Hahaha, well played Foxxeh. I've left people surrounded in dirt or something before and had them freak out that they couldn't see anything when they were running around...but i've never managed a tnt cage

New pre release out today. To be honest you shouldnt mind waiting, really its really buggy
The server me foxxeh mat and others are on continuously dies when someone dies due to the EXP orbs so I have to restart it. Im actually really thankful they gave us a chance of 1.8 testing before the full release as many of these bugs require new worlds and as such if they did officially release it, the amount of bitching in between sub versions would have been incredibly bad.

At least there is a version 2 pre-release 1.8 now. I won't be able to test the lag and works until tonight, but hopefully it's a good step in the right direction.

Very hard to find one. But at least mineshafts are easy to find. Used 2 hours to explore just ONE (Due to it being so damn huge)

I almost think they're too big. They take up a lot of the underside of the world. Any underground bases are going to need to spend half the time making sure there aren't any unseen tunnels haha.

Nicely done! I play on a huge PVP server and we just recently finished digging a good sized underground base, complete with a 10 button, 5 digit (max specs allowed) lock to keep away unwanted company. We also migrated grass from the surface to our animal farm just above bedrock haha.

Make some shears (two iron ingots diagonal to each other) and you can cut and harvest grass, then plant it wherever you want it. VERY useful for doing some quick renovations.
On a side note- The new villages, Stronghold and ravines are top Notch (see the pun there). I have been renovating a stronghold at the bottom of a ravine as my new home. Will post pics when I am next on Torn from my desktop.

Pre release 1.9 - 2 just came out today (last night). I guess there is something about potions on the way for 1.10 (maybe 1.9 release if they can get it done in time).
The also mentioned that they will put a 'freeze' on coding about a month before MineCon (anyone going?) and polish the game, then go back and add them as patches post-launch.

Finally this was launched on friday, after a pretty boring minecon (if i do say so, i watched it online and it was pretty bad... The only cool part was the actual launch of it, followed by some terrible dancing.)
Anyone done anything cool with it yet?

I am stuck between playing Mincecraft. (I hear there are new monsters such as the enderman) Terraria and WoW. Of course being that I do not have so much space on the laptop due to WoW taking most of it (hey its a 7 year old laptop lol) I have not played Terraria or Minecraft for awhile.

Not to mention it's had at least one post per month since it was created, and has one of the highest post counts in the gaming section. Pretty sure that negates anything you had to say there WickedClownz.
Anyways. I haven't tried pokemobs yet but it looked hilarious. Another fun one to have is Clay Men or Clay Soldiers. That one was always a blast to play with as well when you get bored. I might have to start up a new world now that it's actually released though. I haven't really had the chance to play but hopefully soon i can.
