INTRO of Myself as a Player.
First off, I would like to start by thanking Chedburn for my addiction to this game for 7 years, I hate you. Second of all I love your game and I wish to contribute to it. I have seen my best and worse days, from dominating the race track, trolled off of General Discussions, Chaining with 39th and DA which were my dreams when I first started this game. I have made well over 15 billion in this game and gambled it all away because I wish to quit not too long ago.
-I have played with the stock market ever since there was a limit on how much $$ you can invest within the stock market.
-7 Years experience within all three generations of the Stock Market.
-Owned several different companies.
-Made most of my fortune off of EVL and WLT (over $7 Billion)

INTRO to Public Companies
Before I start, companies and the stock markets had some drastic changes ever since I have played. From the fedding of Tea, Westend, and other Ponzi's of TC we have lost billions BUT also made billions. I miss Tea.
To my extent I am NOT a coder so I have no idea how extensive this project would be Cheddy, but I know it would develop TC to a LEVEL BEYOND other RPG games.
1.It is time to let Private Companies (one that is bought by the player) to be introduced to the Stock Market of Torncity and become a Public Company.
2.Public Companies will be introduced to an opening share price on the market determined by the government/staff of TC (if it exists, I will gladly volunteer) also the amount of shares on the market.
3.Public companies can be listed under the current stocks, for examples "A Television company will be listed under TC Media, or an oil company listed under CNC)
4.Public companies will be owned by the person that owns the most shares on the market, the company can also be owned by Torncity exclusively.
5.Public companies will be operated by either the owner of the most shares, or the Director.
6.Fluctuation and depreciation of the price of the company's share will be determined by the demand, volume of the shares being sold, also will be based on how much the company made, or will be making that current day.
BENEFITS:
-A lot of players can earn loads of money off of a striving company.
-Introduces TC to another level of economy that surpasses all other RPG games.
-Another way to distribute wealth throughout Torncity.
-Both investors and the owner of the company will have financial gains.

-Sooner or later will replace the current stock market of TC
-Reduces the fluctuation and the generation of money through the stock market.
-If it replaces the stock market, the stock market/economy will be based solely on the performance and activeness of the companies in torncity, if companies strive, the stock market strives which means he economy is striving vice versa. (other then the medical field)

First, you need to think through how this can be manipulated. Stop and consider the director can manipulate the company's price by how he runs it.

I was figuring someone made it before haha, Im still figuring out how the director can manipulate how the company is.
One he might set everything to zero, and cause the stock shares to decrease, and then once he fixes everything and the company gains profits, the shares sky rocket, this can lead to insider trading which is one of the biggest problems in the world today.

Although I agree that it would be cool, I would be a bit concerned about buying a lot of stock in someone's company that could potentially close shop at any time or do something for me to lose the value of my shares. Most people don't want their money in someone else's control.
