Phase 2 of The Avengers has BEEEGUUUUUUUN. |
Well they're already working on the Avengers sequel since it was stated that after Ironman 3 was finished they would begin working on Avengers 2.
So far Filming for Captain America 2 will begin in March 2013 and the Thor sequel will be released Nov 9 2013 but sadly the Avengers sequel has a release date for May 1st 2015 which is a hell of a long way away but most likely resulting from the actors(most likely Downey) having busy schedules.

Yes, and also Guardians of the Glaxay and the Possibility of Ant-Man due to be released before The Avengers sequel which will also tie-in with the movie would contribute to the late schedule release date, but i prefer that, builds up the attention...

I doubt an Ant man film will be the great because hes not exactly a name brand Marvel character as opposed to his Avenger counterparts. What would be even weirder than than Antman though was if they used Spiderman which alone his smartass wit would work well with Robert Downey Jr

if Jet Li spoke more fluently without his accent being so strong he would've been great for the role
btw who the hell is Ben Kingsly....sounds familiar
Edit: i looked up Kgsley and hes a good actor but he doesn't seem to be good for a villain role since everytime hes played the villain it wasnt that great.

Hmmmm not a bad choice actually. Thing is they'd have to make him look older, but not a bad choice at all. |
Well Jet Li has played villains before and is very good at pulling off an evil character
His performance in the film The One is probably one of my favorites because he not only plays the main character but a doppleganger of the main character and also the main villain.

R.D.Jr makes the Iron man movies imo. He's an awesome actor. Same as the sherlock holmes movies as well, i couldnt imagine anyone else being able to do those roles quite like him.

Well RDJ before the Ironman films he had issues with depression and achohol abuse and many including him have said hes much better as an actor after overcoming those issues. I've watched some of his films before Ironman and I have to agree with that.
I'm just curious what major roles he'll choose after they finish with Ironman, Avengers, and the Sherlock films. I would like to see him in the Pirates of the Carribean since I'm sure he would do well working with or opposite of Johnny Depp because both of them are good actors and can be very funny.

johnny depp plays a flawed kind of pirate(jack sparrow) character who is selfish while RDJ could play as a rival pirate or even a bounty hunter(they havnt had a bounty hunter kind of character yet) who is synical and a smartass
sometimes actors with similar personalities can work well together.

Hmmmm i don't know, i could see RDJ playing Jack Sparrow as well and Depp play's him. I still think they would be too similar to play along side each other. I can see where you are coming from though.
