Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a new game on Xbox, does anyone know any good, fun games?

there are loads of good games on xnox it all depends what your into (rpg,rts,fps etc)
A few of my favourites are command and conquer red alert 3, skrim and battlefield.
but what ive learned is if you get an old console eg a snes or even get a pc you can get good games cheap
I got 8 snes games for £5 and 11 pc games for £20 instead of buying a brand new one for £40 are an alish one at 4 for £20

No real suggestions from me, most of the 360 exclusives aren't that good(like the gears of war series which was a let down) and the rest of the games it has is available for PC(which I prefer to use over console).
if you want some good fun though check out the Overlord series where you take the role of an evil mastermind set in a stylized world that somewhat imitates Lord of the Rings and you control little minions to do your bidding. Its one of the biggest underrated series and I still go back to playing it every now and then.

Yeah.. I already have minecraft and mw3, im not too much into fifa because im basically crap at it and im thinking about getting farcry instincts predator so i know the story line

What are you talking about? The Gears of War series is amazing, end of. There was a thread exactly like this ages ago and you even bashed it then. On topic getting Gears 1 or 2 would be pointless unless you want to get them for the story, but Gears 3 is epic and Gears of War Judgement is coming out really soon. Another great standalone is Halo 4. Other than that there's a number of other games like Red Dead Redemption, Battlefield 3, any of the recent GTAs or Black Ops 2 which is a real improvement on the last few C.o.D's.

Gears of war series was just uninteresting for me and the only character I liked was the Cole Train since he reminded me of those Terry Tate Office Linebacker vids(link below)

I would rather much have maybe UT4 instead of the gears series seeing as the people behind GoW series also worked on UT3 and its been years since the release of UT3.

I'm not big into any of the newer games except Dishonored. It's a good steam-punk-esque game! But I always go back to Fable 1 and 2 (3 was a waste of my time), any of the oblivion (elder scrolls) games, mine craft, forza, F1 2012 & 2013, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect. Occasionally I'll pick up a good oldie like Banjo & Kazooie, Ratchet & Klank, or Sly Cooper.
But I'm having to train my son to be a future gamer!! So occasionally I'll bust out Tomb Raider, Mario Kart, Sypro, Chrono Trigger, Zelda.... The real classics! Gonna raise a gamer-- gotta do it right!

I've still got Skyrim, Xcom and Grand Slam Tennis in the cellophane, too little time to bust them open.
But I've wanted to get Dishonored. Game looks NICE. It was down to $40 on Amazon but now back $50 everywhere.
Assassin's Creed 3 is good for several hours enjoyment if you like the series. Multiplayer was oddly enough halfway fun. Ain't a keeper though. Same goes for Far Cry 3. Get it super cheap or buy and trade. Fun though. Multiplayer was _ass_.
Borderlands (original) GOTY with all DLC was excellent and super cheap.
Forza Horizon was fun for a bit. Very pretty game. Has the rally expansion now too. I couldn't keep it since it wasn't nearly as customizable as Forza 4 (a true classic).
Aliens Colonial Space Marine is getting terrible reviews, I'm not about it. And Bioshock Infinite with its scrapped MP is like straight bargain bin material for me (no multiplayer? What, is it 1997?).
SSX should be $15-$20 if you like snowboarding. I thought it was fun for a bit.
Don't underestimate FIFA 13 if you like the genre at all. It is IMO the best soccer/fb title ever made.
