I plan on having lamb for New Year's Day dinner and was wondering if anyone had a good recipe.

Get a nice leg of lamb, crush some garlic, coarsely chopped rosemary, a litlle squeeze of lemon juice, however much salt and pepper you want, bit of olive oil to bring it all together. If you're having potatoes, put them in the same roasting tin with the lamb on top, that way the potatoes will kind of absorb the flavour of the juices that come off the lamb. Roast it at 200c. The time it needs will depend on the size of the leg, but 2kg needs about an hour and a half.

Add some mint sauce and you're good to go
