Let's do it! THE (streaming) NETFLIX RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD! A couple off the top of my head:
Breaking Bad: Yeah
The Experiment: Movie starring Adrian Brody and Forrest Whittaker, about a psychological experiment in which volunteers either become prisoners or guards. It's quite a bit more extreme, but there actually was an experiment like this that they had to stop early (I think about 5 days in) because people were taking their roles too seriously.
The West Wing: This is really a true gem, they just added all the seasons for netflix streaming. Granted, the show is about the American government and there are a lot of British folk here, but I'd say it's worth a watch. If Bartlett was president, people would probably hate us less.
I don't use netflix because I save my money for better things like games on steam but try watching series like Suits, Justified, White Collar, Sons of Anarchy, Southland just to name a few.
I just watch most stuff online using free streaming sites because im a cheapass
Seriously? Aren't they bankrupt? You realize that you can have Netflix for the price of like, 2 rentals at blockbuster?
And I don't know what you're on about, that poll is not about cheese.
nope not bankrupt....yet anyway I know netflix is a better deal but sincew I rent film onnce evry month or so maybe less so my option kinda works out cheaper, but yeah netfilx is cheaper.
Netflix has me watching Warehouse 13, it's so shit, but I cannot stop watching, it's no double gloucester with chives but I do quite enjoy their documentary section. Farmageddon was quite interesting, big agro stomping on the small indie farmer, if your into that sort of thing.
i love most types of cheese, but extra sharp cheddar.... now onto the topic at hand... dont watch much netflix anymore - but still pay, pretty much so my friend has shit to do while he is recovering from major knee surgery (he's poor as well, hence y i pay for it)
netflix is great for tv shows
Blue Mountain State - one of the funniest shows i ever watched, very entertaining
Life on Mars - AWESOME FREAKIN SHOW... only 1 season, but it was meant for that, kinda like a mini-series but made into 17 episodes... was awesome - MUST SEE
Lost - depends what you like... it kind of dragged on the last season and a half... but i couldnt stop watching, one of my favs still
Weeds - Another funny show, but also with a hint of drama
Law & Order: SVU - love this show, always have
this show that vin diesel created called "The Ropes" - i enjoyed it, there's only 1 season though. Still worth a look.
The Tudors - alot of sex in this show, but good storyline to it.
Caprica - prequel to battlestar galactica - was disappointed there was only 1 season to this, nevertheless - still a good show.
alot of other good stuff on this site, u just gotta look for them... alot of diamonds in the rough so to speak.
Nice thanks, although I've watched all of blue mountain state and lost already (latter I watched as it came out, f**k the ending, yada yada)
I've watched pretty much all of weeds as well, but BLAH. Nobody in that show does anything for any reason whatsoever just HURR DURR WRITERS THINK W SHOULD DO THIS. No motivation or character emapthy whatsoever.

Blockbuster did go bankrupt and was bought out by dish network for like 233mil...dumbass move on their part since they decided not to have the company compete with netflix practically making it useless
