i have played it through several times

ive been as a fighter, thief, mage/fighter, and currently im going as full time mage

the game is great and is still interesting even after all these playthroughs
sadly i havent got the DLCs still but i will at some point (college makes me broke)

i think i have seen every cave and place there is but with each playthrough i keep finding new ones that i missed previously

but i play on PC and as such have access to mods and i would really suggest getting skyrim for PC if you have a PC that can manage it

Skyrim has endless replayability and honestly if you're the type to play a game and ignore the sidequest stuff this is not the game for you because some of the sidequests are more interesting than the main story.

I myself never finished it since some of my OS files became corrupt and I lost my save but I put in around 40-50 hours on that save alone and still wasn't finished with my first playthrough. I'm waiting for the PC release of the Dragonborn DLC before I go back to playing it.

now as for DLCs they're all great though I have yet to play the Dragonborn one since that is going to be a PS3 exclusive for a few months before 360 and PC get it which pisses me off since PC is the best platform for playing skyrim with all the mods you can get.

Didn't like it. I played Oblivion almost to death, and Skyrim is a copy + paste of it.

Oblivion was basically Morrowind but in a different setting with better graphics.

Skyrim on the other hand is Obvlion with vastly improved features and gameplay tweaks along with interesting content inspired from popular Oblivion mods.

only thing i didnt like about skyrim is the fact that it was dumbed down in some aspects

i would be grateful if the magic system would be more like morrowind or oblivion, i mean how you were able to create your own magic spells there

and the other thing i would like is that the armor and weapons and all that would be degrading so that you would have to repair them

those small things that dont change the game that much, would make the day for me

I beleive someone was working on a PC mod to allow you to create spells for Skyrim although I can't remember if it was ever finished.

The combat's worse (no sword, spell and shield, no creating spells), and the few features they've added to the combat system are horrid. The dual-wielding system is so horribily half-arsed, and the animations are completely f**ked. Mounted combat looks, and plays, just as badly.

The quests didn't have any freedom, the level up system is annoying as f**k, and the game feels like a broken-down version of Oblivion.

seems fine to me

play the game for the fun of it and not to compare it to past games and maybe you might enjoy it.

There is no fun. Like i said, it's just a copy and paste of a game i've played before.

Skyrim is a pretty cool game. If you do all the side quests it could take you several hundred hours to play through the game. Oblivion was also a good game, I wish it could have been as big as Skyrim though. Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas were awesome, I have played them through more times than I have played through Oblivion and Skyrim because each time I have discovered things that I missed in previous playthroughs. Also I enjoyed The Witcher Enhanced Edition and Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings but I think I played them because of the boobs you can see in those games. LOL

Sry i have to correct my earlier comment that Dragonborn DLC was being released for the 360 first and PC on the 5th of this month while the PS3 release date is stated to be sometime this month but will most likely release the same time as PC on the 5th.

as for Steam that is just pre-purchasing it

gotta say, i can never get enough of it. raked up more played hours with it, that MW2.

you never really finish skyrim, as it randomly generates new quests.

ive clocked 300+hrs on it, and im still finding new locations and caves.

well worth the investment. but definately get it o
PC if you can. the mods give it a whole new level of replayability.

I just save myself the trouble and mod a few files to increase the cash dropped by enemies and go off of that. Its still cheating a little but nowhere near as much as using console commands .

Its better because I usually leave all the loot behind aside from whatever unique weapons/armor I find along with any items I may need.

It gets repetitive after 20 hours of play.
Most of the quests are fetch quests.
I do not like.
Play Fallout: New Vegas instead. Or do you want a RPG with swords and that? If you have a PC, you should check out the witcher 2. Console? Well, you should consider purchasing dragon age origins. Avoid dragon age 2, however, as it is one of the worst games of all time.
