...
So much for progress...
That's not the worst thing either. Almost everyone in their 20s have no pressure to do anything: nobody cares about marriage, nobody cares about houses; average first time buyers in UK is apparently 37 the age at which people have sex has gone down, meaning we're getting laid before we really 'grow up' and parents are pissing themselves nowadays, people nowadays are a lot smarter than their parents since they've had the time to educate themselves more, the internet has created a whole generation who are either asexual or engaged in increasingly weird and wonderful sexual practices...
It's the golden age of adulthood. Nothing has changed from most peoples teens to their 20s.
I'm so glad that I get the best of both worlds.
I believe you have incomplete research here. I havent met one teenager that wasnt a complete idiot in months. Or maybe what you meant to say is kids nowadays are alot lazier than their parents... just sayin

I believe you have done no research and basing your ideas around a very insignificant number of anecdotal cases. Those kids who you 'cherry picked' are probably categorised under youths who simply do not study, as opposed to people lacking the IQ comparable to previous generations. Moreover, those whom are categorised as 'previous generation' and exhibit high intelligence are merely demonstrating their crystallised intelligence by virtue of their chronological advantages. I believe I mentioned that each new generation is seemingly lazier and thus that can be interpreted as being stupid. Nevertheless, if you looked at the correlation between intelligence and education, you would observe that individuals who score high on IQ tests and various other tests are in fact the most educated; this is very much prevalent across the board; that's in stark contrast to the image a fool posted. Let's not forget that the more you study the greater chunk of knowledge is stored within long term memory which is also a fairly good way to measure the sophistication of neuron and networks. As for actual research findings where various people are compared... just look up the flynn effect.
I'm not saying you are stupid or anything... I'm just a little amused by Bucks continuous unprovoked attacks on superior people.

I will acquire an engineering degree in medicine and become a medical doctor and on the side I'll have a psychology phD. But first, I will buy myself lots of businesses, one of which will be a nice yummy restaurant. I saved up lots of my pocket money by never going out. Then once I hit 25 I will already have made it as a rich man and use my discretionary income to funde the purchase of stocks in distant lands, etc... by age 30 I'd already be a millionaire. Until then I have no need to mop floors or clean toilets. By that time I might even hire a few people just like you to do that for me.
