Does any one have one yet? Is it worth the money?

I don't personally have one but I've heard from a few people that it's not as good as other smart watches out there. I've heard good things about the pebble though.

I've read and watched a few reviews on it, and I think it's the fact of the price and somewhat limited functionability that people don't like.
I'm a massive tech fan, and have had the galaxy note 3 for over a month now and love it.
Considering getting the gear, but am still swithering whether to wait until the gear 2 comes out.

Decided to go out and get myself one yesterday.
I love it.

It is just a gimmick, but it's very useful when busy. I can continue what I'm doing and speak on the phone at the same time.

The voice recognition needs a bit more work, but it understands what your saying about 70% of the time.

I got myself a Sony Smartwatch 2...

Not enough apps available yet for it, and no sports scores app... once the battery ran out i put it aside and haven't worn since...

There was a recent update on the Gear where you can get notifications for all apps you have installed. Not tried it with a sports app yet, as I don't really follow sports, but I can only assume if your phone gets notifications from the app, the Gear would get one.

Samsung just need to work on the length of notifications you can read, and it would be near perfect just now.

The only time I don't wear the Gear is when I'm sleeping, working out or showering. I love it.

Very overpriced, and would probably recommend people to wait until it drops in price after xmas, but if you have a smartphone it works with, it's amazing.
