Pires being the most famous? Are you serious. One player.

Mind explaining to me how more than one player could be the most famous?

Good argument -.- and I did say 'probably'. His dive is pretty infamous for anyone older than 12 years old though. Certainly had more air time than any other single dive in the prem.

Ronaldo? Nani? Klinsmann? Cleary you haven't been watching football for quite some time. You're saying Pires is the most famous [In the Premier League] when according to the rest of the population it's most likely to be either Ronaldo/Nani/Young (Nowadays).
And more air time than any other dive? In the premier League? How old are you, probably no more than 18 with the stupid statements you're making, (or older than 50 to match you're delusional self), air-time isn't measured and with the amount of divers the Premier League has had, the idiotic statement stands as it is, your opinion.

And I have been saying their history, not the last few years. Quit picking up bits of my argument to rally against and ignoring the wider picture which is actually being pretty fair just because you cant stand to hear one bad word about the club.

Me picking bits? You're the one picking bits about Arsenal and diving. Why don't you yourself look at the bigger picture instead of butting into an argument (A diving argument between a Tottenham fan and I), which frankly has nothing to do with you or your Toon army (or whatever it is), who will most likely end up 6th in the Premier League just so you know.
And you never said you were talking about Arsenal History. If you talk about Arsenal History then go over the 126 years of history of Arsenal otherwise don't mention it in the first place you tool.

They used to be one of the worst, theyre better now. but it all evens out. So for fans of one team to moan about fans of another is hypocritical.Note thats named at all fans moaning about diving whilst defending their own team. Yes it includes you, but not just arsenal.

One of the worst? According to what? You? The same person who said Pires is the most famous in the Premier League for diving. Nice try.

(Also, saying they never mince is bollocks, just some other teams in the prem do it more at the mo. Stop being a bummy fanboy and try objectivity and accept that Arsenal aren't infallible against the complete evil of all others. You tool. I was clearly referring to players of all teams who do it.)

Bwahahahahha...
Me the bummy fanboy?
More like you in the invading troll.
When did I say Arsenal are infallible, I actually admitted that Arsenal did dive when I said 'And Arsenal never 'mince' about on the floor, at-least for the past few years.' which meant that before 3 years ago, yes Arsenal did dive, and obviously I'm not going to admit that to the WHOLE WORLD FOOL, you're the one picking about bits to continue an argument probably for another delusioned reason to match your self stated facts...

Pires dive was back when diving was a rarity in the game, hence its prominence. Ronaldo normalised diving in the premier league, though.

The scum? Sorry this isn't a thread for whichever team you support

And I think his shooting ability is what we need, a proper striker who can finish those killer balls from wingers around him or from midfielders behind him....it's mainly what we've lacked and that's where RVP has had to step up....
I still think that the CAM and LB is quite shallow, and by shallow I mean quality-wise.

Sensational striker with a cannon of a left foot which is probably what we've lacked in the offensive department, directness in front of goal. Still agree it's a bit dodgy though....

Francis Coquelin has been pleasantly surprised by the number of first-team opportunities he has had this season.

The youngster’s versatility has seen him feature in the full-back positions as well as his customary role in central midfield, and he is likely to be involved at West Bromwich Albion on Sunday with Bacary Sagna sidelined by injury.

Coquelin completed a successful season-long loan at Ligue 1 outfit Lorient last year and the 20-year-old has continued his progress in Arsène Wenger’s first-team set-up.

“When I look back at this season I would say I am really happy,” Coquelin told Arsenal Player. “I didn't expect to play that much in the first place and I had my chance this season to show what I can do on the pitch.

“Obviously a few injuries have backed me off a bit but I am generally pleased with the season. The manager trusts me as a right back or a left back. At some points in the season we had a lot of injuries so that helped me to get a lot of games.”

Sunday’s trip to West Brom has been billed as a ‘cup final’ and Coquelin insists the squad have put in some hard yards in preparation.

“It [third place] could have been finished after Norwich because after the other results we could have qualified for the Champions League,” said the midfielder. “But we drew and now we need to win this game against West Brom.

“It is the last game of the season and all the staff and all of the players want to end up with this third place. We are all looking forward to it.

“When we came back to the training ground on Monday everybody knew it would be a tough week. The weekend is going to be an important one, everybody is concentrating on it and I think everybody is ready to fight for this third place.”

Happy St Totteringham's day everyone.

BWAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHAH...:

O Tot-numb dear Tot-numb! Your fearful trip is done,

You ended one behind the Arse, it must feel like you won,

This is our year, it’s us they fear, the cockerels all exulted,

Your strongest squad in fifty years, with two that we rejected;

But O ‘Arry! ‘Arry! ‘Arry!

Succumbed to the mighty Red,

Dreamt he would be England boss,

A-twitching his big head.

O Tot-numb dear Tot-numb! Wake up and smell the roses,

Wake up, the Gunners are in third, we’re looking down our noses;

You were once thirteen points ahead, your Bale as good as Leo,

But then the mighty Sagna struck, then Robin, Tom and Theo;

Here Tot-numb! Dear Chokers!

Do let us shake your hand,

Or else we’d upset Allen,

That cultured two-bob man.

O Tot-numb, do get real, you’ll ne’er be kings of the North,

This is as good as it can get, you ended up in fourth,

You thought you could be champions, the dream it was alive,

But then upon the Holloway Road, you crashed into 2-5;

Us Gooners are so gracious,

To you, we doff our cap,

We warned you in September, yet

You didn't mind the gap.

Not mine by the way but it's absolutely class.

"People at Arsenal tried to make out that I came here for the money.
I hope they are watching me now, collecting my Premier League winners medal. I believe they have not won a trophy for many years now.
If all that I was interested in was money, the easiest decision would have been to stay at Arsenal, picking up my money every week and walking into the team. There are many people doing this right now at Arsenal.
I made the hard choice to come and fight for my place at a big club, where they never settle for second best and I have proved it correct. I now hope the Arsenal fans can get on with their lives and forget me, they should celebrate their third place achievement and I will focus on winning titles."

A small club?
Pfffff get lost, Wenger had to build the team on the fly- literally.

However unlike last year with the dodgy scramblings right at the end of the transfer period, the board can think through clearly and buy with more clarity in mind and the gelling period comes early during pre-season or during the tours which equals to an extremely good team ready for the premier league.

Otherwise Arsenal would've been competing for 2nd place more strongly and who knows, maybe even 1st but that still some time away so i.e you're an idiot for saying we just care about beating spurs, we don't, they do. Know why? Because we're used to being ahead of them.

And how do Arsenal fans make themself look like angels? No-one in football is an angel -except Lampard (he likes to play clean and I respect that- and I don't see anyone denying it. Every team at some point cheat and every fan base always wants their team to be in the good, it called being a fan.

i don't know if i would call you completely a small club(that really depends on how you look at it) but your definitely becoming one... (one or 2 stages away from Liverpool) there really is no doubt about that sold nasri sold fabregas henry now rvp? (why have they left?) wenger has yet another chance for signings he knew fabregas wanted to leave he knew rvp etc.. so again he has no excuses if he doesn't sign any decent players.. you only signed players at the end because united went out and forced you too.. your target is to get top 4 every season not win the league please do not pretend otherwise not even close to united or city...he needs to spend the money it's there 8 years

you should be better than this it's sad that one of the true clubs of our league is just falling yet arsenal fans seem to be oblivious

look at the arsenal fan above you who thinks you have no serial divers now or in the past...you do try and make yourselves look like angels..
