Just watched this - thought it was a good film - a mixture of classic spaghetti western and Tarantino Esc' violence twist.
Wondering the thoughts of others that have watched it.
Cheers...Sub.

very good film even if it is close to 3 hours long it has very few moments where the story gets boring. All around amazing cast especially the german bounty hunter guy although it was kind of sad what happened to him in the end since he was my favorite character aside from DiCaprio's character.
oh and as usual there is plenty of those "WTF did I just see" moments where something completely unexpected happens.
BTW Samual Jackson was F'ing hilarious as that house butler, reminds me of Uncle Ruckus from Boondocks

Most parts made me laugh..
I really liked it..
guess it would of been expected for the German to live- but made it badass that he at least killed Leo :X .. Quentin Tarantino did a good job on it in my opinion..

This film had it all, really worth a watch. Top class, never slows down, Quentin at his best. Truly, i would have watched this for another 3 hours.

f**king loved this film, watched it yesterday.
The music throughout the film was a highlight for me. A huge mix of musical styles all fitting perfectly with the shit that's going down.
Maybe a bit long, with a few parts that dragged but the rest made up for that.
Rednecks with bags on their faces was a scene of pure genius.

I loved the KKK scene
"My wife toiled for hours making all these hoods and all y'all can do is bitch about them!"
Once I heard that line i couldnt' stop laughing and had to pause the movie(I watched a leaked screener version)

Quentin at his best, means he takes a lot of classic movies of a certain genre, comes up with a more or less standardized script for that genre and includes a lot of little tributes (both audio and visual) to those classic movies ... he's done it over and over and it works
even though he took the Django character in a whole new direction from the previous 20 (or so) movies i thoroughly enjoyed what he did in this movie ... the OST was , as usual, a plus and the cherry on the cake was the Trinity song at the end ....
the australian cowboys (one of which Tarantino himself) were absolutely absurd but worked nicely as comic relief before the ending action climax
anyone else notice how 40 years later Franco Nero looks nearly the same?

With his movies the story is almost a afterthought compared to the great dialogue and great characters except for Kill Bill series where it had a good classic revenge story.

I thought it was pretty decent. Laughed quite a bit at the bit with the guys on horseback in masks/hoods. Tarainteno's films are wicked!

another f*ckin great tarantino masterpiece. I love it, just like a love inglorious basterds, and I love how he used the jewhunter in django aswell.
he's such a good actor, and always talks some very interesting conversations.
all the conversations of how they chessmate each other, conversationally, is so god damn intriguing that I can't pause to take a sh*t.
