Can I just point out that the democrats ran a much better campaign than the Republicans. there was so much infighting and confusion on the right that it hinted at deeper problems. Mitt was supposed to focus on the economy but the culture wars kept stepping on his message.
Also if "Liberty dies" in the US it will not be because of a few politicians. the fact that people without electricity would line up to vote. is very encouraging. Look for a move to modernize voting procedures and and end to the anti voter measures attempted this year.
