I first want to say I wish Bill Ward only the best.

Tony Iommi, Sharon Osbourne and Rick Rubin (;Rick produced and probably engineered everything in the studio);, have performed a miracle. Classic Sab in the 21st century. Ozzy's voice is perfect on the album (;I'll report about his performance when I see him in August);.

Tony is awesome, as usual. Geezer lays that heavy bass wonderfully. Brad Wilk, drummer from Rage Against the Machine I think, is an excellent replacement. Someone else is drumming on the tour.

If Rick Rubin doesn't get nominated for a Grammy, I will be angry. He captured Sabbath perfectly.

They came to New Zealand in April and went to the concert. You will not be disapointed. They are absolutely amazing.

The dude from Rage is indeed the best replacement. His drum solo was sick.

Thank you for the feedback! I was beginning to think no one in TC liked Sab.

I am so looking forward to the show. The last time I saw Ozzy, Tony and Geezer on the same stage was 1978 for the Never Say Die tour.

Ozzy should have stopped ages ago. Saw him perform a couple of times, but it´s just pathetic.
Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward are the true legends!

You are so wrong. All Ozzy needs to do is sing and he does it great. Bill Ward is the total lost cause. He let alcohol rule his life and look what it got him. Replaced by a drummer from one of the bands I hate the most (;Tom Petty is #1);, Rage Against the Machine.

You probably never saw Sabbath in the 70's, I did. 75 and 78. 1978 was the last time Ozzy toured with Sabbath. The Never Say Die tour. That was a great show and album.

I saw Ozzy solo with Randy Rhoads on the Diary of a Madman tour. He had a bit of a meltdown when the hand that was supposed to lift him above the audience didn't work during his opening number, Mr Crowley.

I didn't see Sabbath in the 70's, no. I wish I had, but I wasn't born at the time

Don't get me wrong, Ozzy has done great things for the heavy metal scene and I listen to Sabbath a lot. It just makes me sad to see the old man cripple on the stage nowadays. I don't know if you have also seen him in the past few years but, especially if you saw Sabbath back in the 70's, you would probably agree with me. But heck, it's Ozzy, people pay to see him anyway, just for the sake to see him

I still hear him yelling "I CANT **** HEAR YOU" at night :;/

http:;//www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GPpORt6vVo

This was the last time I saw him live. No Sabbath, "Ozzy & Friends" (;friends being Geezer Butler, Zakk Wylde, Slash, as well as a few other great muicians);

As for the new Sabbath album, I didn't find a chance to listen to it all yet so I won't command on it, allthough the first impression was great, sounded like some classic Sabbath :;);

I saw some recent live videos. Yes, it's sad to see him shuffle 5 feet off to one side of the mic stand, come back and rest , while singing, then shuffle off 5 feet in the other direction and repeat. But, as you said, he is Ozzy and he loves performing. I'm glad Sharon kept him alive.

I think you'll like the new cd. I bought the deluxe set that has 3 extra songs. It's Sabbath. They take a lot of the old riffs and work them into the new music. I love it.

Ozzy is black sabbath and that's the only reason they want him back now that they are getting too old and want another go at wembley sized crowds

As far as I'm concerned they should take a step back now instead of forward or they'll end up looking as pitiful as the stones on stage nowadays

They kicked ass when I saw them live in April. Best performance I've seen.

I saw the Sabbath show last night! It was great!

Vinnie Appice is a beast on the drums. He did a 20 minute drum solo that was absolutely amazing. Tony and Geezer...well they can do nothing bad. They kicked ass as usual.

I was pleasantly surprised by Ozzie's performance. He was moving around pretty good and not like on the couple of vids I saw on yt. And he still has his voice. He's probably trying to keep healthy for the tour.

The only thing I was disappointed about was them only playing 2-3 songs from the new album. Not too disappointed, mind you.

They did a couple songs from every album from Black Sabbath to Never Say Die and did an 'Iron Man' medley that covered some more bits of songs from those albums.

I had an awesome time and if everyone's still alive and touring next year, I'll go see them again. But not festival/lawn seating. Reserved seats next time.
