Don't expect to see a sequel since the dev company behind the series laid off half its staff that work on the series

Its not a Hitman game first and foremost. Not as good as Blood Money but otherwise it is a solid game with two very bad flaws.

1.Checkpoint saving/ Level resetting once you die even with checkpoint activated.
2.Insinct mechanic is broken and disguises nerfed.

I enjoyed the game though and thought the production values were really good. Funny and interesting side conversations by characters, the world was made to feel real and was lively in the populated areas. The characters were really well voice acted even though cliché.

If it didn't have Hitman in the name it would a pretty good game as I said, otherwise it does not live up to the name at all.

I'm sure the game will return to its roots in the next installment. You should play Blood money and experience the true meaning of Hitman.

As for the next sequel I don't think they are halting production. The company needed a restructure after the backlash from fans.

They need to bring back Jesper Kyd for the soundtrack too.

thats why I skipped over this one because i figured it would be mediocre so I will wait for the price to drop on steam because I know I will get a far better deal than buying it for console since Steam usually cuts the price off at the knees for a weekend or daily deal for some of the best games. Just recently got Dishonored for just $10 and spent $6 on all the DLCs which included all the preorder stuff. Regular price I would be spending around $40 altogether including DLCs

Hell I Paid the extra fiver to get the Sniper challenge as well

As 4 Dishonoured, I got that day 1 aswell but thoroughly enjoyed it. It came with a pretty box & Playing/Tarrot cards. Worth the44:99 imo. And as for Hitman I did love it, was just so pissed at the price drop -.-
