I plan to go paintballing in the next few weeks, I have gone 9 times before but I have never really planned it before I just book it and go, but this time I thought it might be better to make sure I have high energy drinks snacks etc so I dont become exausted by the end of the day like I have a couple of times before.

I was thinking of brigning this food/drinks but i allso want any other advice on what types of food I should bring with me, from what I have heard any food containing fruit or vegtables or high amounts of fat isent a good idea exept bananas.

The night before I plan to have a large meal of pasta and chicken I have read many athlets do this so they have allot on energy the next day, I could allso bring some on the day for lunch and as a snack when I feel a bit hungry.

I plan to bring 1 to 2 litres of some kind of energy drink most likely a red bull copy brand like kx.

The rest of the stuff im not sure about I have read that bananaa and nuts are good high energy foods but what others are there?.

Please, please don't.

That is the biggest rock of meth I have ever seen.

This thread is now a party.

OP, when I go hiking I usually take a can of nuts, almonds or something, some apples, and maybe one or two bananas that I eat early on. Bananas don't hold up real well to a really big ass-kicking in your backpack if you're moving around a lot. I wouldn't take energy drinks unless you have enough to last. Once they wear off you're going to be dragging ass. I'd just take water, and get lots of sleep the night before.

Taking that much energy drink is stupid, just take water.
Just take something like peanut butter sandwiches.
I highly doubt eating any sort of food is going to give you that much of an edge, unless everybody else is eating somethinh like pizza that is going to make them lethargic.

On a side note, paintballing is shit (Y)

so despite your habits you still think eating differently during that day and the day before will make any difference?

what's next? iron man competition after a whole weekend eating pasta and chicken?

I prefer using weights to waights when working out, I dunno, it just always made more sense to me (I know, THAT'S the one word I complain about but still)

also spurtung is more sassy than twatty, but he raises a good point, you need to eat your chicken and pasta at least 2 days before the event to nullify your terrible fitness and habits, It's basic science

Wouldn't meth or, say, a gram of coke take up a lot less room than all those fruit & nuts, thus allowing you more room in your backpack for things like diapers, duct tape, or emergency pornography?
