My suggestion is to have education that will help with Organized Crimes. Might need a little tweaking but this is what I have so far:
Organized Crime studies
Introduction to organised crimes
- Cost 10 energy, $1000, 15 respect Gain 5 manual, 10 intel, 15 endurance. 1 week
- Specials (none)
Trends in organized crimes
- Cost 15 energy, $2500, 100 respect Gain 5 manual, 10 intel, 15 endurance. 2 weeks
- Specials (Increases the chance of OC success by 5%)
Organization theory
- Cost 20 energy, $3750, 250 respect Gain 15 manual, 25 intel, 10 endurance. 4 weeks
- Specials (Reduce Planning time of organised crime by 5%)
Network analysis
- Cost 25 energy, $2500, 150 respect Gain 10 manual, 50 intel, 30 endurance. 2 weeks
- Specials (none)
Activities
- Cost 25 energy, $30000, 225 respect Gain 20 manual, 50 intel, 10 endurance. 3 weeks
- Specials (Reduce jail / hospital time by 10% on OC failure)
Legal nexus
- Cost 20 energy, $34500, 200 respect Gain 25 manual, 10 intel, 35 endurance. 3 weeks
- Specials (Reduce the chance of going to jail or being hospitalised on OC failure)
Meta-level
- Cost 15 energy, $1750, 50 respect Gain 45 manual, 25 intel, 15 endurance. 2 weeks
- Specials (Gain +1 max nerve (permanent))
Methodology
- Cost 30 energy, $5000, 0 respect Gain 10 manual, 20 intel, 15 endurance. 3 weeks
- Specials (none)
Cultural Deviance
- Cost 25 energy, $10000, 500 respect Gain 30 manual, 25 intel, 20 endurance. 4 weeks
- Specials (Gain 10% more respect per successful organised crime initiated)
Bachelor
- Cost 10 energy, $10,000,000, 1,500 respect Gain 25 manual, 100 intel, 35 endurance. 6 weeks
- Specials (10% increase in organised crime success for an OC you are chosen for and reduce OC planning time by a further 10%
or Automatically groups the best group of available faction members for the chosen OC)
Edit: After taking some suggestions into consideration I would then suggest the following:
OC reduction time does not stack per member having done the education. Reduction time is the lowest reduction % of education that an OC team member has completed. So if we have 5 members in an OC, 3 of them having completed bachelors reducing planning time by 15% total and only 2 having done the 5% reduction, then the 5% reduction applies to the OC.
You do not lose the specials if you leave the faction but the entire team chosen for the particular OC has to have completed the relevant education for the special to be in effect, bar the education that gives you +1 max nerve (that is per individual)
Took out the one-man OC as this was generally not thought of as a good idea
Reduced the cost of the bachelor education from 10,000 respect to 1,500 respect
By Link [1413750]
1. The education must be taken by all members of an OC team, or it is not effective at all.
2. The education must be taken in a faction, and if you leave the faction you 'lose' that education (because you are no longer with the 'team' that you studied/worked with)
|

1. Added to my edit
2. The education has to be taken in a faction as each course costs respect. This will have to be authorized by faction leader or co-leader
By CravenTHC [1569996]
Some further ideas I just had:
Give all factions an upgrade similar to the laboratory that would have a minimal respect level of 5,000 required. This "classroom" upgrade would allow new organized studies to take place. All members placed into this class would have to forgo other education courses, and participation in organized crimes for the duration of the study course.

I like the idea. Maybe criminology would be a better title for this. R+ btw.

A couple of them stand out as needing to be changed, mostly these 2.
- Specials (Reduce jail / hospital time by 50% on OC failure)
Kinda super over powered? Maybe change to 5%
- Specials (Unlocks a new OC which can only requires one faction member)
Defeats the purpose of OCs/faction crimes having ones that 1 member can do.

If all members in an oc have the -5% OC time, will they add up giving a good reduce in organizing time?Same in case of 5% succes rate, 10% respect gain.
This is a very good suggestion. But how is it possible a single persons education affects all members in an OC positively?
If 1 person can do a crime, We dont need to discuss or organise it, he can just go and do it.

Thanks for suggestions / improvements. Will update accordingly.
OC reduction time should not stack, similarly with the other gains
Same as enormity affects crime success to all members.
The one person OC will be an unlock feature and can be used by those one-man factions out there.

I am not completely opposing the idea, but saying, just one persons education must affect only him and gain him more. And if all in same OC did these education, only 1 persons Education is put to use.
I like the specials that reduce the jail/hospital time, The less chance being caught or hosped.
Ched dont want many more one man faction as factions are used as bank and as cost of a new faction depends on the current amount of faction(total factions* 1,000), ched added the new law of auto loosing 1 respect per day, so faction's owned by quitted and low active players gets auto deleted....The new OC(which is not actually we can call OrganisedCrime) will surely lead to increase of factions and those stands for long time.
I suggest as all members in OC are equally important, these specials are triggered only when all the members in the OC has completed the same education.

You just can't have personal educations boosting OC success rates - it's too overpowered at the higher end of the OC scale (eg. for PA's) so imo it will never happen (Ched as a general rule wants to take money out of the game, not give a few lucky factions an easier path to farming high-end OC's for cash).
In addition the one-man OC isn't viable either - OC's conceptually require teamwork (which is why there isn't a one-man OC right now).
I don't mind some of the other suggestions though.

I really like this idea in theory.
However as other people have stated, it's too overpowered in the way that you have suggested it. One person's education should not affect an entire OC team.
What about something like:
1. The education must be taken by all members of an OC team, or it is not effective at all.
2. The education must be taken in a faction, and if you leave the faction you 'lose' that education (because you are no longer with the 'team' that you studied/worked with)
3. If the above, why can't you plan the education like an OC? It could of course take a couple weeks or a month even, and during that time, members could not be used in regular OC's
If you did that, then you'd only need to have 1 or 2 courses, with the 1 or 2 benefits of it (no cash increases though) - planning time reduction and small increase to likelihood of success are pretty good, and don't overpower it imho.
No rating for now, but I do like the general idea

Make it as link suggested.A group of faction members together must join Education. And no one must get kicked in that time.

thumbs up. maybe a pendent course could be Alternative Income studies:
Black market 101:
learn how to sell stolen items.
Locksmith
learn how to break and enter...
Piano Virtuoso.
You learn to have very nimble fingers, making you much harder to be caught stealing from shops and pickpocketing (+5% crime success)
basically similar but with focus on crime instead of OC crime.

I would suggest moving the special of "Cultural Deviance" to the special for "Methodology". I say this because it seems that a class that costs 30 energy, $5,000, and takes 4 weeks to complete should give something other than work stats. Meanwhile "Cultural Deviance" gives 500 respect and a special while it costs less energy and takes a week less. Other than that I'm rating this +. Very good idea you have there.
It could also be included that only the lowest education time upgrade would apply for reduction. So say 5 people have to take the class at the same time, and 4 of them have a 20% or greater education reduction. If the other one person in the class has 10% or less that is the reduction value you apply to the overall course. Either that or no reduction until the OC reductions are gained.

- Cost 10 energy, $10,000,000, 1,500 respect Gain 25 manual, 100 intel, 35 endurance. 6 weeks

I think the cost for the bachelors should be more, considering the fact that your getting a lot of respect and having the bachelors add a % boost to successful OC's.

This is a respect cost to take the education. You don't get the respect for doing the education
