Just a suggestion,

We should be allowed to purchase extra turns maybe at the below rates:

10 extra turns for 100 points ?
10 extra turns for $1,000,000 or even just have the one option of 100 extra turns for $10,000,000 ?? Or $1Billion for 100 turns?

Or the ability to find 'bags of turns' in the towns and in the city during the events?

Each bag containing (10), (50), (100) extra turns? OR you could get an event while exploring the towns and have 'SUPRISE you have doubled your turns for today'.

100 just doesn't seem to be enough..

OR you could mug people and steal their turns ;P ?

More turns for the rich? Not sure if that will fly tbh and I'm pretty sure that Ched would prefer a level playing field for these events.

Before anyone says anything about having to do previous year's tasks before you can start on the tasks for the current year - at least the tasks from those years are still available for everyone and you can catch up (I've finished xmas 2011 having to start from scratch and will be starting on xmas 2012 tomorrow so it is possible to catch up).

We used to get 250 turns a day for 6 or 7 days in xmas town - I'm pretty sure that 100 turns for 26 days tops that (at least for xmas town anyway).

p.s. In a lot of games I've played over the years that have special "yearly" events if you miss an event in a particular year then that's too bad, so I consider myself lucky to be able to complete xmas town 2011 given that I wasn't around to do it at xmas last year (as I suspect a lot of people weren't).

I disagree, I think 100 is enough turns. The idea is that it is a long term objective, not simply a super quick event. Any objective that may not be completed in a month can always be completed the following year when the town reopens. It would be called boring if it was able to be completed within one or two days.
