Nope, I dont think any penalty in terms of money or energy is required, because when you quit the course, you arent reimbursed the money and energy you spent on starting the course(when you havent got any stocks). Its realistic, because in real life too, you always have the option to walk out of class if you feel like.
Penalty, if you really wish to introduce it, should be more like the racing penalty. When you quit a course, you should be asked to wait for 15 hours before you can join any other course. That would introduce the chances that you forget to start the course after 15 hours and thus lose more time than you anticipated. You can call the 15 hours as the "Black Listed Period" when you're in the bad books of all the course professors for having walked out of a previous class.
What say?
(my apologies if someone has already suggested the exact same idea...i didnt read many comments)
Hiring for 5* Cruise Liner| 25k intel/ 20k end and above! 350k-700k! also selling my 5* sports team holds 42 employees...looking for around 2.2b!
A penalty was part of the original idea, I just forgot to add it because I was posting this suggestion while editing that big honors guide I have in suggestions. Guess I got lost in thought with both threads .
As far as the the fact you get asked with a confirmation page well the general idea is that this is for those who change their mind while taking the course and it wouldn't take long to implement something as simple as this.
If a penalty is added, then might not be a bad idea. Rate +
I concur....add a penalty and it sounds good to me
What time is it boys and girls?? Its Ass kickin' time!!

you lose the money, Energy, and whatever progress you had.
I like the idea..But there should be a penalty of some sort for quitting it. Maybe 2 weeks without the option to join another course? or a Highe Fee for that course, because you quit the last one, or whatever...=) I had mentioned this idea, in my very early years in the game....sufficed to say, you got better replies than i ever did...lol

I tried a cooldown period but many who saw this suggestion at first didn't like the idea but if it was maybe for that specific course you quit and not education in general I think a 2-3 week cool down sounds logical
You could also have like a probationary period, as in, when you start a course, you can either A: Must stay in the course for a certain amount of time, then you can leave or B: When you start a course, you have 1 week to decide, if you like it or not, and if you dont, then you can leave before the weeks up. or, depending on the duration of the course, if the course your taking is 3 weeks and less, then its manditory that you stay, however, if the course is longer than 3 weeks, then you get the option to leave, with a penalty...
Just a thought...

good idea but people should choose carefully when attending classes.. and if it was upgraded, not fair for old players who waited like months to end it after choosing wrong one..

for us, it awesomeeeeeeeeee
No sure how it would be unfair for older players who can easily afford the courses and have completed usually around 4-6 of them.
