My friend and I are conflicting on a name for our symphonic metal band. Which one sounds better to you?

although I prefer one-word names like Atreyu, Satyricon, Manowar and so on

A little back story on how I decided on the name "Tears of Mortality": I was listening to a lot of Forest Stream and their first album "Tears of Mortal Solitude" sounded dark and ethereal, and I liked it. My friend decided on "Land of the Nightfall" because of the song "Amaranth" by Nightwish (In a land of the day-break).

I like the second name too but i think you should shorten it to Land Of Nightfall, I'm not a fan of long band names...

Well, we do plan on making a concept album that's like a story and we could base one of the characters of the norse god Vitharr.

Impressive names there. Tears of Morality is a favourite though. These may not suit your style but screw it haha
- Ashes After Dark (A reference to a documentary i saw years ago about a scrapped Nuclear attack plan aimed to strike in the early hours of the morning to hit the most casualties.... chilling and cold in my opinion.... wish i could remember the name now lol)
- Aurora Eclipse
- Safety In Nations
- Dispatch Concerto
