The expert programmer language.

The famous REPL:
(loop (print (eval (read))))

Just so logical``!''

Even though C isn't bad, say you want to print from 1 to 10, you'll be thinking along the lines of
import stdio.h

int main(){
  for (int i=1; i<=10; i++) {
    printf(yada yada);
  }
}

But that's too slow, a large file size, and wasted characters typed.

This is expert LISP enterprise quality code

(loop for i from 1 to 10 do (print x) )

Isn't it just ``wonderful''.

(let ((x 2))
  ( )
  ( )
  (( ) ( )
       (( ) ( ) ( ))
       ( )))

think most languages were created for a specific purpose.

assembly, c, fortran, pascal, etc..

i enjoyed c and prolog - just because i was around at the time i suppose.

i did tinker with lisp - but as with most 4th gen - went away due to lack of demand.

still think c is the one to learn imho

cheers...sub.

Surprisingly, java has the highest demand. (And I know java, woo!)
