Anyone on here play DayZ?
just a general discussion of your best weapon finds and where you found them
also are you a bandit or hero?
I have Just found myself an AS50! also got M4 CCO SD, ghillie suit, best backpack and all that good stuff

it's worth it trust me, not just for DayZ, Arma 2 is actually a good game but DayZ is just immense, love the survival aspect of it and can't wait for it to come out as stand-alone

Me in the Ghillie suit on the left there, with an M107.
We slaughtered 3 guys refueling their chopper the other day, and proceeded to have a few days fun flying up and down the East coast shooting anything that moved.

I much prefer something a bit more versatile like the M14AIM, because if you happen to get into a close combat situation against another player, and you've already got your rifle out then there's not a lot of hope if hitting them - even if it is a one shot kill.
However, once you've sorted out the basics of compensating for latency and distance, a murder at 800m+ is pretty satisfying. Especially knowing they probably never even saw it coming.
I am usually on the Snap NZ server(s), since they are run by our ISP and are just down the road from us, so with 4-6 of us all playing on the same connection we can keep a ping under 8ms (very convenient for sniping the Aussies that connect with pings around 100).
They're all private hive servers, and there's a couple of good guys from Snap that play in the evenings after work and ban any suspected cheaters and hackers. Coming down hard on the hackers discourages most of them from bothering to even try.

I know want to get it but just carnt aford it at the moment stuck playing my old games most of em run windows 95

i get what you are saying there, I did have an M4 CCO SD in my backpack before i got took out and robbed :/ but yeah it's so good taking someone out who never expected it! especially with the AS50 from 1,000+
what's the name of the server? I may have to join and play with you if that is okay? I have super low ping for all the serves that I go on so I should be okaydo you use Skype?
The fact that they are all private hives now is a bit annoying, means I have to stick to one server now but oh well, I sometimes log on to a new server with like an M16 and right next to the NW Airfield! haha
and to the guy above this post, it's only about 20 pounds man! get a paper round or something

Okay mate, I will do later on as I have just got in from work and I'm tired! will be about 5pm TC time I shall get onto that server too, my name on it is 'Max' but yeah I can use steam chat fine
