Went to the theater watch this last night and its the first time ive walked out while watching a 007 movie.
it was good in the beginning but quickly drags on too much and feels like its just copying ideas from other filmswhile using some nostalgia and humor to keep you watching.. The main villain is not that interesting when compared to all the past bond characters.
anyone else watched it yet and what do you think?

If you walked out like you said, then you can't really say in your "review" that it drags on too much. seems kinda strange.

I've found people who walk out during movies tend to be quite dramatic people, Fair enough if you have run out of popcorn or a drink though.
I've never walked out, you have to endure that shit man! Especially when you're with the misses.

Yeh seriously reviewers tend to watch the entire movie, they have more content to criticize if they see it in its entirety.
I dont understand your habbit walking out of movies, just suck it up as otherwise your review has no merit.
Onto the movie itself(which i have not seen). What do you expect from a bond movie? Its going to be cliche, repetative and have very similar themes.

I watched its for around an hour and 20 nutes and left and this thread is more about other peoples opinions on the film and not your opinion of me walking out because i got tired of it.
btw cryax walking out on a film doesnt mean your dramatic because ive only walked out on two films among the few hundred ive seen in the theater.

Ok, wasn't meant to be an attack on you - what you do with your money is no business of mine, I was just saying in general. I know a couple of people who have walked out during films and they are drama queens.
I will edit my post when I have watched the film.

Ok fair enough, I just got the impression you walk out frequently. I never walk out and the concept to me is strange but thats just me.

I enjoyed this film very much, the actor who played the villain 'Silva' I thought did an astounding job with him, quite different to the ones we were getting over the past decade or so, everyone did an amazing performance, would like to have seen more of the Bond girls though.....
!!!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!!!
With Naomie Harris as 'Miss Moneypenny', Ben Wishaw as 'Q' and Volderm.....sorry Ralph Fiennes as the new 'M', they'll definitely be bringing in new fresh ideas for the next Bond films to come and I cant wait.

I thought it was a pretty good movie, seemed a bit like 24 at times though
also walking out seems very silly indeed

Watched it on saturday with my girlfriend, we were both really excited to see it. However i felt let down by it. Don't get me wrong its worth watching just dont get caught up in the Hype. I'd spoken to a few people and they said it was amazing. Its not. I prefered Casion Royale.

I saw it online... Cinema is so expensive- I would never walk out!
I agree with you guys... I think it's not that great. The beginning and the end are fairly good, although it is very exaggerated. Also there were only two gadgets which were underused.
It's entertaining enough but it's not a good film by a long shot. You don't have to follow it and you'll know what's going on. Is one for the brain dead/ tired.

the previous two were amazing but it just felt like they were trying to mix 007 with the Die Hard films while making Skyfall

It was good but I thought something was missing. Perhaps it was overhyped and I was expecting too much of it.

In skyfall the villian is cooler than Bond, however Bond is not cool, hes just aggressive....
But still i would prefer 'Casino Royale'

bond fights have always been more stylized(especially back in the Sean Connery films) and up until Daniel Craig took over they've looked obviously choereographed. .

The only point at which bourn will win that bond is a rich like hell...he just loves to break aston martins, while bourn is little poor..he has to even steal a bicycle to ride...

Well not unless they're both veteran martial artists like Jet Li and Jack Chan in The Forbidden Kingdom. When those two fought each other that was not choreographed and they didn't hold back like they usually do with stuntman.
For most fight scenes in movies they can't and won't hit each other simply because you don't want to break your star's face and have him in the hospital rather than out advertising the movie.
