The new soccer season has begun and what a great season its going to be it is going to be hard in the premier league and the championship.I wonder who is going to win the titles in both these leagues and who are going to be the surprise packages of the season. So let the debate begin.
Dont care who wins, as long as its not Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool or Man C, i want someone outside the big 5 to win, Newcastle Utd or Tottenham ftw

you are in for a very disappointing season then (also Liverpool to win it? wouldn't consider them the big 5...)
I'm so good, on my birthday I phone my mum to congratulate her

Spurs... Villa Boas is going to ruin another team.
Liverpool... they look lost. They could finish nearer the bottom than the top from what I see.
Man U... too much of a good thing maybe? V. Persie only played a few minutes, but he didn't seem to be in the groove. That should change.
Everton... they looked pretty damn good to me. Should have been more than 1 - 0, but De Gea actually looked good for a change.
Arsenal better find someone to replace V. Persie... Dempsey it should be, I think.
South Hampton looked pretty good... OR Man City has crap defense... you pick.
Those are the only matches I saw, so that is all I can comment in on.
Should be a fun year.
And yes, we Yanks call it soccer, and we thank the Brit who came up with the name, so we can be unique and odd, and thank our cousins across the pond for the ability.

give vilas boas some time, good manager even if he is bringing in an awkward system, and everton always have random games where they play like title contenders, utd just got unlucky (also De Gea is a top notch Keeper, too many people judge him on his first few matches, no-one mentions schmicheals first matches, only to amazing years after them, he has skill that has been showing for the past 6 months
also Dempsey is mid table, maybe title 5th as a back up player at best

I don't agree with you. Villa Boas may be a good manager... once he learns to adjust his system to his players, and not expect his players to adjust to his system. His whole career has been 5 years or so, and he had success once. Time will tell if he is any good, or just hype.
De Gea is okay at keeper. He may become great... he is just to unsure of himself at the moment, and that is to be expected at 21 yo.
Dempsey is better than a back up player, please. The guy was fourth in Premiership player of the season last year. He isn't Van Persie, but he would make a nice addition to a any team in need of a no nonsense attacker.

De Gea's confidence is building, this season will be very good for him unless injury happens, I know it, and Dempsey had one decent season (and has Fulhams main man) if liverpool buys him they aren't looking to move forward, just not fall backwards

Another shaky effort by De Gea. If you are going to come out to challenge a corner... come hard or just hold your spot. I love the looks he gave Vidic, who was at least playing hard. All the money Man U spends on players, and De Gea is the best keeper they can buy? I would say he is the weakest player on this squad at the moment.
Chelsea looked strong today. But, I think they should go after Dempsey to be honest. I think he would be a good fit to support Torres.
Liverpool - I am so disappointed to the team at the moment. Kicked off fa cup and struggling start against Zenit on Europe League. Lads, you could do better than this.
