I want a remake of Shattered Galaxy sooo bad! I know it's still around (I think) but it went to shit when Kru got their hands on it.

I had a Windows 95 PC when I was younger, but it broke.
Battlezone, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2, Outlaws (Demo), Blood & Virtua Cop 2 were the games I played on it, and I really miss them.

All those games can be downloaded today as theyve all become abandonware. I found out that theres a piece of software called Virtual PC which allows you to use two versions of windows at the same time. Im pretty sure you can use a virtual 95 software to play those games.

dosbox lets you play a lot of old games as well. its quite fiddly though ie you have a lot of settings to tinker with.

Yeah, I use that program aswell. You really dont have to tinker with the settings very much, you just need to learn where to set the screen and how to mount the drives.

Space Wars

It was an actual stand up arcade game that you had to put 4 quarters in (American 25 cent coin).

It was a very unique game at the time and fun to play.

Oh well, I didn't mean to be "wrong" I don't even know how that is possible. I meant the 'side scrolling' style of game(?) if that makes sense.

I'd say I miss the original Star Wars Battlefront 3 before Gearbox decided to cut development funding from that to work on another new franchise that ended up selling far below expectations....and now its being developed by Dice and will have EA charging an arm and a leg for everything.

it annoys me because Dice is already working on Battlefield 4, and the sequel to Battlefield 2142 so they better stay true to the Battlefront series.

Just bought Red Faction collection on steam for a few bucks and it includes one of my favorite games which is Red Faction Guerilla.

I'd love to see the day when a true sequel to Red Faction Guerilla is released but sadly it wont happen since the "sequel" Red Faction Armageddon sold so poorly that they have shelved the franchise.

here is a video demonstrating just how complex the destructibility is in the game, you can spend hours trying to figure out how to efficiently take down buildings and me and some friends actually bet money on who could take down stuff with the least amount of explosives(I won most of the time lol)

I love the Red Faction series, I quite liked Armageddon too, but everyone else thinks it's crap...
But wrecking stuff on Guerilla is the best! The previous 2 focus on the story alot more though, and I found the second one a bit lame, but still fun.

many who hated armageddon loved the guerilla one simply because all they needed for a sequel was the same free roam but work on the writing more but they decided to go back to the boring linear gameplay and not give a crap about multiplayer which made guerilla a lot of fun playing multiplayer.

besides every Red Faction game has sold easily more than 1 million copies but they only sold 150k copies of armageddon since many were turned away from the linear gameplay....thats how much of an impact guerilla had on the franchisebby adding a free roam open world. you can never take a linear game and turn it into an open world and then back to linear gameplay and expect it to sell well.

I really enjoyed the story to 1, and on Xbox nobody plays the multiplayer on Guerilla. Hopefully when I can get my own PC I'll try getting Red Factions on that. I've heard before that they're better on PC.

A game I miss would be a western strategy game called Desperados. I remember reading that a sequel to this game was being developed, but that was several years ago.
