I play PS3 and XBOX im most happy with PS3 altough im disapointed by the lack of some games in european store. And so on.
Never played online on xbox though...

I play PS3, had a 360 but that thing is ancient (had it b4 halo 3 was in shops)
I'd prefer 360 plainly just based on the controllers, i got big hands and PS3 controllers are a bit too small
(havent tried online 360 yet either)
i play driver san frans and B-ops 2 only online

No its not. both of the controllers are same. the only difference is xbox controller is a little curvy which gives more smooth to hold when ps3 controller has direct corners.
Edit: PS3 cont are best for fighting games as they have separate up, down, left, right buttons while xbox(default) has a bit clumsy. although you can get a different xbox cont from Razor

- price of same game is always more in PS3.
- PS3 has God Of War( game of the year and ascension is the most violent game ever till now) while XBox has Gears of war(bit much addicted).
Forza(xbox) cant remember for PS3
- chances of breakdown of Xbox is 33%while PS3 is 0.7%

PC beats them both hands down
don't have to pay for online game features and the online community is better with all the mods and dedicated servers.
If I had to choose between the two consoles it would be 360 simply because I don't like the PS3 UI or its unreliable and slow online services but PS3 does have some strong exclusive games but not that many.

ps3 had gran turismo for driving games..
i grew up playing xbox,xbox 360 games, i prefer forza over gt and God of war over gears too
used to be top shit at drifting on forza 1/2 but its been a while

No, I'm inclined to agree with Phegasus. Those two games use the same rinse and repeat method every year hardly changing a thing. I have Black Ops 2 and I really enjoy it but I'm enjoying it for the wrong reasons. I'm enjoying it because it's the first C.o.D that has a balanced weapon, perk and killstreak system. This should have been a thing in all their games, but Treyarch and Infinity Ward have been greedy and didn't care about their customers over the last few years. OT I hate these threads, there's no difference that stands out with the consoles, PC gaming is where it's at at the moment.

There's literally a plethora of games out there, ones where studios have done great things creating enveloping storylines, intense gameplay, innovative game play systems and much more.
Fifa and COD are the colour by numbers, the Transformers movies of the gaming world, visually pleasing but no depth, arcade style games.
It would do you good, and the games industry good to try out other games, broaden your experience and appreciate the artform of gaming for what it really is.

I have both the PS3 and the XBox 360, and I would say that they are pretty much equal. However PC is the best gaming platform to use in my opinion.

I have both, but I like Xbox more. I don't really game much anymore, but I used to. I like Xbox more for a ton of reasons, but there's nothing wrong with PS3 (at least in my opinion.) But I agree that PC is better than both.

xbox used to be my console of choice, but then i got a ps3, the ability to put any laptop harddrive in it is wonderful. Streaming is better than the 360. i enjoy the exclusives on ps3 more but still love playing xbox. and ive had to fix the disk tray in my xbox like 3 times, havent had to crack my ps3. honestly though the keyboard is my weapon of choice

ps3... free, better games. I'll admit the servers on xbox are slightly better, but i'll still take ps3 anyday... and when ps4 comes out it's going to blow xbox out of the water.
