Being able to put on some clothes would be good. You equip them like armour.

- People could see what you wear on your profile.

- Some clothes could overlap each other e.g.
A T-shirt with an armour type and a jacket

- Most clothes also have a variety of colours, you can change colours at the clothing store for no extra cost or a small nominal fee.
Colours do not affect stats.

- Most clothing can get bloodstained or even worn out (especially when the player is in a lot fights). The more worn out the less effective it is. Forcing players to buy new and helping more money out of TC.

- Jewellery items wear out much more quickly.

- Not completely sure if normal armour should get worn out. It would be realistic but given some armour types are quite expensive people might not like it.

- You would have several slots to equip clothes:


Pretty kickass idea actually! I hope you don't mind if i break it down and share my opinion? I really like this...Idk if it should go through different levels of effectiveness or simply have a durability and is destroyed when it's run out although a bloodstained status would be pretty badass and, if it were desired, could even give some sort of bonus. I am indifferent about armor wearing out, it'd make some flights more worthwhile to do armor runs imo.

Head:
Hats give + 10 happy
Helmets reduce head damage.
Bandana As a gang symbol it gives a slightly faster nerve regeneration but you lose a lot of company productivity.


I like it but instead of nerve regen for the bandana, perhaps it could simply give you a *chance* to retain nerve after a crime? such as if you do arson the crime, you could randomly cost 9-10 nerve instead when you're lucky

these perks are good though so it brings me to an issue i'll address at the bottom.

Neck:
Tie Slight productivity boost in office type companies but -10 happy.
Necklace Gives faster happy regeneration but very high change of being broken in an attack.


why would ties reduce happy? I enjoy wearing ties. I think this would make more sense if ties gave a passive working stat boost depending on the type of tie. bowties +INT , necktie +END , Shoestring ties +MAN

As for necklaces...again, retaining may be better...something bothers me about changing regen rates although I guess it is fine but the idea of retaining happy when it should be lost may be a bit better


Torso:
*name here* armour current armour types.
T-shirts, tank-tops, sweaters and other type of shirts can hide your normal armour
Dresses Same as above + Reduce chances of being hit in the groin and legs.
Jackets, *Kevlar trench coat (the current armour one) - +10 happy, can hide your normal/other armour.

*Kevlar trench coat still gives the armour protection, perhaps slightly less for balance.


I think here it'd simply be easier to have a torso, armor, and a jacket/covergarment slot instead of stacking things in one category...I imagine from the earlier example that's what you meant but the presentation of it here seems awkward.

Most shirts and especially tank-tops are undergarments so idk if they should get that perk or come up with something else. Perhaps t-shirts could have Novelty shirts so that when they attack someone or are attacked, their oppenent reads their shirt at the end of battle so as a means to leave a message.

Can you imagine checking your events to see:
"Someone attacked you and hospitalized you. As you lost consciousness that last thing you saw was 'Trololol'"

or whatever silly stuff the shirts have on them. I imagine the shirts would simply be bought with a premade message on them...but that's just something to think about to increase the attractiveness of them, idk if it's really plausible honestly...

Other shirts could provide small boosts like working stats, gym train bonus for tank tops, a small amount of happy retention when it's supposed to be lost for expensive stuff, or various other things like that.

The current benefit for shirts would be great for the covering items like sweaters and some jackets, Idk enough about armor mechanics to say if Kevlar trench coat should be nerfed or not so i'm rather indifferent but if they were to break faster in combat since they're on the outside i don't really see the problem. Idk why it's related to happy in any way though...I'd think most clothing is a matter of opinion so unless it's something like a Christmas Sweater which is always ugly so obviously -happy, the clothes should really *try* at least to avoid happiness although there's some cases where it simply makes sense.

Arm (Left & Right):
Watches, rings, bracelets Gives slightly faster happy regeneration.
Gloves give slight damage boost in fist attacks or decreases damage to the hands.


Unless your gloves are knuckle dusters (which i guess is possible,) idk why they'd help your fist attacks...if anything they'd muffle the impact... They should protect from hand damage though but perhaps depending on the types of gloves they can do things like, give a small chance for speed reloading which won't cost a turn during combat, increase some crime successes, or boost mugging amounts.

I assume you can have watch/bracelet for a single slot and then one or two slots for rings, right? Perhaps watches could give a small boost to certain crimes/OCs where timing is important and bracelets keep the benefit you have there but you only have one slot to choose one or the other?

Rings break too correct? Perhaps wedding bands could have an enhanced effect from their normal ring class and be indestructible?

Legs:
Pair of trousers Slightly reduces damage to the legs.
Skirt Slight passive bonus to dexterity.


idk why leggings always get shafted...some of these things have tons of really good options but there's alot more possibilities than just protecting your shame...

trousers and slacks should do something involved with companies, jobs or job points for starter jobs...perhaps they give a chance of earning extra job points?

heavy leggings from (denims - shinguards - heavy/camo leggings - leg armours) should reduce damage to legs/groin and also have the highest durability

and running shorts should be added along with the skirts group but perhaps increase runaway chances instead?

cargo pants and shorts are always a possibility too, who wouldn't want to be able to carry 1-2 extra items in their pants? If that were added though I think i'd have to use the extra slot for a spear whenever I go to africa

Feet:
Pair of trainers Helps running away
High heels* - Huge damage increase in kick attacks but makes successfully running away extremely hard.
Boots Small damage boost done to kick attacks.


Perhaps the running shoes could also give you chance of getting a bonus train in speed gym trains? Boots should really decrease stealth as well. idk how ppl will respond to having high heels changed...may need to tweak that simply for popularity but i think it's spot on.

NOTE: these are only examples!!


Maybe but i really like your idea here, i see alot of potential, it'd be a great update but it'd be a rather big one too.

Here's some things i think are worth mentioning:


Changing Clothes-

Just looking at the head slot i realized something. There are TONS of possible abuse systems simply by changing out clothes at certain times.

There'd have to be a system to prevent that. Either a cooldown to changing clothes (although putting something on where there is nothing if it's broken or whatever would ignore the cooldown,) some temporary debuff after changing clothes, or possibly having a "Travelling" type status for changing clothes that lasts a few minutes but can't even do laptop stuff.

Personally I would lean towards the cooldown idea.


Underwear-

There's plenty already in-game, do you plan to implement any undergarments into the game? I assume a shirt slot would be one, a pants one could be relevant too.


TC Clothing stock-

TCC could be implemented into this idea too, perhaps change the bb to some rare clothing (like the novelty shirts or perhaps novelty shirts you can write your own message on) or if that novelty shirt idea isn't so popular, simply giving random clothing would be very nice.

of course the dividends are simple money no issues so perhaps it could get a second benefit at higher share amount? that'd be pretty crazy right? perhaps at 1m shares?


Well i really did enjoy reading your suggestion, it's really good, i hope it's taken into consideration and hopefully I've helped a bit with my criticisms.
