Why don't you explain just a bit better. As far as I know you can change your name at any time for free.

guessing he means a confirmation question when changing your name.. and that "auction" was just a typo for action.

I think he means to change your name you have to win an auction instead of just being able to pay a lowly fee of $10,000 (lots back in the days). So that you have to choose your name wisely as the auction bids may be high.

My other idea that he might be trying to suggest is that you could bid on titles or prefixes. To make you unique in a way.

I was given 200k, and a Raven MP25 to start. I know what it's like to not have 10K. Honestly it doesn't take that long to make 10K though when you can buy 100 bricks for $500 and sell them for $75K or more. If you really have to change your name it's pretty easy. I'm pressing the issue because I'd like a better explanation from the OP. I still don't understand what he's really asking for.
