So as most of you may know, the disaster at Fukushima Daiichi is nowhere near under control and radiation hot spots are appearing in the USA and Europe. Radioactive debris is now beginning to be washed up on the west coast of America.

Pacific bluefin tuna are being caught worldwide with contamination.
[flash=370x600]http://www.youtube.com/v/bvKIQmHJEZ4[/flash]
The Japanese government are known to have lied to the world and it's own people about the disaster from day 1.

It is still leaking today and reactor 4 is on the edge of catastrophic collapse, some scientists believe it could be an " end to the western world as we know it" event.

So are you worried about it, do you have any questions or information you could share.
It would be interesting if there are any Japanese residents playing torn. Maybe they could give some upto the minute information.

Yeah I'm worried about it. Who wouldn't be worried about radiation appearing all around the world. Why worry now though? I mean countries have been testing Nuclear weapons all around the globe as well. Some countries have even attacked other people because they were protesting against Nuclear testing.

Not sure about your facts but I know that if the cooling chamber on no.4 fails it could release 10 times the radiation of the Chernobyl disaster.
And I was wondering how the radioactive debris situation was being reported in the US and Canada.
Japanese kids are now showing signs of thyroid problems and their government are still lying to the people..shocking.

Yeah, It is shocking. I'm not sure about my rant now either.
This issue doesn't appear to be getting anywhere near the attention it should be, I'll say that.

Well it is considered to be the worst nuclear accident in human history, so I guess I'm surprised about the lack of interest too.

Did you hear about Japan Atomic Power's Tsuruga nuclear power plant in Fukui prefecture?
Apparently it has an active fault line running under it. They are thinking about scrapping their No.2 reactor because it sits directly above the fault.

I have seen some news but I will be taking a better look at it this week. Tanks for the tip.
In relation to Fukushima the resent earthquake seams to have had a small effect on the site but with Tepco lying who knows the real situation. Japan media reported spike in radiation releases at nuclear fuel plant after recent M7.3 quake but who knows if we're getting the true levels.
Hawaii is now receiving the debris and it's also hitting the US mainland. Fun times ahead as well as hot particals in the air, Japan are reportedly burning radioactive debris because they have no idea what to do with it.
America you are under attack and you don't know it, blame your media.
And in Fukushima its self, A Door-to-door surveys revealed clusters of Fukushima residents with persistent nose bleeds, diarrhea — Fallout refugees talk about bizarre rashes, high fevers, more.
All good stuff to think about in the festive season ahead, but when your celebrating try to spare a thought for the poor people of Japan and anyone affected by this the world's worst nuclear accident.

When chernobyl blew up, the government didn't warn anyone about it, so a radioactive raincloud came across europe & made many people ill. I understand alot of people became ill from this, but alot of people got through it. There are actually some Radioactive hotspots in Snowdon, Wales' highest Mountain. So the world will not end from another seriously damaged Nuclear Power Plant.
I also watched a documentary about a year after the disaster, and they interviewed a family that have been affected by the blast from the first explosion. The roads were blocked & everyone was stuck in their cars on the roads when the reactor blew. Everyone on the roads got a high dose of radiation, & the children of that family (& other families) must now wear Radiation meters for some reason...

your eating food ain't ya?
Well its happening to you then.
Your breathing that air ain't ya?
Well its happening to you then.
You eat fish don't ya.?
Well its happening to you then.
There are a lot of ifs in the world today, but I guarantee you this, you or someone you know will have their health affected by radiation from Fukushima. Its a fact.
And there are steps you can take to minimize your risk but you dont hear about it because....
....GE make the reactors, GE own the press.
Videos are being pulled from YouTube.
Images are being photoshoped to hide the truth.
People that speak about the lies of tepco are being arrested.
But hey if its not happening in your backyard, why worry right.

