i am a xbox fan but i have to say this...
ps3 is better and its a fact cus my ICT teacher told me its to do with the graphics and ram and rom
lol but thats all the rest is crap just has a little bit better graphics
and my teacher told me something that when they started making the PS 3 then it was worth 700 pounds
and it was sold for.. well a lot less (lol i think it was 100 pounds not sure)
what do you think is the best

Average gaming rig = approx £600 (a decent graphics card costs upwards of £200)
Average console = approx £200

But hey, if your ICT teacher (who I assume teaches at a secondary school and therefore is just a glorified gym teacher) says it's true, it must be.

After messing with my PS3 for a few days I like it but the menus take a while to load sometimes and it overheats so easily even though its winter time and I have my window open in my room....
The 360 may have RROD but at least Microsoft was smart enough to put plenty of vents on it to allow heat to escape where as Sony put only 1 small vent on the back for the fan and no other vents on the sides/top/bottom like the 360.

The Xbox came out in Nov 05 and the Playstation in Nov 06. If the ps3 wasnt better after they already knew the stats of the xbox then it'd be a fail.
Thing is though it only makes a difference on ps3 exclusives meaning that xbox players never played said games so they dont give a shit.
Plus generation 8 is likely to come out next Christmas anyway so it doesnt really matter.
... And wait, you only just realised there's a difference? What are you 12? You've just started school and been told their's a difference?

I own a customg gaming PC, play on my brother's xbox and im about to buy a PS3

I grew up with the PSOne/PS2, but I got the Xbox 360 two years ago rather than a PS3 because . . . well, my sister convinced me, and I figured "why not?" It really is pointless to favor one console so blindly . . . it only shows how ignorant people can be. I have a 360, I have a Wii, I might be getting a PS3 for Christmas, and when it comes to handhelds, the Gameboy/DS are classics, and the PSP is great from what I've actually played of it. The only reason that I don't PC game is because my computers all suck!
Like I said: favoring one console blindly is ignorant. Not to mention just plain moronic. If anything, I go by what games are available. After all, if it's a good game, who gives a damn what console it's for?
