hes funny but not all the time
the one thing i always laugh at is some scene where he has hidden tons of keys on his car where he has to get one key to unlock the next one till he eventually gets the one that can start the car

The Monty Python crew was way better. John Cleese (Fawlty Towers?) alone outclasses Atkinson.

Its on the Americans wont find this funny because american comedy is awful. Mr Bean is great fun, although I prefer Rowan in blackadder, but that is just how great an actor/comic he is.

Mr Bean is famous in a shit ton of countries. It's spread far and wide across the globe because it hardly uses English.
It's not the funniest thing ever, but it's universally likeable and charming in its own way. I have respect for that. Having a target audience of children isn't a bad thing. Entertaining both children and adults deserves respect.
Rowan Atkinson is incredible.