Magnus watch this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v68AqC_3MBU
Cesium-137 at the Fukushima Daiichi site is 85 times greater than at Chernobyl.
Based on U.S. Energy Department data, I assume a total of 11,138 spent fuel assemblies are being stored at the Daiichi site, nearly all of which is in pools. They contain roughly 336 million curies (~1.2 E+19 Bq) of long-lived radioactivity. About 134 million curies is Cesium-137 - roughly 85 times the amount of Cs-137 released at the Chernobyl accident as estimated by the U.S. National Council on Radiation Protection (NCRP). The total spent reactor fuel inventory at the Fukushima-Daiichi site contains nearly half of the total amount of Cs-137 estimated by the NCRP to have been released by all atmospheric nuclear weapons testing, Chernobyl, and world-wide reprocessing plants (~270 million curies or ~9.9 E+18 Becquerel).
It is important for the public to understand that reactors that have been operating for decades, such as those at the Fukushima-Dai-Ichi site have generated some of the largest concentrations of radioactivity on the planet.
Many of our readers might find it difficult to appreciate the actual meaning of the figure, yet we can grasp what 85 times more Cesium-137 than Chernobyl would mean. It would destroy the world environment and our civilization. This is not rocket science, nor does it connect to the pugilistic debate over nuclear power plants. This is an issue of human survival.

I'm not really worried, because There are many radioactive disasters that happen worldwide.
Goiania, Brazil 1987:
On September 13th, Scavengers stole a radiotherapy machine from an abandoned hospital for scrap metal. the 3 men began to dismantle it at one of their homes, they began to vomit that same night, but carried on dismantling. One of the men's hand began to swell, & had to have his arm amputated a month later. The other man continued working & eventually retrieved the Caesium capsule. He pierced the capsule & saw a blue glowing light inside. He took the scrap metal to a scrapyard where the Scrapyard owner saw the blue glow & had friends & family view the glowing substance. The owner sold the rest of the metal to another scrapyard. The scrapyard owner's brother managed to scrape some dust particles of the glowing substance, he went home & put some on his floor, his daughter later ate a sandwich on the floor, & played with the dust. The wife of the Scrapyard owner became ill & alerted the authorities. The wife of the scrapyard owner later went to the other scrapyard to retrieve the metal, & took it to a hospital. The daughter was kept in an isolated room, but developed swelling, hair loss, Internal Bleeding, Kidney & lung damage & died on October 23, 1987. The scrapyard owner's wife's condition got worse, as she developed internal bleeding in the eyes, limbs & digestive tract, hair loss & died October 23, 1987. An employee who extracted the lead from the capsule, got respiratory complications & died October 27, 1987. Another employee who worked on the capsule, died on October 18 1987 from Heart & lung damage & internal bleeding.
The owner of the Scrapyard survived although recieving a higher amount of radiation.

Another couple of stories:
In May 1998 a Caesium-137 source somehow wasn't detected by monitoring equipment in a metal reprocessing plant in Spain. The metal from a Gamma-ray generator was melted down, releasing a radiation cloud. The chimney detectors failed to detect anything, although it was detected in other Western European countries. 6 people were exposed to low levels of Caesium-137 contamination.
In 2009 China, a Cement company was demolishing an unused cement factory but did not follow rules on handling radioactive materials. Caesium-137 from a piece of old measuring equipment was with 8 truckloads of scrap on it's way to a Steel mill, where the Caesium was melted down into the steel.

Mate I just don't know how wrong one person could be. The two stories your talking about involved tiny amounts of radioactive material.
Chernobyl did this

And the Russians used 600 thousand workers to contain 1 reactor.
In Fukushima they have 3 reactors that have gone critical. They don't know the whereabouts of the fission material. It has burnt through the containment and is in the ground. They have absolutely no way of controlling this reaction. Its still burning and still giving off radiation.
In Chernobyl the 600 thousand workers managed to stop this from happening. A lot of them dieing in the process.
And on top of all that they have a storage pool that must remain full of water at all times. Its 60ft in the air balancing on crumbling concrete. On a site that is now confirmed as the most contaminated place on the earth. !
If this pool ignited it would release more radiation than all the bombs and all the tests conducted
Sine the 1950's.
When the truth eventually gets revealed about the way Tepco has lied about this continuing situation it will be to late for the world to do anything.

This is a very good radio interview that explains why we should all be worried about the biggest nuclear disaster man has ever faced.
The first 5 mins is crap but the next 50 mins will shock you all.
