I normally play on my console or mobile because its faster than switching on my pc & my pc is very slow.
But on my console i cannot chat because on chat (on pc) when your finish writing a message you just press enter but on console you cannot do that as you type with your comtroller and because of this i hardly ever chat & chat is very useful for me when im in hospital. So i think there should be a send button which you then just click to send.

I also this you should be able to enable or disable it so if your on console or mobile you can use but if your on pc, Then there no use.

Strengths of Chat send button

Causes no problems
Can help player who play on mobile or console
Could be enabled or disabled so easy to change

Yeah i had this problem for year as i only play tc on my ps3.
