honestly it looks pretty good, this "ancient" evil looks pretty sick no lie lol and whats funny like it said in the trailer Cortana is 8 years old, she was suppose to die (or whatever it said) after 7 years... i honestly think its foreshadowing something that will come!!!

This game looks beautiful! Everything looks so refreshed and new. I love the new weapons and enemies in it.

I'm not to fond of some of the changes to it, but it looks great overall. I just hope they don't change it too much in an effort to bring more people into it. Almost any game that has tried that has failed.

I'm probably not going to go pick it up at midnight and play through it all in one shot without stopping for anything but more whisky like I did with Halo 3... but I am looking forward to it a LOT.

how could they stop at halo 3's ending? after the legendary movie at the end with the planet, I KNEW that bungie (at the time) would make another halo sequel, i wasnt expecting a trilogy though I just hope they dont do 2 masterchiefs for coop mode, that would really rustle my jimmies.

Never been a fan of Halo in a whole, just cant compete with CoD imo. Not a " fanboy " or anything, just I've always preferred CoD over Halo. Halo's online to me is just horendous, its retarded and makes no sense. Dont get me wrong though, CoD online makes no sense alot of the time aswell lol. But overall CoD Halo imo.

story is kind of typical cliche scifi but as long as the quality of the game itself is good and the gameplay holds up to past Halo games it will be good

I got halo 4 yesterday, It is pretty much a cross between halo reach and call of duty. It's alot of fun and the BR being back is good.
I still think halo 3 was the best halo so far but we'll see. This one might be better when they release more maps etc. add me if you wanna play...

Halo two was the best, Halo 3, Reach and 4 have brilliant campains but I don;t play multiplayer, I hate it so whats the point of me getting it?

Up close, Every time, BR out, Get killed by a DMR even if I manage the first shot on them..
The hell is the point in it being a 'Designated Marksmen Rifle' ~ A long range weapon, If it can still destroy anything close range.
Haven't played campaign yet though, Been stuck in multilayer, The server's are shit and some lobbies are very bad with lag and connection, But overall I'm enjoying it.

Having got about 6hrs of multiplayer under my belt I have come to several conclusions:
1. The bolt shot needs nerfing; at the moment it is just like having a shotgun as your secondary.
2. The DMR out-guns the battle rifle in all situations. I only use the BR if i'm in a laggy game for the spray shot.
3. The servers are struggling (however that usually happens with the overload of new players on a new game, it should get better in the next week or so).
4. The campaign is pretty good, I really liked the story and look forward to the next two.
5. The spartan op's is pretty easy as you can respawn as many times you like without having to go back the last save point like you would on the campaign.
All in all I really like and enjoy the game, but for the sake of longevity I think a few things need tweaking.

After playing multiplayer for a week straight now, And I mean alot of multiplayer.
I can now say without a doubt this is the worst game I have ever purchased, The multiplayer is shit, And if you play "Infinity slayer" Get ready for a $5 Call of Duty rip off. kill cams.. Classes. New "ordinance drops" that work the exact same as kill streaks would.
I can't stand Call of Duty but would much prefer it over the cancer 343 have turned my once favourite gaming title into.
The best part about this game is knowing when I return it I'll be able to spend my money on something decent.

So far I love Halo 4 but I haven't played multiplayer and could honestly care less about it
My favorite part is the mantis, but I haven't finished playing the entire game yet.
Some of my friends are all about playing CoD Zombies and I think playing that is retarded, dont understand how you can sit around doing nothing but shooting zombies for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours every weekend... and they can't wait to get the new one - to do exactly the same thing? Ok... doesn't make any sense to me.

Started playing multiplayer the other night and I think it kicks ass, it kinda sucks starting off because you have to "level" up your character, and you get your ass kicked for a while, but after a few battles when you start building up your experience and unlock new guns, armor, etc it's pretty damn sweet. I love playing the big infinity slayer matches where there's up to 30 people running around, driving tanks, warthogs, ghosts, flying banshees, shooting at eachother.. shit gets pretty damn crazy.
It is kinda weird how they match up lvl 1's with lvl 44's too, but whatever.. you gotta learn somehow I guess. In other words, the matchmaking system is pretty F'd up. Haven't heard any kids raging on there yet, but I play it late at night, so.. who knows.
