Apologies if this has been suggested or discussed in the past. I think Rehab should require energy alongside money. I think we should reduce or at least cap the increase in rehab costs but make each rehab session cost somewhere between 5 and 25 energy. If the energy required to rehab steadily increased instead of the cost then it would be the equivalent to drugs becoming less affective in the long term. This impact could decay over time when the user stops.
Any thoughts?

I would not like this.
I say just cap the rehab cost and leave it like that. Meh likes my energy to much.

Role-Play wise, I can't see why rehab would take energy particularly. Cost is the main thing with rehab so I'm not sure the point in spending energy (rehab) in exchange for more energy (xanax). It already takes hours of flight time to get there and back, which can make many people often miss a certain amount of energy anyway.

Whilst this is true - rehab is not instantaneous. If not energy then arguably time should be required.

Also, if you don't take drugs, it only takes a casual amount of effort to pay for everything in the game...Taking drugs, especially for a long time ALREADY takes more RL time.

If there were to be any changes to rehab, it would be that it takes time before you can leave instead of instantly being drug free after paying. Otherwise this really wouldn't have to much of an effect on anything.

lol, needs to be some sort of permanent effect of drug use, because being able to simply quit after years and then rehab fully and be essentially drug free is a joke. And it takes time and money to not use drugs and still compete. when your drug and rehab bills start to exceed 2-4b per month and still gain less stats than other drug users, then you can start comparing it to drug free users.

Rehab is already the worst part of the game... why make it worse? You don't feel it yet because you have taken about 1100-1200 xanax, but, go talk to someone who has taken twice that number and hear about their $100 million rehab bill for 10-11 xanax.

Still cheaper than my fhc bill and I still get less stats. The lack of permanence is the real issue.

LOL
I think that no matter how long drug addicts stop drugs after reaching such high rehab prices, dug free people will take many years to catch up. But even so, I think after some point people use Stat enhancers instead of FHC . Some could only use SEs without using xanax , which is for the extremly powerful players. So my conclusion? Leave things the way they are. Drug free users? Well it'd suck if they've used some vicodin. Maybe exclude those that don't do shit for your stats. Or have the people not exceed like 10total drugs taken or something.

People are already forking out millions for their rehab costs. It would be pointless to have to spend 2hrs getting to switz, pay x amount of money then have to use energy.
So when you run out, you have to wait for your energy to refill.
