All over the wide world of the internet, people debate constantly over which final boss theme is the best. I decided to try and ask this question in other places, but could not get any clear answers, so I decided to come here. I now ask you, TORN users, what you think the greatest final boss themes of all time are. My personal favorite would be Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure 2. I'm quite curious to see what yours are.

Usually any boss that isn't one of those that requires time button pressing or those that have a pattern to how they fight.

Cinematic bosses are by far the worst thing like Fable 2 has one of the biggest examples of this since there is no final boss but a choice giving you 5 seconds to choose whether to kill him before one other character does without even fighting him.

Well, I just love songs that fit the mood. Touhou songs all fit the mood.
.hack "Skeith Theme" terrifies you, like Skeith should.
Pokemon songs sometimes fit, but sometimes they just sound so good that they work out even if they don't fit.
I could go on, but you get my drift.

good boss fight just for its sheer simplicity and how funny it was and is one of the more memorable ones which is saying a lot since all of them were really funny.

[b]If you watch the video skip to 2:55 mark to see the start of the fight.

It wasnt the final boss fight, but it was close to the end. In halo 2 when you walk in the big room with the huge fight scene, i think the song is actually the instrumental for Only the Strongest Will Survive by 3 Days Grace, it fits perfect. Otherwise I think Zelda, FF, and Devil May Cry have my favorite soundtracks.

I wonder why people always get 3 Days Grace confused with Breaking Benjamin

Possibly related to how generic they both sound.

To test my theory I put in "Generic Rock" into google. The very first result was Urban Dictionary with this insightful entry:

"30 Seconds to Mars, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Nickelback, Hinder, Seether, Theory of A Deadman" etc etc

Shockingly it included both bands plus Nickelback.
Before anyone gets mad at me I have no problem with generic rock! We have it on at my work all the time and I don't mind it at all.

I came into the thread with the Biolizard Theme 'Supporting Me' in mind.

I must concur. It's a dark song when compared to the rest of the soundtrack, but that only helps it become more awesome. Even after it's taken 15+ lives in one battle (and that's if you've fought it before, if not you can lose upwards of 30 lives if you're not careful).
